BEST JOB EVER! We hoped for a good job and got a top of the line paint job on our E320 Mercedes. She looks like she just came off the showroom floor. not only did they do an impeccable job of making her beautiful outside, they cleaned and shampooed my carpets.
Maria was so awesome, she told us what to do to keep our paint looking great for years

Dropped my car off on Tuesday and it was done on Thursday, good job too. The guy who first helped me was helpful and had expertise.

I went there to give my friend a ride since he had a 12:15 appointment to drop his car off for a paint job. All the details had already been worked out about the paint job last week so it was really a matter of Maria just taking his key. After twenty minutes of waiting because she was giving someone else who pulled up BEHIND him an estimate, despite the fact that he had an appointment, he left in frustration taking his business to someone who will respect the customer more than this person. It is a shame that one unprofessional interaction will paint (excuse the pun) the business with a bad brush. Bye bye Maaco and thanks for wasting everyone’s time.

My husband and I recently bought a car from a dealership that works with Maaco. He purchased a package that included a paint job. They switched the color of the car from orange to red. When we finally got the car back, it had a handful of random extra red strokes on the black trim of the car. I understand they had to remove the doors to paint the inside too, but the plastic black trim around the window was torn a bit and also had a bit of red. My husband paid good money for the paint job and the car. This was his dream car purchase. ANY customer that pays to get a paint job deserves good quality work. It was sloppy. There is no other way to say it. Fortunately Maria was really nice to my husband, but I am not as forgiving. They agreed to take it back in to fix their mistakes «at no extra charge». Well of course we aren’t paying for that. I’ll edit my review if needed when we get the car back for a second time.

Sorry to hear about those unhappy customers. My experience was fine. My wife’s car had the clear coat peeling off like crazy and the paint was fading. I didn’t want to spend $ 5,000 painting a car I am going to sell in a couple of years. I went to 3 places and they had «all or nothing» attitudes. One place said they couldn’t take the car in for a week and then the process would take 2 weeks! I was referred to Maria from a hot shot painter in El Cajon.
Maria had me choose exactly what I wanted with MY car. I decided what I wanted and what I wanted to pay for. In 3 days, I had my car. Not a perfect color match, a few very minor blemishes, but over all I am very happy with the way the car looks. If I wanted it perfect, I would have paid a perfect price. You get what you pay for.

Id never been in a car accident in my life and recently? Boom2 ib obe week. F**k me. Lol Went in to the shop the service was exacrly wuat youd wsnt from collision repair, fast efficjent and no bull. Thanks Maria!

Don’t ever go to this Maaco the manager Maria Cruz has a really bad attitude. We got our car painted here and it wasn’t the the color that was shown on the sample in the book. We called and told her what happened, she told us to come into the store and see what they can do about it. As soon as we walked in she told us there was nothing they can do. If she already knew the answer to the question why even make us come in anyways. Maria had a really bad attitude from the start, she walked away while we were still talking to her. I will not be coming back to this Maaco and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Recently my son got into a minor accident. Even though the damage didn’t seem that bad, I know from experience, that our insurer would have probably called the car a «total» because it is an older car. However, it is a nice car that has been well-​cared for, so I didn’t want to surrender the car, or face the inevitable raise in rates. (Lord knows insuring a teen is high enough!) We decided not to file a claim and to pay for the car repair outside of our insurance. After I started getting estimates, I was thoroughly depressed. All the estimates were SO much higher than I’d expected. One reputable body shop suggested the only way to get the car fixed affordably was to send it to TJ. Even though I had no intention of taking the care to TJ, he hooked me up with a guy who gave me his price. I was about to accept the fact that my son was going to have to drive his rumpled car the way it was, then we went to Maaco. The estimate looked good, so I went over to talk to them. They were SO nice and helpful. Their price even beat the TJ price. My expectations were low, but I’d run out of options. They promised they would have the car ready a couple days later. even told me what time I could expect it to be done. On that day, the car was ready earlier than promised. When I arrived, I was shocked. The car looked like it did before the accident. better actually, because they did a couple little things they didn’t have to do. The hood that didn’t close, closes perfectly now. The doors open and close perfectly. The buffed out some scratches that weren’t even part of the repair. They even shined up the rims, so our old car looked all shiny & new. Three days earlier, I’d given up hope on that car ever looking good again. I can’t say enough good about them. I was expecting «budget» quality and service, but instead we and our 17-​year old car got VIP service. Highly recommended.

Do not go here. They do sloppy work and the manager, Maria, is a snake. A woman hit my car while parked a couple weeks ago and she asked that we not go through her insurance, she would pay outright to get the car fixed. She sent me to this Maaco location because she is familiar with Maria, the snake manager. I got my car back just now and part of the area that was supposed to be fixed still had scratches. When I showed this to Maria she first said that they hadn’t touched that part of the car because I had told her not to fix that part of the car, which I had never said. Why would I tell her to fix only part of the damages??? Then she said she couldn’t see anything. Then, when that lie was too obviously ridiculous for even her to hold on to, she said it was so small it didn’t even make a difference. So, magically, she could see it. Long story short, don’t go here and always go through insurance companies. I’ve had work done by West Coast Auto Body on 30^th and Upas twice and they always did superior work, try them if you need auto body work done but DO NOT GO TO MARIA THE REPTILIAN AUTO BODY FRAUD.
