Dr. Heller is awesome. I find it extremely difficult to find a good doctor in New York, especially given how saturated the city is with doctors. Dr. Heller is very down to earth and truly listened to my ailments. He used a device to measure muscle tension and just after one adjustment from him I felt better. I am going to continue to go back and recommend him to anyone looking for a great chiropractor.

Jay is, all puns intended, a hands on kind of person who by coincidence is a great chiropractor. Very well scheduled and thorough. Chiropractic works.

Easy to make an appointment, thorough exam and results. Glad to have finally found a chiropractor I’m willing to return to on a regular basis.

My husband has been going to dr Heller for awhile and always raved about him. I unfortunately threw my back out last week so also had to go and see him, first time ever to a chiropractor. I was nervous and in agony and thought it would hurt like heck but he was so gentle it was like going to a spa ! So relaxing but effective and i felt better after the first visit. The entire office staff are soooo nice and put up with my rowdy kids and had a good laugh with them and dr heller is so friendly and experienced and just a great experience overall. Highly recommend !!!

I was very frightful of going to a chiropractor but after injuring both shoulders and having chronic pain, and after seeing multiple doctors who just offered more and more drugs, I wanted something natural.
Not only is Dr. Heller fantastic, patient, and knowledgeable his staff is welcoming, concerned and capable. It’s a real pleasure going to his office.
Plus, the pain has reduced greatly. it used to be i was in pain 90% of the day. Now, I’m uncomfortable about 10% of the day, and some days have no discomfort at all.
I am a female and have to say — he is a gentleman and a kind man who takes his work seriously.

I went to see Dr. Heller very last minute on a Monday morning after I hurt by upper back and neck over the weekend. I could barely move and the pain was making it hard for me to even breathe. His secretary was very friendly and got me in right away. He could tell I was in a lot of pain and kindly helped me into an examining room where he found the problem and got to work. He was very helpful with explaining everything he thought was wrong. After my adjustment I felt much better but still not 100%, the damage was that bad. He invited me to come back again later that day for another adjustment and have it be included in my first copay. After the second session I felt great. Went home after and had a good nights sleep and after slowly working out the muscles myself I felt great.
I read a review that someone said as a woman she felt uncomfortable with him. I’m a 25-​year-​old female and I was more than comfortable with him. He explained everything he was about to do and was completely professional. Sorry if that person felt otherwise.

Dr. Heller is a true healer for both body and soul. I’ve been going to him for at least 15 yrs. He makes you feel like family and treats you as such. I have a back problem for many years and every time I come running to him in pain he immediately addresses the issue with soothing calmness and humor to beat. Within minutes the pain is diminished and I’m breathing a sign of relief. I always leave with a smile on my face from one of his ridiculous jokes and feeling of being well taken care of. LOVE HIM!

Dr. Heller is the best! I’ve had back problems for ages and I noticed a drastic improvement once I started to see him. He is very professional and genuinely cares about his patients. He takes a holistic approach to improving his patients’ lives and cares much more than just realigning their spines. For example, he’ll take the time to speak about one’s diet and give samples of different protein shakes — all in an effort to improve day to day life! I find it’s rare when a doctor actually takes the time to figure out the root causes to a problem and Dr. Heller does that! I’ve recommended friends who are patients of his and have only great things to say about him too. Go see Dr. Heller, your body will thank you.

Dr. Heller, while he makes good adjustments, is a rather creepy person in an odd office. Not only does he have sexually offending jokes on the walls, he also crosses the lines with his female clients. I felt not comfortable with him from the beginning, and in our fourth session he kissed me on my cheeks, which was completely unprofessional and was clearly crossing the doctor/​client boundaries. He is clearly a creep and I would not suggest that younger females go to him. Needless to say, I never returned.

I have been to chiropactors since 13 years old my cousin was a chiropactor I have been too at at least two bad ones in my life Dr Heller is top of the line You will not be disapointed Very gentle but gets the adjustment done uses heat and massage befor adjusrnment whis is very helpful

Dr Heller is a miracle-​worker. If you are in any kind of pain — he will be able to help you. I’ve tried massages and acupuncture for back pain relief and they are no match to the skillful hands of Dr. Heller. I was referred to Dr Heller about 5 years ago and he is the first and only Chiropractor I will see. He runs a clean and cozy office; he and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable and I believe they accept most insurance policies. His office also offers other wellness care products and services — it’s the kind of place you want to keep a secret but have to tell others about because good, attentive, personal medical care like this is hard to find.

Dr. Heller is an essential part of my fitness routine! I began seeing him in November when a bad fall left me with severe neck pain and vertigo. Since then he has treated almost every physical ailment that I have with a variety of techniques. We began with adjustments to relieve my neck and upper back pain. Although an adjustment can be uncomfortable, the results are simply fantastic. One back adjustment that takes 30 seconds gives me relief that I couldnt get from daily back massages. After he fixed by back and neck he began using Cold Laser to treat the torn ligaments in my ankle. I have felt significant pain relief and improvement with the Cold Laser, and even convinced my husband to try it on his arthritic knees.
Most recently, I have been suffering from Jaw pain. I spoke with my dentist and my sports med guy but no one really offered any viable solutions. I casually mentioned it to Dr. Heller and he did a pressure point technique that relieved the pain in 8 seconds!
Dr. Heller is an athlete so he really understands my drive to get healed quick. He believes in Total Wellness so he will sometimes recommend stretches, exercises, and supplements to help with strengthening and recovery.
I have sent many of my friends to see Dr. Heller after my positive experiences and they have all reported back with good results.
His office is clean and well maintained and he takes many different insurance plans and credit cards. He also has an acupuncturist and a massage therapist in the office but I would hold out for the good doc himself.
