One star too many. Have never seen a more unprofessional staff and hostile environment. I went to see Dr. Jasper knowing that she accepts my insurance. The genius assistant put my husband’s name as the patient (GYN office?). Medical Insurance and laboratory claims rejected. Instead of rectifying the mistake got total none cooperation from the staff. The lab called them 10 times trying to change the name without any call backs.
Jennell in the billing has no clue how to talk to patients or get the payments processed.
Rude, incompetent and so much more on the negative side … If she hears something not favorable to her — starts raising her voice and hangs up the phone… Does whatever comes to her mind.
I tried to get Dr Jasper’s attention in the matter and got replies that nothing is wrong with the office personnel’s conduct. Using the patient’s portal is pretty much the only way to contact them. I wrote to Dr. Jasper and Jennell replied??? I do not know if Jennell or Dr. Jasper replied to my medical concerns?
I’ve got emails and statements from the office requesting payment for the services (overcharged) and unfortunately paid a part of the fees from my pocket. Finally I got their payment from my insurance company and when asked for a refund it took them over 3 weeks to send me a refund. Jennell stated that the office policy is for the Insurance check to clear? Are they real?
I WAS FIRED AS A PATIENT… The letter sent with the refund states that I am «FORMALLY DISCHARGED AS A PATIENT OF THIS PRACTICE». Signed by Dr. Jasper? Do they really think that I would want to see them again?
RUN AWAY. MESS You do not need the aggravation. Save yourself from dealing with nonsense.

I have been going to Dr. Jasper for the past 4+ years. I have found Dr. Jasper to be one of the most welcoming, professional, and endearing doctors I have had the good fortunate to have met. She genuinely cares and takes the time to listen to my concerns. At times completely unrelated to my visit. (Thank you Dr. Jasper). I had a confirmed appointment for 10:30am, was seen by 10:40am had my annual blood /​pap etc and was out by 11:15am !!
Dr. Jasper also has a new receptionist of whom I found to be very pleasant and equally professional. Her nursing staff compliments her and her practice. They are equally professional and make you feel at ease. No judgements !!

Dr. Jasper is such a wonderful doctor. She made me feel special and important the first time I met her. She is honesty and truly cares about your well being. She remembers me! Always! I actually get excited to our appointments. I recommend her to anyone! Thanks Dr. Jasper!

Waited almost 60 mins to see dr jasper and was not kept abreast of what the delay was about by her or her staff. Just kept me waiting. She expects 48 hours notice to cancel as so to not disrupt HER schedule but she has no regard for her patients. Plenty of other great doctors in this city. No need to waste time with this one.

My experience with Dr. Jasper and her staff was awesome. She is incredibly personal, which means she actually took the time to speak with me one-​on-​one prior to my check-​up to talk about my health, concerns and future family planning. She was pleasant, easy to talk to and genuinely cared for me as a woman and a patient.
Her staff was very speedy and personable. Overall a very good visit and I am happy to keep her as my main doctor.

Dr. Jasper is straightforward with a soothing bedside manner.
I have had to have some rather painful procedures at prior times in my gynecological history with other doctors, and when informed by Dr. Jasper I needed to have another one, I looked forward to it was great dread. Surprisingly, I felt no pain at all. Dr. Jasper has great technique!
Going to the gynecologist is never fun, but Dr. Jasper makes it as painless and stress-​free as possible. I highly recommend her. I feel my health is safe in her hands.

In my 20+ years of seeing different gynecologists, I have never found one as special as Dr. Jasper. She’s kind, patient, knowledgeable, compassionate and supportive. She’s everything every Dr. should be. I’m only bummed that she no longer practices obstetrics. Frown face. With a tear.
As for the office itself — the waiting room needs some of the chairs replaced as they’re pretty old and the reception area is a gobsmack of papers and files everywhere. The receptionist is nice though and, despite being a busy office, she’s pleasant to interact with. Medical office staff usually get a bad rap re: customer service. I’m originally from MN where everyone’s got smiles blowing out their ears but, in the 11 years I’ve lived in NYC, I’ve found that, if you’ve got a smile to offer the receptionist/​nurse and a little understanding for the high level of stress they’re dealing with, they’ll be just as pleasant with you as you are to them.

Of course it was about an hour wait for her at New York Physicians office on Madison Ave. But i saw she was rated in top doctors and really wanted a good GYN. She asked lots of questions and was thorough with her examination and her explanations of what to do next. I felt very comfortable with her and felt she was very knowledgable. Unfortunately my insurance next year doesn’t cover her so i won’t be able to see her again but i’d definitely recommend her as a GYN. They also have an online website called Relay Health where she can send you messages about test results which is handy.

Alas, alas, Dr. Jasper is no longer doing obstetrics. Now she only does gyn, but i’d bet money she’s as fantastic a gynecologist as she is an obstetrician. (One goes through quite a few gyn exams during obstetric care, and i had no complaints.)

I’m going to keep this short and sweet, because it’s a little weird to be «reviewing» one’s OB/GYN…but Dr. Jasper is fantastic, and I would highly, HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a new doctor.
