Dr Mel Marin is super knowledgable and thorough. She’s a listener. She understands and has a way of comforting you even though this may seem a bit tough. She’s great and her patients know that. If there’s a wait it is because she gives personalized attention to all her patients. She is not rushing you out… she is worth the wait and has been my GYN since 1997. The staff is also good. They’re happy and comfortable around each other. Very prompt and professional. They get the job done and thats what counts.

Poor attitude.

I don’t like many doctors, especially the ones that prod my delicate parts, but Dr. Marin is one of the best I’ve had. She’s very professional, thorough and nice (in a business-​like way), and she always remembers me even though I usually only see her once a year.
You may have to wait a little bit to see her, but it’s because she really spends time with each of her patients and goes over everything in detail. I highly recommend her.

I visited this office a total of four times and three of the four visits were terrible. Three times I was made to wait over an hour, even though I was there with an appointment and was the first patient there. The frontline staff gossip loudly about their personal lives and what’s for lunch, and when you ask them why you’re being made to wait so long they give they roll their eyes and give you the pat excuse of «there was a patient emergency.» During one of these «patient emergencies» I could clearly hear the doctor talking over the phone and laughing in the room next door. It’s a terrible place to go when you have an appointment, do not go there if you have an urgent concern.

This office provides professional service from your welcome at reception to medical attention provided. Appointments have always started within 10 minutes of schedule. I was a patient of Dr. Marin’s for a few years until my company changed insurance plans. It’s been 2 years and I have yet to find a doctor who compares. For each appointment she updated my personal/​family medical history convesationally, explained results of exams as she went along, told me about exams or lifestyle changes I should consider. Sent summary of exam results in the mail after every appointment so you can maintain your own history. Truly full service, competent, attentive care. Dr. Marin is very approachable and welcomes questions from concerned, pro-​active patients.
