Charles Kaner, DDS

Dr. Kaner just completed two implants for me. He was recommended by my regular Dentist as I was a difficult case. He did a great job and was able to do two new special implants without a sinus graft. His staff was terrific and followed up with me for each appointment. My follow-​up appointments with him were professional, thorough, efficient and I didn’t have to wait.
I would highly recommend Dr.Kaner.

Doctor Kaner is a strange little man who dresses in tailored scrubs, prescribes antibiotics too loosely according to my other doctors, and who charges more than double the rate that insurance will reimburse for and that doctors I now trust more have charged. He misdiagnosed me with gum recession, suggested that I receive corrective unnecessary surgery, and pointed out that he has done procedures for stars in a way that was a little too salesy. I do not want to be sold, I do want to pay fair rates, and I do want to be treated better than his front desk was willing (i.e., returning calls, not interrupting me, not having attitude). Please do not go to this doctor, do not confuse high rates with quality service.

I’m in my ‘70s, and in the last few years have had two implants, each accompanied by a bone graft. Dr. Kaner is expert in his craft, methodical, efficient, very concentrated, fast, and on both occasions the procedures were successful and trouble free. The man has impressive credentials and I would recommend him to anyone.

When I came to Dr. Kaner a couple of years ago, I was in a bad spot with my #7 tooth. It had suffered severe damage over the course of 10+ years and needed to come out. He calmly and expertly explained that I had a severe amount of bone loss and that before an implant was even possible he would have to do several bone grafts. I have to stress that my front gumline had collapsed and there was such a divot! He was able to build up the bone with several grafts over the course of two years and finally perform the implant surgery. It surely has been a journey, but I am incredibly pleased with Dr. Kaner and his work. In addition to being type-​a with his dental work, he is also a skilled sculptor and expert skier. I think everything he attempts he does well. You know the kind of guy we are talking about– in school he did everything well and was constantly challenging himself. It was inevitable he would become a doctor. If you want the best, go to Dr. Kaner.

Dr. Kaner us a superb periodontist. I recommend him highly for anyone in need of high quality dental implants. He does outstanding work. I have been a patient of his for several years and am completely satisfied with what he has done for me.
