I purchased my gown last year, end of August. This wedding was planned in a very short period of time, thus i did not have too much time to shop around. I checked out Sarah and another bridal boutique in NYC and after a few days I went back and tried again the gown i liked and i picked Nolita right away. I had a great experience and I can not be happier that i picked the gown in less then a week. The gown was made on time, i ordered it only like 3 – 4 months before my wedding reception and it was absolutely beautiful when i picked it up. I also have to mention, that I was one out of only a few brides that they worked with –who was pregnant. By end of August i was 2.5 months pregnant and Melissa was so helpful in every way to make the dress fit for me which it did just fine. I just had one little note on the side. I wish it could’ve been only Melissa that i had to work with– the change in stylist was a bit of a drawback… every time the salon contact me a different person was dealing with my case– I wish this would have been only one person, it would have made this experience a bit more personal. Otherwise, great job ladies and wish you a great new year in 2016.

I’ve been engaged for a year and a half and just recently set my wedding date… for December of this year. Wedding planning has been an overwhelming experience for me. The only thing I knew for certain was that I love my fiancé and I love Sarah Seven gowns. It didn’t seem like these beautiful dresses would fit into my budget but since it was the only designer I’d lusted over, I knew I had to at least try them on. My mom and I made our way to the SoHo flagship and were greeted with a glass of champagne by the store’s manager, Farron. With champagne in hand and Ben Harper humming from the speakers, we began our search for ‘the one.’ After a few misses, Farron selected the perfect gown for me! The romantic ivory stunner was exactly what I was looking for. The best news? Complimentary alterations kept me within budget and a rush delivery means I’ll have my dress in time for the wedding. Thank you again, Farron. You were an absolute delight to work with!

I’ve been a fan of Sarah Seven since discovering her on Etsy 4 – 5 years ago, so when I found out she had opened a NYC flagship I booked a wedding dress appointment right away. Why not? I’d already booked some other dress appointments at well-known bridal boutiques like Lovely and Gabriella, but Sarah Seven was my first stop. I tried on 5 – 6 dresses that were handpicked for me, and lemme tell you: I bought the first one I tried on. It was ridiculously easy(it also helps to know what you want). Sooo, my wedding dress saga lasted about… an hour? They took care of tailoring in-house and I was so happy that I even bought a shorter reception dress to wear for late-night partying. Highly recommended!

I just purchased my dream dress here last month after my second visit this Sarah Seven. I had seen the dress I knew I wanted online, but rather than trust my gut the first time, I planned a second trip to New York to check out other bridal shops. I couldn’t believe how different the bridal salon experience could be from store to store. Sarah Seven was the only place I visited that only books 1 bride per appointment. They were the also the only ones to provide champagne, and Farron was extremely flexible in working around my schedule to fit me in. She has been a dream to work with! When I questioned whether I liked the design on the back of my dress, she texted Sarah who immediately came back with the perfect suggestion on how to «re-work» it a little. I’m so excited to fly back for my fittings in the spring! One other huge perk is that all fittings are included in the cost of the dress. LOVE this place! My only critique is the building is hard to find, and once you do there’s no easy way to know what floor they are on. One suggestion would be to add the floor number to your website. Other than that, you are perfect!

Checked out Sarah Seven with my sister and a couple of friends when I was looking for a wedding dress for my May 2016 wedding. I was looking for something modern but pretty, and nothing too formal, and Christine expertly helped me to navigate the custom and ready to wear options at SS. There was a slight glitch in communication afterward – I had to email the showroom a couple of times in order to get pricing details – but eventually Farron picked up the thread and helped me to settle on my final picks. Alterations are complimentary, and the quality of the materials seems to be top notch. I also love that they have plenty of fashion-forward options for women who aren’t interested in the beauty pageant/pretty princess look. I’m going in for measurements this afternoon and can’t wait to get my dress in several months’ time!

I haven’t yet received my dress, so this review is strictly for my experience purchasing my dress. I had purchased a dress elsewhere that I realized just wasn’t right for me, and made an appt at Sarah Seven about 6 months before my wedding. I arrived at the sunny and gorgeously decorated showroom was greeted by Jackie, who was as lovely as can be. She very patiently browsed the dresses with me, and then assisted me in trying each one on. I decided on the«La Vie», and couldn’t be more excited for it to arrive! Jackie was very apologetic about not having any champagne to celebrate, but my friend and I honestly couldn’t have cared less. I mentioned to Jackie my concern about the negative Sarah Seven reviews I had seen from a few years ago, and she assured me that Sarah now has a full production team to assist her, and that dresses arrive on time and completely finished. I will report back once I receive my dress, but I have faith that everything will be fine!
