Our company culture revolves around quality in workmanship and customer service and the painting experts in our crews are hired and trained according to our company mission, which is to provide consistently high quality service with customer service beyond what our competitors can offer. By using our proprietary estimating and management systems and software we can offer more attention to detail than other painters. Everything from our initial walk through to our bids to the actual painting is detail oriented– on purpose! We are not a great painting company by accident, but because the Larson brothers and their team strive every day to provide the best service. We admit that we are not perfect, however, and like every business we will have obstacles and difficult situations arise on our projects. Its that we handle these situations urgently, professionally and fairly that makes us a 5 star company.

History

Established in 2005.

Jesse and Sam Larson are third generation painting contractors and run the business together. Their father and Grandfather were painters for one of the Bay Area’s major painting companies and were the brothers’ main resource of knowledge while starting the business. Jesse began his career managing in one of the largest painting companies in the country and quickly found that quality workmanship and customer service were not consistent experiences for customers in the painting industry. Strong arming customers and unexpected costs were normal and painting companies would often abuse the confidence customers placed in them. Seeing this, He became determined to run a business managed by his own principles. Those principles are:

Business Owner

Jesse has been running Larson Bros Painting since 2005 with his brother Sam. He holds a degree in international business from Sonoma State University and has traveled to many continents including Europe where he also lived and studied for a year. Alongside running Larson Bros Painting, he volunteers at many non-​profit groups focused on start up and funding small businesses. Business is perhaps his biggest passion, however he also enjoys traveling, tennis, reading, wine, and working hard.

We are new to the area and found Larson Bros. through Unilocal.Rarely do you see such a high rating particularly with over 100 reviews. We contacted Sam and he came by give us a bid and an estimated date for completion. Jesse took it from there and John O’Neil and Sergio did the actual painting. They painted the cabinets, walls and brick in our kitchen. See the before and after pictures.
They did a great job on time. Their level of professionalism and craftsmanship was beyond expectations. Sam promised perfection and that’s what they delivered. We couldn’t be more pleased.
We have contracted with them to paint the outside of our home in the Spring. Thanks Larson Brothers.
To update: Larson Brothers finished painting the outside of our home. Again they did a wonderful job. We couldn’t be more satisfied.

Larson Bros did a superb job on our new home. Jesse Larson is patient and great to work with. He guided us through the many changes that had to be made during the job. We started out having Larson Bros paint part of the interior of our new place, but eventually had them paint everything because it looked so good. Their crew was on time and worked so neatly it was amazing. They are skilled at «cutting in» between different ceiling angles which was important to us because of the many angles in our ceilings. The crew spent a great deal of time (sanding) and experimentation (with different stain products) to restore our stair banister to match our floor. It looks fantastic. We had all of the trim work done and it’s really beautiful. We also had some electrical work done that required ceiling patching and refinishing. It’s flawless. They also discovered a leak in our ceiling which (after plumbing repairs), they patched and finished. It’s impossible to tell where the leak was. Edgar and the crew are easy to work with. You couldn’t ask for a better paint contractor. I would use them again without hesitation.

Larsen Brother’s Painting did a fabulous job on my house. Project Manager Francisco and the painters, Miguel and Francisco, were fantastic! They listened to our concerns about the paint colors, had high attention to detail and were very hard workers. I would highly recommend this crew. Jesse, the owner of the business, also kept in touch and visited the job site numerous times. It was apparent that he really cared about the quality of the work and if we were completely satisfied. This business really deserves five stars!

We hired Larson Brothers to paint the exterior of our building. Not only did their bid come in lower than any other business, it was the most complete and detailed bid that I have ever seen. Jesse, one of the owners is friendly and very easy to get in touch with and patient with all of my questions. Raul and his team pressure washed, caulked, scraped, sanded, trenched and more to get the building ready for the first coat of paint. Once they started, we were amazed that they finished the entire job in one day. The team was professional, friendly and unobtrusive. A few days after they were done, Jesse and Raul both came by to make sure the finished product was up to their standards and our satisfaction. They provided a couple of touch ups that were really just flaws in the building. Larson Brothers provides an excellent, professional service for a lower cost than most other painters. They are pleasant, speedy and easy to work with and are highly recommended. Thanks, guys.

Excellent work by the Larson Bros. for the outdoor painting of our house. Edgar and his crew did an excellent job, and he always showed up on time. His crew were nice and professional and went above and beyond what was expected. From the very start with Sam Larson communicating with me on a estimate, then Jesse Larson coordinating with the crew on a timeline and specifics of the job, I wholeheartedly recommend The Larson Bros. Painting. The price quoted was the best of the half dozen estimates we received, but they did more work than expected.

Update: I had Larson Brother’s repaint my kitchen after remodeling. Again, they were fantastic and total pros. They repaired the texturing to the wall and were very helpful in guiding me which paint to get. They even were able to get some of the same trim color after I had forgot to buy some!

Because of the stellar work Larson Brothers had done on multiple occasions in the past, I called Jesse and asked them to return to our home to do some additional work. This included a difficult task of matching the existing texture on our walls after a new staircase was installed. Edgar made it look as if nothing had ever changed! Jake worked diligently to paint new risers on the staircase and baseboards, as well as painstakingly touch up our kitchen cabinets. John coordinated everyone’s schedules so things (again) went seamlessly.

