I had a salad and a grilled cheese and my husband had a burger. Both were super tasty. The tater tots are amazing and their ketchup is super awesome. We will definitely be going back.

If this review was based on my first 4 times to 8 Bit, it would, without a doubt, be 5 stars. However, on my 5th visit, I was looking forward to ordering my usual shrimp po’boy only to find out it had been replaced with a salmon sandwich. Heartbroken! Please bring it back! Luckily, all of their beers are still delicious and their tots are AMAZING!

Great food, great service, decent but not outstanding beer… The fries with the homemade dipping sauces were exceptional.

You know those places you stop on in because you’re curious and bored and you walk out feeling like you’re a regular? Let’s just say I’ll definitely be returning. Can’t wait to come back next time for a few apps to go along with the great beer. You know that this family owned business put their everything into the quality of their product. Did I mention the 5 dollar pints during the day?

My first time here and 8-Bit did not disappoint. I had a couple Care Beer Citra IPA and they were very smooth and not overly hoppy. We ordered tater tots and a grilled cheese sandwich. The tater tots were definitely addicting and the grilled cheese was very tasty. Alex was our server. She was super cool, answered all our questions and was attentive. The place has a very nice atmosphere and they are now expanding. I can’t wait to see the finished product.

Stopped by for a quick lunch break and a couple beers while doing my daily errands. They have a super fun atmosphere, and although it was on the slower side when I went in during the early afternoon, I could see it being a fun hang out spot during the weekends or evenings. When I sat at the bar I was greeted promptly and got my beer, their Hefeweizen, right away. The Hef was flavorful and had a nice orange kick to it, it almost reminded me of an adult dreamsicle in liquid form — delicious! I ended up pairing this beer with their salmon sandwich with salt and pepper fries, which came out super quick. The bread, tartar sauce, and fish all paired very nicely and the salmon tasted fresh. My only issue was with the cook of the salmon and the fries. The salmon was a little over cooked for my liking, which I didn’t mind so much since most restaurants around town won’t cook their salmon to medium like I like it. What really bothered me was the cook on the fries. They were so over cooked that I could barely bite into their crunchy exterior. What’s odd is that they didn’t look over cooked, but trying to chew them left me very unsatisfied and I ended up leaving most of them on the plate. Overall, I found 8-Bit to be a great little pub with some delicious brews. It’s nice to have so many breweries popping up around town, especially ones that have food as well.

I went to ‘lunch with friends’ business networking group. I had a very good burger with fries… ketchup is made there. I did not have any beer that time, but I did later… nice.

I’ve made a lot of bad decisions in my life, a lot… but coming to 8 Bit brewery was one of the best decisions of my life! You see, while my life is in utter chaos thanks to a repetitive and continual string of one bad decision after the other, food has became my life. Some could say I’m a «foodie», others(like my doctor) would say I’m working on my next heart attack, but the fact remains I’m just in the search for the perfect meal. A friend suggested I try 8 Bit while passing through Temecula on one of my ventures down the 15 freeway as I did my rounds to my various children and estranged exes… and now I owe him a handshake. The food here is FANTASTIC and if you’ve got this far in my review, drop your iPhone or half-functioning Android and make an immediate trip over to 8 Bit. Words cannot describe how great their food is. I had the burger and WOW. Their fries? AMAZING. They put what appeared to be cinnamon and brown sugar on their fries which might sound weird, but it is utterly delicious in execution. We also tried their jalapeño cheese dip appetizer with pita triangles and again… on point! So good. The atmosphere of this place is rad too and is well appointed with an industrial vibe. Their bar top is badass… steel with rust rings/marks and then clear coated to seal in the look of the rings/marks… by far one of the coolest bar tops I’ve seen… so well done to their contractor! Finally, the beer. I tried a few of their lighter beers from the spectrum of light ales through their hef and all were really really good. For me, this place is worth the price of admission just for the cool atmosphere and amazing food… the beer is the cherry on top! Go NOW!

So, I’m a sucker for a bit of a gimmick and 8bit stays true to the theme — with beers that are named from the olden days of Homestar Runner(Grogdor — LOL) to other puns that drive you to drink(True Brewmance, Chuggernaut). I stopped in for a growler and discovered that I had the last one they had — clearly I’m not alone. I didn’t get to stay long but I will say this. I’m a bit of a snob to the burgeoning Temecula brewery scene mostly because they’re all crammed into business parks(I know I sound like a real asshole) but this one really sticks out — really cool vibe, hip gear, nice beers. I would also dare to say that the beers here are a bit more diversified than the standard heavier IPAs. I really enjoyed my stop by and will definitely come back when I visit the parents next holiday. Really looking forward to it!

