Bumper Medic

Since I was in the Miramar area and drove past Bumper Medic, I figured why not go in to get a quote on my bumper? Dave removed my bumper scuffs and cleaned it up for me at no charge! Although my car needed a bumper makeover, he did not try to oversell me anything. Instead, he even suggested a cheaper route for me to go as he could probably sense that I may be having a bit of financial issues. Thank you Dave again for all your help and honest business!

The paint matching /​removing scratch/​dent and the bumper looked NEW ! I don’t think anyone would match their prices AND service quality.
Just quick note of caution: while entering parking lot of Auto-​Port Mall from Mira-​Mar road is really deep /​bad and if you are too fast (which you might have to be if you are turning left), you will hit your bumper on the ground.

Went here today for a bumper scratch from hitting a pole while parking, I just got the paint from the pole removed. The person who worked on my car did it for free as courtesy for it coz it wasn’t anything major, which was really nice of him. No up-​selling whatsoever.
Update2: Had another bumper incident and husband took it to them this time. Had the paint removed for free. Hard not to recommend these guys.

Do you guys offer work guarantee? I got the front bumper on my 5 series worked at Bumper Medic a few weeks ago, it looked great when I picked it up from the shop, but now the repair you guys did is starting to wear off, and I’m afraid it will end up the same way as before.

My wife found this place by searching Unilocal.We were impressed by all the rave reviews. We were not disappointed. The experience was great and they did an amazing job on our car — looks like new. Ask for Dave who was very pleasant and professional to deal with and took care of everything with a personal touch you rarely get at a body shop. If you want great work, great service and very reasonable prices, this is the place.

Had a crack on my focus st bumper and thought it might need replacing. Went to bumper medic and spoke to david to get a quote, and said he could save it. It was supposed to be done by saturday, but they discovered another crack and told me it will be done monday. They didn’t charge me anything extra from the quote and kept me updated on the process which makes the delay acceptable for me.
Charges a very fair price and the work is excellent! Definitely will come back for my rear bumper!

Scratched up my three month old MB C300 passenger door and mirror badly pulling into a garage. These guys made it look as good as new and for a reasonable price. They explained what needed to be done before hand in detail and mostly stuck to the estimated timeline (one day late, nbd). Would recommend to anyone.

I came to Bumper Medic after being quoted $ 1,200 at my conventional body shop to replace the entire bumper. I backed into rebar that was protruding from a wall and punched a hole in my bumper that looked like a giant hanging chad from a voting ballot. I was quoted almost 50% less at Bumper Medic to fix my existing bumper. The minute he saw my bumper he said «Oh I can definitely fix that!» which made me feel at ease right away that he was confident it could be done. He said it would take three days because I have a three-​phase paint job (white pearl) but the car was finished in 44 hours… less than two days! They also washed and vacuumed my car AND Enterprise Car Rental is conveniently located next door which will give you the «shop rate». I’m driving straight to Bumper Medic if anything ever happens to my car again :)

Tito and his crew never disappoint. They’ve repaired just about every one of my cars (seriously, never my fault!) and they come out better than new. And they back up their work… They’ll do whatever they need to do to keep you satisfied. Tito reminds me of Chip Foose with his attention to detail. Highly recommend them.

Best experience at a repair shop. I came in because my bumper had started to fall off. The team fixed it FOR FREE, with the hopes that I’d come in when I had a bigger problem. I WILL, indefinitely.

Needed to have scuffs removed from my two year old BMW. There were five small areas and none went down to the base coat. I spoke to Dave on the phone and he quoted $ 125. I booked it and showed up. My car was filthy and I asked if they washed the cars when they were done. He said no.
However, when I picked it up the car was washed. As for the scuffs, they were removed perfectly. The car looks brand new again!
Great deal and great customer service. They even drove me to work!

My bumper was hanging by only one pin.
Came in to see if they could add some pins to make sure it stays on.
They hooked it up with 4 pins and got me in and out in less than 5 minutes, all free of charge.

