This rating is strictly for the pizza. Love love love! It really hit the spot. I’m a little confused though as I could NOT find the Taco Bell. But that’s not what I was there to get anyway.

I can confirm that the Taco Bell portion of this deli has closed. The signage has been removed, so the removal appears to be permanent. Not sure why– T.B. was the main attraction in this space.

Taco Bell has closed making this place just another bad deli-quick meal for midtown workers, that for me has no redeemable value I am sad.

It’s hard to find a taco bell in midtown east. This one is hidden in the back of a café. They are quick and friendly and the place is very clean. I eat there pretty often and have never had a bad time.

Stopped in for some late night eats. I thought it would be Taco Bell, but that part was closed. What I got was some Very delicious pizza. This place is 24 hours.

It’s very difficult to notice the«Liberty Café» sign but inside the«Taco Bell», there is indeed a café that sells breakfast sandwiches and pastries for people on the-go. The Taco Bell station is in the back, fyi. There is hardly ever a wait at the Liberty Café counter since no one really notices this small sandwich/salad stop, which makes it a perfect spot to stop by when I need a snack or a small sandwich before going into the office. Yes, there are better options in the area including Treehaus and Ess-A-Bagel, but if time is of the essence, Liberty Café is a cheap and quick alternative. It’s more or less a cheaper Pax sandwich shop. It does not look clean and are hardly any seating, but don’t question it. Just grab-and-go! The Liberty Café section has a $ 5 card minimum but they do not adhere strictly to it.

I’m rating the Taco Bell only. I go to this Taco Bell about 2 times a month for Lunch — usually on Fridays. I can say that I’ve never been disappointed. I go to a Taco Bell knowing what I’m going to get. I want fast food, something cheap, tasty, and such forth. With that said, the Taco Bell is hidden in the back of the Liberty Café. Due to its growing popularity recently, the owners finally put a sign in front of Liberty Café saying Taco Bell. When you enter, you’ll initially think it’s Taco Bell Express, but they serve everything. The order turnaround is very quick and I have had no complaints. I’ve always ordered a mexican pizza(no meat) & nachos w/cheese. It’s been a staple of mine since I was about 6 – 7 years old living in NJ. They make me happy on a Friday afternoon and for that, I have 0 complaints. Is it the best Taco Bell I’ve ever had? No, but they’re good enough for me.

I remembered why I haven’t been here since my last review, it was because of the breakfast sandwich. I gave it another shot and ordered the same thing 2 years later. To my surprise, it was better and just the way I like it. Maybe the chef changed? The cheese finally melted within my sandwich, just that, and I’m a happy camper. Their sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin are just $ 1.99, great deal. They also have reasonable priced lunch specials like burgers and sandwiches. The short order cooks behind the counter are quick and friendly, be sure to make eye contact to get your order in. If you’re not into any of this, the Taco Bell in the back of the store might catch your eye.

their pizza definitely sits there and gets reheated quite a few times. it’s also ridiculously expensive at $ 5 a slide!

Believe it or not, at this combination Pizza Deli & Taco Bell, the pizza actually ain’t bad. The sicilian slices are a little thick on the dough, but it’s got a good texture. It ain’t Carmines but it’ll do when you’re in the mood. They usually have a sicilian pie of sausage and pepperoni too, for all you meat lovers out there.

This review is for Taco Bell. All Taco Bells taste the same, but this review applies to the SERVICE. The Liberty Café & Taco Bell online order site AND Seamless website BOTH state the following: Each item comes with 3 packets of sauce. Strike 1: — My brother and I order about 6 items. — 6 items x 3 packets = 18 packets — We receive 6 packets. Strike 2: — My brother and I again order 6 items. — 6 items x 3 packets = 18 packets — We even explicitly write on the«special instructions» portion of the online order site for EACHITEM that we want 3 packets of fire/hot/etc. sauce. — We receive 5 packets. Strike 3: — We call Liberty Café & Taco Bell after Strike 2 and complain that we never receive the correct amount of sauce even after we clearly indicated our preferences on our order to ensure they wouldn’t forget. — They apologize and say they will have one of their delivery guys send us more sauce. — It never shows up.

