It’s usually good in there with fast service but today it was horrible The line workers and assemblies of the sandwiches were good quick and patient However when I got to the cashier and paid for my six dollar classic I gave her a $ 20 bill I asked for a receipt and I got $ 11.01 change from a $ 20 bill!!! I inquired further about why I couldn’t get a receipt and got a vague answer Luckily I was smart enough to count my change then I notice strangely enough it was $ 11.01!!! So I politely asked the girl behind the cash register is this the change that I get from a $ 20 bill for 6 inch classic $ 11.01? She was surprised and genuinely flabbergasted! She counted the difference out loud and gave it to me she was apologetic but I have to kind of wonder if this was a genuine mistake or if it was some type of scam to put extra money in somebody’s pocket that’s working there since you don’t have a receipt machine working I have seen is had many other places before where your bill is something with a $.99 on it and they always keep the penny! If you do it is 100 or 200 times a day it adds up to a nice amount of money for the store or for the purpose of person working the cash register I’ve been seen a pizza shop in the same neighborhood on second Avenue use my debit card and charge me I ridiculously high a price then it actually cost for two pizzas and soda. Most New Yorkers are very savvy shoppers We like a discount we like a deal we don’t mind paying the actual price We don’t like the sense of maybe being ripped off or cheated or too many mistakes with all hardware on Monday

I can’t believe they’re still doing business. I’m told during the week they don’t always follow the hours on the door. I guess not! Why bother opening 8am. Since Subway is number one in fast food I guess I don’t need to worry about it closing. I get my sub and go home. The pathway to get to it changes daily! Thanks 2nd Avenue subway construction!

Whoever designed this Subway needs a hard slap in the face. You have to squeeze through an area narrower than my kitchen(which believe me, is a designing feat of its own) behind the people to get on the line to order. And since they move as fast as turtles on muscle relaxers, the line is always winding around and everyone is bumping into eachother. Plus, one time when I stopped in, they were out of bread. Seriously.
