Massage Envy – Naples

Just relocated and found this location (bit far from my home) and not as elegant as hand and stone. But, front desk helpful and efficient, masseur (Yaulan– Alan) is competent and delivered the Swedish swift smooth circulatory massage I was looking for. A good value at $ 59 a month and $ 49 for extra massage each month (plus 20% tip on retail rate $ 10-​$ 12).

Had a horrible experience here! Booked a couples massage for Valentine’s Day as a surprise to my boyfriend two weeks in advance. The entire purpose of the visit was for the couples massage. We arrived 30 minutes early and waited in the back. Our appointment was for 1 pm. At 1 pm I was met by therapist only to find out that he was taking me to a single massage room. I told the therapist that I had booked a couples massage and was then taken to the front desk where I spoke with the manager who tried to blame it on the couples massage room being double booked and that they had tried to contact to me but the call failed, (which was not true because I had confirmed the appointment the afternoon before) I told the manager that this is simply not my fault and am not sure how to proceed. He then told me that he would comp me a free «aroma therapy» …big woop! The aroma therapy was a mini bottle filled with lotion! After 10 minutes of trying to figure this mess out I was so stressed that we had to have separate massages in separate rooms, that the surprise was ruined, and on top of that they cut my massage short because of their mess up!!! My massage was supposed to be an hour and was only 35 minutes after all of that! Will NEVER return!

I am a massage connoisseur. I was going from one massage parlor to another looking for those high quality massages that Los Angeles had offered and it took me 8 months to find Silvina. I am accustomed to the massages that heal me. Most massage therapist do not know what they are doing. I am used to Asian massages where the right flow on energy is combined with the right amount of pressure and working on the knots. Silvina is the star. Immediately she understood what I want. This was the first massage therapist in Florida (and I have been to Miami and Boca Raton spas), who knew hoI had wings! She was able to get to every single of my tight knotsI finally found a true professional. I am a loyal customer! I can’t wait to schedule an appointment with her again! Silvina is a true healer

I love Massage Envy Naples and my therapist Nick. I’ve been a member for years, and have experienced the skills of 5 of their therapists (and several elsewhere). Each has always been courteous and professional. I can tell there is a certain level of service all therapists are expected to achieve. However, training and dexterity does differ in therapists. The affordable price schedule allows clients to match up to the ideal therapist for their needs. The reception staff is always friendly and plentiful and can also assist in matching clients needs to the correct therapist. My sessions always start and end on time. The rooms have adjustable lighting, relaxing music, optionally heated beds, and have always been peaceful. This facility is very well managed.

Came here today to have a massage with my husband for my birthday. We both had 1.5 hour services and they gave me a free sugar foot scrub for my birthday. Staff was very friendly and massage was good. We’re from ft Lauderdale but when we come back, this will be our spot.

I was a little scared after the reading reviews. I was very content with the service from call to set up massage until the moment of check out. Very nice, friendly and overall service. In from Miami and was not disappointed using my massages at this location.

The reception desk workers r really helpful & efficient — from working with ur schedule to helping u figure out which massage therapist you’ll like. Personally I’m a huge fan of Ebony — she’s got magic hands that undo all the tension built up in my my back & neck from being on the computer.

The quality of the massage was decent (maybe 3.5 stars). The problem that I have is that I scheduled and paid (card number requested in advance) a 60 minute massage and when it was over, I checked my watch and only 40 minutes had elapsed. I frequently get massages and I have never had anything like this happen before. I would not recommend.

Made a appointment online yesterday. Received a automatically generated email saying a representative would be in touch to confirm. No contact by 10A this morning. Called and was told, «We really don’t check those emails.» Nice. No appointments available now.

This Massage Envy has a habit of blaming the customer. Her statement is a complete falsehood, particularly since she was not there and had no first hand knowledge of the incident. As a manager,/owner she needs additional training to understand that in her position, in these types of circumstances, she should be accommodating the customer’s concerns, not spreading falsehoods about incidents that she knew nothing about. I asked for a specific massage and got what they wanted to give me. I never addressed the masseur since it was not his fault! It was Massage Envy’s fault. No customer service at this clinic… just a bunch of bullies. I have been a ME member for TWO years and I will try not to let this horrendous experience affect my membership. This would never have happened at the clinic where I signed up. Unfortunately, I was on vacation and this was the closest. Stay away!

