Hurricane Grill & Wings

Wings were good. The have a lot of options of other food as well as lots of different wing sauces to choose from. Staff all seemed like that didn’t want to be there but I went to eat not make friends with strangers.

Wish I could give zero stars! Is the entire staff stoned! My boyfriend and I just waited an hour and a half for wings (boneless). There are what? A total of ten tables in the place if that! Get your shit together! You ruined my date night! Ten percent off because your dumbass bartender/​waitress was too stoned to remember ten wings and a sandwich?! Our meal should have been comped! We are both in the industry and this «experience» was laughable. She told us that it was taking so long because they were waiting for the chicken !? When he ordered fish! Get a new staff it embarrassing for the staff to not work together!

Wings were scrawny with little meat. Fried crispy like maybe theyd been in the fryer more than once. Flavor of sauces was good. Fries were very dry like they had also been in the fryer more than once but were barely warm. Would have liked to have had more than one beer but once the bartender served me my first one she never offered me another. Which was frustrating because she spent a good portion of the time standing talking to the girl at the bar right next to me who wasnt even a customer, all the while my empty glass sat on the bar in plain view while I kept eating… Must have been a friend of hers who came by to chat because she sat at the bar and drank her iced coffee in a Starbucks cup the whole time and never ordered anything, just listened to the bartender talk about how drunk her boyfriend got the night before.

Food was great, no complaints there but the reason I only gave 3 stars was due to our waitress who had long hair to the middle of her back, not tied up and she was playing with it and fluffing it up at the food window!!! Also, another waiter brought a glass of water to the table which I thought was a refill, a minute later our waitress picked up the glass and gave it to someone else at another table, so it was obviously meant for someone else… Good thing I didn’t take a drink, but they didn’t know that nor did they seem to care. Seems like they need to train their wait staff.

Boss style wings are the best! Good and fast service. Needs more parking though… small place but good…

Love this place ! One of my favorite wing spots. Friendly staff and fast service ! The wide variety of choices on the menu makes it easy for the entire group to find something they want. The best broccoli in town ! Highly recommended lunch and dinner spot !

I entered the restaurant and was hit with the immediate smell of burnt old oil. The floors were sticky. So I didn’t stay I wouldn’t eat in there.

Worst service ever and the wings were disgusting and over priced! Will not go back or recommend.

took the family for all you can eat wing night while on vacation. This restaurant was not staffed properly for the evening.
The 2 servers where olverwhelmed. Too overwhelmed to promptly clean the bugs on oir table when asked. Later in the meal, when i had to swap the napkin dispenser with the table next to ours, I found more bugs crawling around. I have yet to visit a Hurricane Wings where we live, and hopefully will find a different experience if I decide too.

Good food. Good wings. Love the fries. Get the member card. They have coupons most of the time.

We have a special needs daughter who doesn’t always do so well with certain restaurants and especially waiting times. However, hurricane continues to be a place that we can take her and eat outside successfully. The food is great. Service is great. All around it’s just a good restaurant as a family or a couple without kids. Either way… we’ve always had positive experiences there. Keep up the great work!

A new found favorite! I’ve been twice over the last several years, but a couple recent visits have me craving their food!
It’s a small place, I’ve actually stopped in before to dine in and every seat in the house was taken so thank god for off season. But a great thing about this place is that the food still rocks when you have it packaged and picked up for take out… just make sure you ask for plenty of sauce!
A few weeks ago when my boyfriend and I dined in for dinner we started with the fried pickles, amazing! I thought about ordering wine, but skipped it, he got a yuengling on draft, nice and cold. Note, they only serve beer and wine, no liquor. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with their sig Parm fries on the side. So good! Asked for several dipping sauces to go with. He had the 20 wing sampler where you can sample 4 of their different wing sauces on 20 wings. We had Jamaican jerk, teriyaki, cyclone (my favorite), and honey bbq. All great!
Service is average and that’s ok with me, they’re very polite just not outgoing is all. But that won’t stop me from coming back. I encourage you to give this place a shot. Still wanting to try their conch fritters and all their other sauces. After two recent visits I can’t wait to go back!

I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, and pickles and it was delicious!!!

Goods and bads. I’ll list the pros and cons:
Pros:
— quick. Not necessarily fast food
— cheaper than most places
— sweet potato fries were good
— pulled pork sandwiches were good and you can pick different bbq sauces
— chicken wings were good
Cons:
— service isn’t the best
— small inside, so you’re better off outside
— burger sliders were horrible, don’t get them. They were overcooked, and no toppings. When they brought them out I asked if there was lettuce or tomatoes and they said no. By name, sliders should go down easily. These didn’t

had dinner sunday night. My wife and I had wings and a dinner salad. AWESOME.
The wings were cooked perfect. The dinner salad my wife said was very good. Service was very good. Everything came out hot and on time. Priced just right. Thanks for nice meal

8:44 p.m. on a Saturday night during tourist season. Walked in with my family of 5 and they were putting up the chairs. «You’re closing?» The waiter (who was putting up chairs) looked at the bartender and she said, «yeah, we’re closing.»
I get it, there were only 2 tables of people in the joint, but when do you turn down patrons when you’re supposed to be open for 2 more hours? On a Saturday?
Sad.
One star because I have to leave something.

5:50 pm. sticky bar. Had to ask for a wet towel.
No big deal! I can wipe Down the bar. It’s a wing joint.
No one tells me about specials.
Have sublime hard rock playing over top of espn. Just pick one. I thought I was going to have a seizure with all the competing noise.
Place is completely dead.
Didn’t ask about blue cheese or ranch. I’m nervous about what the cooks are making that ranch and blue cheese with.
Bar (101) don’t have competing audio. I’m listening to cold play and espn. They don’t jive well.
Bartender is about as pleasant as a hemriod.
No energy. No knowledge of beers at all. I am shocked this place has lasted with Fuji next door and millers across the street.
I’ve have cart food in DC in the middle of DC in December that is Better than this place.

I’ve honestly lost track of how many times I’ve been here with my group of friends for their 50¢ wings Tuesdays and Thursdays. Besides the wings, we always get the garlic parmesan fries to share, and I’ve personally tried their shrimp quesadilla (incredible) and crab cake sliders as well. The only reason this isn’t the five stars it used to be is that the boneless wings have been a bit overcooked and, thus, dry in the past year. It’s a small thing for the low price, but they were the perfect balance of tender and crispy before so it’s quite a let down.