I took my Brother’s car into the shop to get it painted because I scratch the front bumper. The quality of work was superb and looked like factory paint. They even gave me discounts for being a first time customer. The turn around time is 3 days as they take their time to make sure it’s done right. Thanks to Dave for the great service.

I used their services to install a high quality carbon fiber lip kit made by seibon which consisted of a front lip, side skirts and rear aprons. This kit does not come pre drilled with holes. I took my car in to get them installed and they told me it would take a week. 7 days. 7 days later I go there and they tell me it’s going to take 2 more days. I didn’t receive a phone call. I picked up my car two days later and see that upon installation, they drilled an extra hole through my carbon fiber front lip. I mentioned it and they explained that it didn’t line up the first time so they had to re drill a hole.
A couple days later, I was driving on the 78 west. My front lip disconnects from the center and is only being held on by the bolts on each side. I had to remove it and noticed that it was not being held on by the center mounting tabs. The tight fitment of the carbon fiber holding onto my front bumper was the only thing keeping it together in the center. If there were quick clips or bolts on the center tabs, there would be scratch rings on the installation tabs. It was clean of scratches. The result was damaged carbonfiber patches with chips and scratches.
I took the lip back stating that it wasn’t mounted properly, causing it to fall off and that nothing was done the first time about the extra drilled hole. I was told that there was no way to prove that it was mounted incorrectly by them and that I should have checked it before leaving the first time. They did own up to the extra hole. They agreed to «repair» my front lip but I had to pay to get it painted.
Again, they said it would take a few days and it took longer. It took about a week. I was told that their painter was out. I had to find out, they didn’t call.
Never going back to this place or would not recommend this place for anyone.

The rear passenger door of my BMW came off second best in an argument with my garage but Jose and the guys in Bumper Medic did a great job in fixing it.
They fixed the dent using paintless dent repair and buffed out the remaining paint damage while I waited and I can’t notice any difference. They also took care of a few other little dents and dings for me. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and I felt they really care about their work. I was afraid it was going to cost a lot to fix my mistake but in the end I was pleasantly surprised with the estimate and Delighted with their work. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough and they deserve all their 5 star reviews.

I swore off writing Unilocal reviews, but I have to give credit where it’s due. In this case, it’s more than due.
After a disastrous fender accident, my brother-​in-​law took me to Bumper Medic. Unfortunately, it wasn’t before I nearly suffered a heart attack at Chapparone Auto & Body– they issued a $ 3,400 quote for my fender, headlight, and bumper (the last two didn’t need to be replaced… even I could see that). Not to mention, listed labor hours were factory recommended, not the ACTUAL labor hours. Regardless, they were going to charge me the maximum amount. (They were extremely friendly there, though.)
Not surprisingly, I got three confirmations that I did NOT need to replace anything except the fender. Juan quoted the job for $ 1,257– new fender, bumper smoothing, and paint matching for the entire bumper. I only expected him to fix the problem area, but he threw in the entire bumper at no extra cost and buffed my headlight out for me.
I was extremely wary of how the car would look after the job, especially since my TL has glittery flakes in the paint. I didn’t think anyone would be able to match it at such a low price, but Juan did it! I dropped the car off on Monday morning when the part arrived and got it back Thursday night. Juan was very accommodating and even stayed after closing so I could pick up my car.
I got a pleasant surprise when my car was returned– it had been washed, buffed, and the interior cleaned.
My car has another ding on the opposite side, but that’s another job for Juan for another day.

Unbelievable (and in a good way).
Our beloved Tesla was hit, TWICE, in the same parking lot. We went to Amato’s, because they are the only ones licensed to work on our car in the area. They were slammed (no pun), so I looked elsewhere. I saw that Bumper Medic guaranteed their work, so how bad could it be? Not bad at all. Very far from bad actually. Juan and Tito were professional, helpful, and assuaged most of my anxieties.
I picked up the car today, and it looks perfect. I mean it. It looks better than it did BEFORE the impact.
They recommended that I get the wheels touched up, and was a little skeptical at first, but they turned out beautiful.
Tito even discovered and fixed a hanging temperature sensor that I didn’t know was hanging.
