It couldn’t have been easy growing up the illegitimate Asian stepbrother of Gordon Ramsey, so I can’t completely hate on Gordon Chen.*
Overall, the food is of good quality, which is impressive given its low price (I think a combo meal with an entrée big enough for two, rice, and soup is under $ 10), but it’s absolutely flavorless. Other than the temperature, there really wasn’t anything hot nor sour about my hot & sour soup, and my chicken was bland bland bland.
Though the price is right, the food isn’t terrible, and the delivery is efficient, I’ll probably not order from here again.

The chinese food here is absolutely wonderful! It’s not oily like other places. And the flavors are fantastic. Their bbq ribs and chicken are to die for. We also loved their seafood. The shrimp and lobster were so fresh and «naturally sweet» all of our dinner guests loved it. I definately recomend this take out place located on 53rd street. Their delivery service is very good.

BOOO!!! what a dump, the food from this place gave me heartburn for like a week, and i am like the dog from the cartoon lady and the tramp, i can eat anything without getting sick. I thought that the food was a tad pricey, especially for a place that is situated in a freakin basement. The joint has no décor, the walls are plain white, and no ambiance whatsoever, again BOOOO!!! Oh, almost forgot, its only take out, no seating, no sunshine no good music, no good food, no nothing. Did it once, will definitely not try again, see ya!
