I used to go here often and the food was good. I stopped going here after getting ill from a slice of pizza. It was towards the end of the day, so the slice I ordered must have been sitting out for too long.

I hate to write negative reviews, but please this is not pizza. All I want in my neighborhood is a good pizza place and the is horrible. People from the Middle East do not know how to make pizza, I’m sorry but it’s true. Not recommended

Ick! Unilocal is listing two Pizza Plus restaurants both on 9th, within blocks of each other. The pics for the other listing seem to match this restaurant. But I definitely was between 48th and 49th. I’ll double check within the next week to make sure I got the right one. GRODY! This place has a «GRADEPENDING» health rating and boy oh boy did they earn it! In fact, I’ll help the dept of health and mental hygiene out and tell them to give this place a C. Roaches folks! The likes of which I’ve never seen — even in the Port Authority, circa 1990. Seriously, the roaches here should be paying rent they’re so big. At least three scurried past. I use the word ‘scurried’ loosely because they were so large and bloated they actually labored past me. So gross! And here I refer to the pizza NOT the roaches. They should be ashamed to serve that pizza in New York. Lackluster. Flavorless. Oily for no reason. My taste buds are still upset with me. And you may wonder, how did this pizza snob even end up eating at this painfully generic pizza place? I overshot my original destination by a few blocks and was too tired to walk back down. Kids; lesson learned. Laziness is harmful especially when it comes to having a decent slice on 9th.

I don’t like the feel of this place. I ordered pizza and dessert here, and they a) put in 10 times the amount on my credit card and then b) attempted to charge me double for my meal. I had to argue 5 times before I pulled out my iPhone calculator to make calculations in front of them. Numan was my cash handler, and I will never trust this establishment with my money. The food is okay, but check your credit card bill and change after.

blehhh. I think this place made me more sick after my flight. Very oily product, the dough was not all that tasty. Not great on customer service either.

We got there around 1am before the drunken rush for pizza. It was empty but I noticed the place was clean and had comfortable tables. I had a pepperoni and sausage slice. It has a nice crust with a little crunch on the bottom from the hot oven. The toppings were plenty with every bite snagging a pepperoni. The staff was okay not friendly but not rude. I will return if in need of another late night slice.

My go-to drunk pizza place in Hell’s Kitchen. Big slices, lots of seating, and quick service. But the prices are a bit steep. I guess they know that drunk fools such as myself won’t mind forking over a couple extra bucks for a slice to wash down my vodka. C’est la vie!

Good pizza — can’t complain. Service was fast and toppings were varied. Probably a great place to get a late night snack after a night of fun.

Once every so often, my pangs of hunger trump my sensilbility to check the reviews on Unilocal. This was evidently the case this past Saturday night, when my appetite and I(and my friend) walked through the doors of Pizza plus. Oh fellow Unilocalers, how right you are about this dough dungeon. My friend and I both had a slice of margherita pizza, thinking that it would constitute a «one topping» sllice. After all, it only had a speck(and I mean literally – one speck of basil– on each slice), Instead, it was a «two topping» slice and ended up being 8 bucks for two slices. That is $ 4 a slice! FOURDOLLARS A SLICE for old, stale, sparsely topped pizza served by two guys who looked like they wanted to be anywhere but Pizza Plus. I can’t blame them. I wanted to be elsewhere too after this financial ripoff! There are dozens of pizza joints up and down 9th(and 8th) avenues. Go to any of them instead. I whole heartedly agree with Adam M. who wrote, «I see no reason for anyone to go here». Follow the advice of wise Unilocalers and you’ll be spared! Otherwise, you’ll end up with Pizza Plus dissapointment and regret

Ok, I can get past the shitty service and mediocre pizza. But then I saw a rat there. Not a mouse, an effing rat. That is entirely unacceptable. Avoid this place like the plague, because it’s more than likely to give you the plague. There’s an Uncle Mario’s up the street a few blocks and a Two-Boots down the block. I see no reason for anyone to go here. UPDATE: I’m pretty sure the owner is sleeping here…

Went in after a concert at Irving Plaza. Got a slice. Was pretty good. Fairly large slice(costing $ 3 if I remember) with good sauce, a fair amount of cheese, and a nice cracker thin crust. I was in the mood for a thin crust at the time, if I wasn’t I may not have enjoyed it as much. Not the best slice you’ll ever have and not the worst. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but I wouldn’t think twice about going in if I was in the area.

My first walk up pizza by the slice spot here in the city and it was damn good! Can’t say it’s my favorite I’ve ever had, but it was quite tasty! As big as my head and filled my starving belly! I’ll definately be scooping up another slice before I head home!

As far as pizza by the slice goes, this pizza is harmless. I had some sort of veggie slice with no sauce, lots of tomatoes, a little bit of cheese, and two pieces of basil. All in all, it was fine. Having been burned by bad pizza in this city, I came out OK at Pizza Plus.

Just walked in with an empty stomach and it was a BIG disappointment. Pita sandwitch(supposed to be hot) & fries were cold after waiting for 25+ mins. It was one of the worst dishes I’ve had in my life… Coke was flat!

me: it looks like that crap pizza place is opening up a new location husband: ok. let’s not go there months later– husband: pizza plus is open til 5am me: let’s go now After more experiences than I’d like to admit at Pizza Plus past midnight, I can genuinely say this is an OK slice of pizza. The guys that work there are beyond douchebags, and the after hours crowd is unbearable. The prices are too high and the quality isn’t particularly good. BUT they are open when you need them, and they really do hit the spot. They are generally my last option for late-night food, but they are reliable and the food isn’t poison so… 2 stars!

An OK slice of pizza. Went here after a Broadway show looking for a decent slice, and while I came away full, my taste buds were by no means excited. On the upside, the place is clean, modern and they stay open until 2am.

A uniquely clean and spacious pizza place– lots of room to sit. Pizza is ok– the sauce is sweeter(more like marinara sauce) and the crust is a little doughier than a typical NY slice. Good spot for midnight slice, when other places are closed. The guys working there are really nice and the service is quick.
