They now take credit card for the machines. Clean and busy. Try not to come during peak times… you will have to wait 15 – 20 min for a machine. VERY kind staff. They don’t use fragrance free detergent so you have to bring your own.

I have been coming here on and off for years. While I do like that they have new machines and use the laundry cards, they need friendly attendants. I was there yesterday and watch the morning laundry attendant(not sure what her name is) verbally abuse customers. She yelled at a woman because the woman did not ask her for help on how to use the machines, she yelled at another woman because according to her the woman did not ask her for help getting soap(which was completely untrue). She yelled at another customer because he used a «big bill»($ 10) to but $ 1.25 worth of laundry soap and yelled and rolled her eyes at me because I asked her to please convert $ 2 worth of quarters so I can add money to the laundry card. No one should be abused when they are spending their hard earned money.

Cash only, mellow laundromat that just remodeled and is really clean. Not many places to sit but great if you’re just there to do your wash and leave. Lovely, helpful staff.

This place is the pits. Every time I go I get yelled at by old black men that treat me like I’m 12. They have the most ridiculous rules and charge SO much for a washer when they’re not even nice! The only reason I keep coming back is to establish a pattern of them harassing me. Come here if you want to be berated while you try to wash your clothes! And ask them to put up signs of all their ridiculous«rules». Literally no stars

Great laundromat. I love that they are so quick with drop off service and they are open late. My clothes always smell and look great. After awhile you get to know certain key staff that are a pleasure to work with. Always polite and greeting me with a big smile. I think that is something that makes a difference. I just feel like I can trust these people with my clothes. Since they renovated the place it feels like a more comfortable experience. For a small neighborhood laundry mat this place is great.

I’ve been using this laundromat and its drop off service for a few years. I’ve tried the other laundromats in the area and none of them really compares. I’ve recently moved to Westchester and I still travel to Harlem to drop my laundry off. The drop off service is efficient and reliable. My clothes are always neatly folded, handled with care, smells amazing and any specifications I may have are always met. There is nothing like getting back clean, fresh smelling laundry that I didn’t have to do myself. The management is great and are always willing to fairly solve whatever issues may arise. The newly renovated laundromat is better than ever and continues to offer good service. I’ll continue to support this local business.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and I really like this spot. It’s very clean and the machines work well. As with any Harlem spot, there is always comedy. The other neighborhood options are depressing. I give 4 instead of 5 stars because I’m on the fence about the drop-off service. This is 2015, every laundromat should offer hypoallergenic and environmentally friendly washing solutions – yes, even in Harlem.(And even if you have to pay more. Just offer it.) Besides that, it’s nice. Ms. Carol is a full of laughs, and Gary, the owner, is very friendly.

This place is amazing! I just moved out here and I was recommended this place because it was clean and had an amazing service. Both of those were true! Whenever I come in Virginia greats me with a smile and makes sure that I have everything that I need. The drop off service is fairly priced and they are efficient and handle your clothes with care. To add onto the service they just FULLY renovated the entire place! Thumbs up for me!

I can’t attest to the quality of their work because I walked out when the old man working there got snotty with me. Because I dared to wait while he continued his conversation with one of his cronies. Walk the extra block to Aphrodite. It’s slightly more expensive but the guys who work behind the counter are lovely.

Doing your own laundry is fine but DONOT use drop off unless you want to deal with workers who hate their job and give you attitude for NO reason. Horrible customer service. We all have bad days but there is NO excuse when you work in the service industry. I will never use drop off again. So sad…

Really uneven drop off service here, I have gone when the people are nice and my laundry has been done well and I’ve gone when people are shittastically mean and it looks like they just folded my laundry and didn’t wash it. Last time, I am sure it was the latter.

Our local laundromat is very basic. The drop off service has always been reliable and it’s around $.60 a pound. Its lacking in cleanliness, working machines, and service, though those have seemed to improved after the closed for a bit this summer. Its a nice alternative to the higher priced drop-off services in the neighborhood.