Larson Brothers did an outstanding job repainting the entire interior of my home. We used a number of different colors for various accent walls and their attention to detail was superb. The team was very friendly and helpful. I thought for sure we’d have to pay a lot more for such professionalism, but their bid was reasonable too. Not the cheapest, but well worth a bit extra to get the workmanship and thoroughness.

The crew at Larson Brothers could not have been more professional or meticulous as they repainted our home. Francisco, the foreman, was fantastic to work with. He explained that their painters are all employees, paid by paycheck, and must undergo drug testing. The business is family run, and Jesse Larson provided us with an incredibly fair quote. Even when I thought the work was done, they were touching up spots I could not see — to say these guys are detail-​oriented is an understatement. They were at all times, neat, clean and polite, putting everything away at the end of each work day, and took great care to protect surfaces. Our house looks brand new. If you have any questions about color, definitely consult with Francisco. He knows his stuff! I would not hesitate to hire Larson Brothers again.

I have used these guys for two different projects on my house now and I have been impressed with their customer service, quality of work and overall value. They have a very good team of consultants and even send a gentleman from Kelly Moore paints over to your house to match up the paint color correctly. On one project I ended up not liking the color and they agreed to come out and revise the color for free; this is very unusual to find in the business. The quality of the paint they use is amazing — much better than what I had before. Highly recommend these guys for your next project big or small.

I had my house painted last summer with Larson Brothers. I was very impressed with the service from these guys, from sales to finish. My job started quickly, after consideration of lots of sample colors, and suggestions for combinations (I needed professional input!) The paint used is thick and provided very nice coverage. A guy who does a lot of work on my house told me that he was impressed with their work and that they gave me a good price in his opinion. That made me feel pretty good. I would not hesitate to recommend Larson Brothers. They’re very professional – they check in several times throughout the job to make sure you’re satisfied, and to see if you have any other requests. So glad I got this done before the rainy season! It was time.

What a great painting company! We are absolutely pleased with the beautiful job Larson Brothers did for us. Our house was badly in need of exterior paint and much prep work and now it looks new. Francisco and his team, Francisco and Cesar, did a great job for us. They attended to the smallest details, recommended changes as we went along, and readily adapted to changes we made. They cleaned up each day and amazingly left no unwanted paint spray or debris. They were very professional and polite and constantly communicated their progress with us. The project was completed on schedule.
We got bids from several paint companies; Larson Brothers was very competitive. Sam Larson came out to bid the project. Unlike the other companies, he gave us great confidence that they would do whatever it took to do an outstanding job for us. And they did!
We recommend Larson Brothers Painting without reservation. We will use their services again in the future.

Fluffy is a happy Bunny. The wonderful bipeds at Larson Brothers painted the exterior of our warren in spectacular fashion. Mrs. Bunny and I did an extensive amount of research before deciding to contract with the Larsons. Jesse provided a professional and accurate proposal, Francisco was always available as job supervisor, and Mrs. Bunny and I are thrilled with the carnivores Angelo and Armando whose craftsmanship adorns the beautiful structure. They would make good rabbits (although they’d need to modify their ladders to work best with hare toes).
Like all other Unilocalers (even the humans), the Bunny clan gives high praise to the Larson Brothers for the quality of their work, attention to detail, and superior communications. If we bunnies had mail service, I’d send them all carrots and wilted lettuce. As it is, I’ll just leave the usual pile of «bunny pellets» in appreciation. Thank you for a job well done.

Larson Brothers stained & painted our staircase for us & we couldn’t be happier! They were very responsive over email & when we were ready to schedule one of the owners Sam came to our home in Vacaville to take some measurements & pictures. He quickly provided me with a quote via email. They were here a few weeks later to do the work. The project manager John & his team were outstanding. They were friendly, clean & hardworking. John made sure everything was exactly how we wanted. He made a custom mix of stain & made a few combinations until it was perfect. We could not be happier with the job they did or the level of service they provided. We will definitely be using them for all future paint projects & recommend them to everyone.

This update is long overdue; my apologies to the company. Life got too fast to keep up for a while there.
Larson brothers worked quickly to resolve the issue including the breakdown in communication. I even received a call from the initial contact (who no longer worked in the same capacity with the company) apologizing and vouching for the company to insure that a second chance would yield a more accurate experience.
We did not move forward with Larson brothers for the actual project but would certainly contact them to bid on future projects. Their professionalism and passion for the craft is evident as the positive reviews on various websites should help indicate.

We had Larson Brothers repair interior cracks caused by the 8÷25÷14 earthquake and then paint the inside of our house. We could not be happier with the results and I am very pleased to recommend Larson Bros Painting company to anyone who wants the best quality work.
The crew leader, John O Neil and his helper Salvador, were the very epitome of professionalism. They arrived on time each day and were friendly and courteous while on the job. Every evening, before they left to go home, they cleaned up their working area so that we were not inconvenienced in any way.
I had other estimates, and though Larson Bros Painting was a little higher, it was worth every penny that I paid. From the estimate process through completion working with Larson Brothers was a pleasure, and I would use them again without question.