After living in the city for awhile, finding fast food chains can be a very special and almost nostalgic feeling. This hidden taco bell within a deli is so cool because it’s like going to a speakeasy, if bright orange gooey cheese were outlawed during some sort of strange prohibition. It could happen, we already lost our giant sized buckets full of soda. I love how, because it is hidden behind the deli, and you have to walk past a lot of healthy and/or actual food items to get to the good stuff. It’s a great taco bell too. In my experience they have filled some large group orders and gotten everything right, and they are pretty quick and friendly during the lunch rush. I was going to give it four stars just because it is taco bell and I shouldn’t be flipping out over it, but then I gave it the extra star because it is on seamless, which makes it absolutely perfect in my opinion.

Weirdest place to get Taco Bell. The Taco Bell is tucked away in the back of a basic New York bodega. I occasionally crave a run to the border and find myself here more times than I’m proud to admit. The doritos taco is pretty awesome. Other fabulously gross things to order: mexican pizza, bean burrito, and nachos with cheese. Now if New York would just get an Arby’s, I would have most of my guilty pleasures nearby. Update: The Taco Bell has since closed — tear.

Best Taco Bell I’ve EVER eaten. I’ve eaten a lot of Taco Bell in my day and I think everytime, they screw something up, either not enough cheese or just glopping one blob of sour cream in the middle of my taco, but this place is LEGIT. I got the nacho bell grande meal with rice instead of meat. EVERYSINGLECHIP had a mix of cheese, sour cream, rice and beans. My taco was slammin’ If you are going during lunch hour, I would say go early or later than noon. I got there at 11:55 and got a seat, but If you are going at prime time, you probably wont get a seat. It’s a strange location — in the back of the liberty café, but it’s super clean and comfy. 5STARSFORTHEBESTTACOBELLEVER! OLE!

This place is in the weirdest location being at the back of one of those generic midtown do-it-all delis, but I love it. The food always comes out quick and fresh. Plus, I have yet to receive attitude from behind the counter!!! I don’t eat fast food often, but the I thought that the whole ‘side order of attitude’ was something that comes along with fast food. Not here :) There are a few tables, not the fanciest of tables but what can you do. I like to take my stuff to Greenacre Park around the corner so the tables are not a deal breaker. I have ordered from the deli once and only once; it wasn’t so good. The 4 stars are for Taco Bell alone

Small Taco Bell located in the back of a deli. There are a few seats in the back. Food is just like any other Taco Bell in the city.

Great Taco Bell. The current BIGBOX is actually being sold for $ 5 here and not some jacked up Manhattan price of $ 8 or something. I was in a different taco bell on 8th Ave recently and they weren’t even offering the Box at all. Friendly staff here too!

This review is for Taco Bell, and not Liberty Café. I’m pretty sure I had written a scathing review of the Taco Bell here because I was in such an uproar about the entire package. The service, the food… everything. But I went back, because I am occasionally a glutton for punishment. The original review would have been one star. And I’d have given it zero stars if I could have. This time, however, the manager was on the floor with the other guys behind the counter. And maybe there is a new wave of employees there, but this time was a lot better. The guy at the register was jovial and in a good mood. Mr. Food Preparation was also on top of his game. This goes a long way. No, the food isn’t much better. However, I do appreciate the fresco menu, and the grams of fat in each. No, this still isn’t that good, but it’s better than it was.

What a weird little place. Open 24⁄7. I know I shouldn’t, but the Liberty Café gives me comfort. Seems like they should sell XXL White T’s, Hanging Pants, and faux Bling. Huge menu. Everything but sushi. Or did I overlook it?