Gave this place a second chance and was I ever happy I did. The beers have gotten better and the service is outstanding 4 stars because I’m a stickler for cheese curds but hats the only reason. Check out the double IPA I don’t recall the name but it’s an outstanding brew. Over all I spoke to soon on this place and I was pretty harsh, Just goes to show you that you can’t rush greatness Keep on keeping on 8 bit.

8 Bit has a beautiful building and an awesome concept, but their beers are nothing to write home about. I stopped by 8 Bit before hitting up Relentless and the new Ballast Point in Temecula. It was my least favorite based on beer quality. I think that they might be spending too much time focusing on their spectacular restaurant and not enough time focusing on their beers. If you’re looking for a nice place to enjoy an epic meal and have decent beer, then check it out. If you’re specifically looking for bomb beer, then skip it.

Lately, I’ve been trying to get out to all the little local breweries that have been popping up around town, and 8 Bit got the call this weekend. It’s very easy to find, and parking wasn’t an issue at all. We arrived a little after noon, and the place was packed! There were a few open 2 tops, so we snagged one as soon as we could. The hostess came over, dropped off some menus, and our server was at our table to take drink orders within minutes. I had the Grogdor East Coast IPA, and we started with the tater tots to share. Tots came out quickly, and are served with a house mustard AND a house ketchup. I’m new to the mustard game, but this was hands down the best mustard I’ve ever put on a tot. The ketchup was good, but seemed to have tons and tons of cinnamon in it. Not what I was expecting, but as I said, still ok. I had the Brewstro Burger with a side of fries, and my wife had the grilled cheese w/the salad. The burger was great, and the fries were ok too. I was told the grilled cheese was very good, and the little side salad also brought it’s A game. I wish I had known that the order of tots was going to be so large, my wife and I may have decided to split an entrée. As a result most of my fries went uneaten, which brought a frown to my face. I would absolutely recommend this to all people fans of smaller local breweries, and good eateries.

We went here for the first time on a Thursday night. We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in the door. The staff was very friendly. The music set a fun vibe and all the videos playing were very entertaining for the kids and adults. Loved the food! My salad was very tasty. It was huge! I could have ordered a half size. The fries and tater tots were delicious. The fries are like spicy churros. I would give five stars but there were only 3 beers to choose from. Understandable since it’s a new establishment. We had the pale ale and it was fragrant and delicious. Definitely coming back!

As soon as I saw the signs posted for 8 Bit last year, I’d waited, and waited and waited for the opportunity to preview their brews and menu. Though I missed the first soft opening because of traveling, I’ve still had it on my list of places to visit as soon as returning. 8 Bit is a local brewing company, but also operates a full service restaurant, setting them apart from most microbreweries in the ever-growing craft beer market of the Murrieta/Temecula Valley(I am glad they’re on the Murrieta side!). The signage is clearly visible from Jefferson Avenue and the space looks huge. When we dropped by, the dining area was much smaller and separated from what you can see from the street. Still, a good number of seats and bar top tables are inside, though it probably gets really crowded in the evenings and weekends. Once the other side opens up(still a work in progress), there will be much more breathing room. From what I’ve heard and read, I was expecting two handfuls of house brews available, but the menu board featured eight guest beers and about four brews(tapped out, maybe?). I tried the Love Bytes(Chocolate Lager) and Bits of Fury(collaboration IPA). For lunch, we ordered the Brewstro Burger and Chicken Panini. For a little extra, you can add tots, which I did. The burger was decent and the tots ordinary yet aplenty; the chicken breast was thick but half the size of the ciabatta, leaving excess bread. The shoestring fries, on the other hand, were seasoned and something I would get again over the tots(Tot Poutine sounds interesting and for the courageous). Service was fine, but we weren’t given cutlery for the dine. Dig the logo, as well as the fitting brew names and graphics to go along with the brewery’s theme. It’s nice to have another brewery to potentially draw more visitors to the neighborhood. I’ll likely visit again to see what else comes out of the taps.

8 Bit is run by some of the coolest, fun-est, most interesting people I’ve ever met. These guys brew a damn good beer, and the service is awesome. I don’t even like IPAs and I loved the Brewmance. It’s really citrus-y and light. You MUST get the Tater Tot Poutine! Every single tot is perfectly golden-brown, the gravy goes all the way to the bottom, and there’s plenty of duck confit. The Chipotle Hot Wings have a sauce stings delightfully, and The Boy is great sandwich. The fried shrimp, aioli, and slaw are in perfect proportion. 8 Bit may be brand new but it is every bit as awesome as I had hoped, and I can’t wait to watch them grow!
