Groom Your Fiend

There is no one like Barry in this business. I have had dogs groomed all over the city for many years and no one is as fast, efficient, caring and talented as he and his staff. My dog still does not like getting his ears cleaned, but Barry always does the best job possible anyway! I highly recommend him, even to the most finicky pet parents.

My toy poodle went for a haircut, so glad to find a reputable groomer in the neighborhood. My boy looked great after his cut! He was in and out in an hour!
Only cons would be price. A bit pricey for me, so im hoping we can hold off as long as possible until the next one.

Barry is super knowledgeable and he and his team are amazing at what they do. Such a relief to have found someone like him in the neighborhood. Thank you so much for doing such a great job!

I forgot to mention, only groomer I have seen to have the grooming table for the world to see out front with a huge glass window. He has nothing to hide and only care and skill to show. Walk by and watch him sometime through his shop window.
Just be sure to check out the bird nest on top of the ac unit outside the front of his store. ;)

I absolutely love Barry and his excellent service. I decided to bring my 3 year old Yorkie to Groom Your Fiend about 6 months ago after I became increasingly frustrated with our old groomer of 2 years. I would sometimes wait upwards of 5 HOURS (!!!) for a basic wash and cut for my very friendly and generally calm dog. I decided to find another groomer and stumbled upon Groom Your Fiend while walking in the neighborhood. I’ve since returned 3 times and am so pleased and relieved I found a trustworthy groomer. I am a little paranoid of my dog being in the care of others but Barry provides fast, efficient, hygienic and professional care and I could not be more thrilled and appreciative of his service.

Well I just recently moved to Houston and Max has been getting baths at home so far… Cant find anyone as friendly, loving or caring as Barry :(He knew exactly how to handle Max (he thinks he’s grown and can do what he wants) and would always maintain control without making Max scared or excessively hyper. He would hold him firmly and say «No» right into his eyes Idk he’s like a dog whisperer lol.
I have stepped into a few local places to get a feel but still havent really cared for any place in particular. Same goes for vets smh have visited 2 and did not like. Luckily Houston seems to be the pet capital of the world so there are 100’s of other places to try sighhhh

Barry is seriously one of the most knowledgeable, caring, and well prices groomers you could ever hope to find in the New York City area. I searched and searched until my eyes practically bled and I couldn’t find someone I felt safe leaving my 3 cats with and Barry has been SO accommodating and sweet to my animals.
You can tell he really does care about his clients and more importantly their pets. And I have 3 long haired Persians so my cats are not easy to groom but every time no matter how matted or difficult they are he does a great job. If you have a dog or a cat I would highly recommend taking them to Barry. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

What a fabulous job Barry did with my very hairy Portuguese Water dog. He looks great, smells great and was not traumatized. Barry works fast but the result looks like he worked all day. I have always had trouble with my dog’s ears. They are very hairy and must be cleaned or he will get infections. After he is groomed, he shakes his head for days His ears are so raw and uncomfortable. I couldn’t believe it. His ears are so clean, no hair and no redness. They smell great and the dog has not shook his head once. They are not irritated. I don’t know what Barry did, but it is a beautiful thing. I just cannot say enough. My dog is 13 and has been getting groomed every 6 – 8 weeks for his whole life and this is by far the best grooming experience yet and Barry is in my neighborhood. Recently opened his own place. I gather he worked for another shop locally. I just moved here so it was before my time. Your pet is in great hands here. He is caring, knows what he is doing, works quickly and does a great job. You can feel safe and confident bringing your pet here. I could not be more pleased.