The receptionist Rick, is so insanely sweet. I had Travis for my massage. He’s new to massage envy, but the best massage I’ve ever had.

Buyer Beware. Whenever a contract is involved strongly consider the level of professional customer service and availability of services. Plus, don’t sign a contract with them if you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant! Unfortunately I had signed a contract before I became pregnant and the availability for female pre-​natal certified masseuses is extremely limited. No availability on the weekends? I had to have several conversations with the very rude concierge, Steven, and the manager Denise before I was able to get out of my contract because of too much scheduling conflict. I thought I would be able to walk away with a fair resolution but unfortunately one of their employees, Katherine, lied and said I was at an appointment that I had cancelled and therefore I could not get my full refund. Unfortunately I have to walk away with only a portion of what is owed me and a sour taste in my mouth, but that is the price I pay for signing a contract with a sub-​standard massage chain. Lesson learned.

They were very nice. Were able to accommodate our group. All good therapists. Clean place. Really great price. We feel great. It’s a no frills sort of operation. We expected that, but I still thought I should mention it. Will be glad to go there again.

Ok. So, I am home for a week here in Naples, and my mom and I decide to try out the Massage Envy location here in town. I currently live in San Diego, and have had wonderful experiences at the locations out on the west coast.
We each had a 9 am appointment for a 90 minute massage. It was 8:55 and we were driving around the plaza trying to find the exact location in the huge shopping center.
I call the location, and cheerfully ask where «exactly» in the plaza are they located. I’m looking for a landmark. The very abrupt greeting I received on the other end, who introduced themselves as the manager, said «Next to Publix.» I said, «oh sure, thank you, but we are here facing the Publix, so where exactly on what end are you near, what is next to you…» She again says «Next to Publix.» This was also followed with a sigh of annoyance.
The same moment that I realize my frustration, we delightfully find ourselves in front of the location (next to a Subway landmark!), I then thank her, hang up, and we walk in.
My mother and I proceed to walk in with smiles on our faces, and the same «manager» greets us with «you must be x and x. Here, sit down and fill this out, your therapist will be with you as soon as your done.»
Meanwhile, there are 3 therapists, 2 desk clerks, and this manager, all congregating in the front lobby.
She couldn’t have been more abrasive. I felt as if I was going into the principles office, not a relaxing massage. BTW, no «good morning, glad you found us…» NOTHING!
So, we fill out our paperwork, and the two therapists out of the same crowd that had been hovering in the lobby over us as we filled out our forms, proceed to herd us to our rooms. My mother had a greeting, but me, no. Not a «how are you?» Nothing. So bizarre.
My mother was shuffled to her room, and I was directed to mine. My therapist guides me to my room and instructs the following in a very militant manor: «please disrobe to your comfort level, lay facing upward, and I will be in in a minute.» Once again, how about a «hello.» or, a, «are there any particular areas you would like me to focus on?», or «I see here on your paperwork that you would like me to only apply firm pressure…» How about some bedside manors! ?? !! What if this was my first time getting a massage? I would be freaked!
So, he proceeds. I finally begin to relax. I tell him, «do you mind focusing on x y z» He seemed annoyed.
What is the conclusion? Here it is. 90 minute massage was fine. Any massage to me is heaven, and yes, the therapist did end up saying a few interactive words and did a lovely job. Yes, theraputic.
So, my mother seemed to enjoy her experience, but did highly agree that our greeting and the unprofessionalism of the staff congregating in the lobby was definitely bazaar.
One other observation. Out of the 2 or 3 locations I have been to, this is the only location that had all the bed sheets and blankets visible in a big plastic storage container at the front desk. Very tacky. Especially when I can’t determine if they were clean or not.
Do I still like Massage Envy? Absolutely. This location? Eeek! What’s the deal with the abrasive, unprofessional, and eye sore towel bin funk?
I do wish them the very best in success. Again, just my experience. Maybe it was a bad day for everybody? However, from a professional stand point when the customer drives your business, customer service and first impressions are imperative.
