Aerospace High Performance Center

Took Aeroimpact — I walked out with 20 minutes to go. It was horrible and not worth my time.
I was slightly skeptical before coming here because there aren’t very many reviews on Unilocal,and the few that were there seemed a little fishy. I wish I had listened to my gut.
The class started FIFTEEN minutes late because they didn’t have enough instructors to wrap everyone’s hands. INCREDIBLY unprofessional.
Once we got going, I realized I actually had NO ROOM to move because the class was way overbooked. I maybe had 3 feet around me (I got a corner spot) which, when you’re boxing, is not nearly enough. I kept bumping into the mirror and walls. Not good.
The instructors did not teach the proper technique. I have gone to a few boxing gyms (Overthrow is my favorite, followed by Work Train Fight, and Title is also a great workout), so I understand the basics, and from the start, the instructor clearly didn’t have the right experience to be teaching.
On top of all of this, the guy that was sharing a bag with me was doing everything completely wrong and the instructor did not stop to correct him! It got to the point he was punching the bag so hard that it was flying all over the place, nearly hitting me, and would cause me to miss when I was punching.
I wish I was making this up or could erase this HORRIBLE experience from my mind. I did not think it was worth my time to stay for the entire class so I left 20 minutes early (which makes a total of a 25 minute «workout» given we started 15 minutes late).
DO NOT GO HERE, GO TO OVERTHROW OR WORK TRAIN FIGHT IF YOU WANT TO GET A GOOD, LEGITIMATE BOXING WORKOUT.

This is the best gym in the city hands down. The workouts are high performance and extremely challenging in the best possible way. It’s the most beautiful environment with the friendliest group of folks getting you motivated to be in tip top shape. This is no Equinox and definitely no Crunch or soul cycle… it’s something far better then those for body, spirit, mind and physique!!!
Micheal and Leila (the owners) are always there working as hard as the rest of us. They both have the kindest spirits and with high motivation. I am inspired just stepping into the place. The classes are phenomenal and the personal training is the best that I have ever had. (shout out to Tashon who kicks my butt day after day xoxoxox) Put simply… I LOVE THIS GYM! I wish that I could be there everyday if it weren’t for my work schedule. Even the music is tight!!!
Locker rooms are luxurious, gym space is spot on and the folks that work and train there are spectacular. Love you Aerospace…

You’ll definitely find a challenging, sweaty workout at Aerospace High Performance Center. I have only come for the Intro to Aerobox class with Shedrick. Do not be fooled by fact that the class name has the word «Intro.» I consider myself to be in great fitness shape, as I work out 5x+ a week and had been running endurance distances, but this class is no joke! Jump roping pushes you into anaerobic state, so it is a phenomenally challenging class. They advise you to take this class about 10x before taking the regular Aerobox and so far, I’ve taken 5! The class uses jump ropes, light 1lb hand weights, and gliders and we jump rope, do core work and weighted boxing moves. I guarantee you will be panting/​sweating your butt off!
I will definitely be back to try the other classes one day!
Tips: Bring a lock for the locker room. There are many lockers, but it’s a tight space. There are also a few showers. Bring your own water bottle, as they have water fountains. They provide towels for you for the workout and for the shower. You can rent jump ropes for free at the front desk by swapping in your ID.

Aerospace is my favorite gym in the city.
I go to Soul Cycle, Pelaton, SLT, Tonehouse, Bikram Studios, Flex, Barry’s… and Aerospace gives me everything I need. The facility is nice and the locker rooms have plenty of space and showers. The workout is very challenging and I appreciate that there is always room to push and improve. The classes aren’t designed for you to ever completely conquer. They will make you sweat, they will work your muscles, and they will give you results.
The AeroImpact class is my favorite because there is something rewarding about making contact with a boxing bag, but AeroBox and Aero3 always give me a run for my money.
TIP: With any of the jump roping classes don’t be discouraged if you don’t catch on immediately. It takes practice to catch the rhythm, but riding out the learning curve is worth it.

This is the best gym ever, anywhere, full stop.
Words are not enough to explain how this workout is so different than any others. And when I say «any others», I mean it — I’ve been at LA Boxing, at Crossfit MPH, at Equinox, at Reebok, almost at any gym — NOTHING compares to Aerospace.
If you think that Michael is amazing, try the classes with Leila or Shedrick. Actually, Leila’s are the most difficult ones, though they start with warming up from her ballet school.

I had the best time here at the boxing class!
Michael O. is everything! I was lucky enough to score a free class here thru Nike+ and what a great experience it was. The décor is all white and it is immaculate. They have a mini boxing ring and a huge open space upstairs. Downstairs they have a punching bag area with multiple bags. The women’s locker room was extremely clean. They even had blowdryers and a flat iron I mean it cant get any better than that! The lockers were huge and spacious. I had a ton of things with me after work and everything fit inside.
The workout with Michael was great. He is a retired boxer so he clearly knows his stuff. The workout consisted of jump roping, Light weights, punching techniques and a few other things. I was beat! It was a really great work out. The music was pumping the energy was great I certainly enjoyed myself. I was told that you can pay per class or obtain a membership. I highly recommend grabbing a group of friends or going solo! And checking out a class you wont regret it!

If you want to sweat and tone up your body go to Aerospace! Micheal is amazing! I’m no jump roper but Micheal makes me want to learn how to be better at it! My feet are killing me! Thanks Micheal! See you soon!

I don’t even know where to start with this review. Best workout I have EVER done. I have been going here since sept and I’ve lost 20 pounds. My body has never looked this good. You literally feel high after the workouts. Michael and Leila are amazing instructors!
