The dish I usually order, jalapeño popper shrimp tacos, is no longer on the menu. Which makes me sad. But I did get their tuna tacos the other day and it was equally as good. Tasty food with a great ambiance where the crowds are not too loud. However, I do wish their prices were a tad cheaper.

I had the breakfast quesadilla. I think this restaurant does a good job with the food. It’s tasty but not anything in particularly special. I also don’t love the format of the restaurant. I think they’d be better of doing a full service restaurant. In a pinch, I’d definitely go back but not anything I’d mark to return to try.

I love the Americana touch to this place. I love, love to come here for brunch. The service is super fast, the portions are impressive, the potato fries are crispy & the coffee is strong!!! 5 Stars!

Cute spot. Nice servers. Solid variety of breakfast items. Two stars for ambiance = great. The food was OK. The omelette lacked flavor(needed salt or to be cooked in butter). Side of noooo… Frozen breakfast potatoes? I wish they offered jelly with your toast, but since everything is self-serve, you have to ask for everything that’s not already out. No one really checks on you after you’re seated to make sure you’re satisfied. I’d add a star if the servers checked-in at least 1x. Wish the servers went the extra mile, by greeting people with high energy or sincere smiles and recommendations, but I just felt like the restaurant was just coasting along, rather than putting effort to create loyals.

The Grey Dog was a very nice surprise. I have only tried this location. You have to order at the bar first and once your order and payment is done you can go to your table and they’ll bring all the food to you once it’s ready. The food wasn’t the best I have tried but it was honestly very good and the prices were reasonable. I think it’s a good place for groups, friends, family, couples, even kids. We enjoyed the brunch and the service was helpful. They have a lot of different plates! Veggie burger was good. They only serve pasta from 5 which I didn’t really understand as it’s a good choice for lunch for many people.

One of the nice places i have been in nyc! This place is cool, i love the decoration and the music they have inside. I was there gor breakfast and it was really big portion and with a cup of tea 20 $ is a reasonable price. I totally recommend!

Cons: 1. No liquor only beer and wine 2. The fast food type set up where you order at the counter does not fit the area or atmosphere 3. It totally disturbs your meal when some guy walks out with a plate of food yelling«Jennifer! Jennifer! JENNIFER???» Then moments later«Dave! Dave! DAVE???» It is just a bad system. Just do table service like everywhere else. 4. Crisps instead of fries came with my husbands Cuban. It might just be a personal preference, but I hate it when fries do not come with a sandwich 5. I tipped WAY to much because I expected some, ANY kind of table service BUT literally got nothing. 6. You have to get up and get your own utensils as if it was McDonald’s?!! Pros: 1. My salad was tasty

Its hard to rate a place by its food only so my 3 starts is based on the flow /décor/confusion. I walked in and even though they were fully staffed no one even acknowledged us so finally we just sat ourselves down. The place comes up as kid friendly but they dont even have a kids menu or a place you can leave your strollers. After findning the menu and finally going to the counter to place your own order you realize you just paid 81 dollars for 3 entrees and 1 appetizer(really ??) With these prices they can hire a host and servers. Food was great cant cut them short on the food review. everytging was on point… BACKOFTHEHOUSEGETSALLTHECREDIT

Self service restaurant. Very good! Big portions, amazing sweet potato fries. I tried their #7 sandwich, a house favorite: turkey, apple, brie cheese and raspberry mustard! Interesting flavor but I expected more. Still a 4 star for its trendiness. It kind of defines New York in many ways, being in this little hidden street in Soho. Love it and would come back.

Breakfast: Nothing spectacular. The scrambled eggs were weird. The granola yoghurt w. banana and berries were average(«berries» = sliced strawberries). Coffee was bitter. Couple next to us left their plates almost untouched(scrambled eggs and fruit). Would go another place next time. Atmosphere is nice.

This place is pretty mediocre, but not bad. I came here with my boyfriend recently, after a day of shopping in the city, and we stopped in to get lunch. The service was great and the inside is very cute and a great place to grab a bite. Their menu is cute and chalked on the walls and they have a nice selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. But after trying to sit down at 3 extremely wobbly tables, myself and my boyfriend gave up on our drinks not spilling onto the table every time we shifted our weight or moved in our seats. They had nice seating options, but FIXYOURTABLES. And even though you order at the counter, you get someone that brings the food right to your table, served on dine-in plates and tableware and you aren’t pressured to leave once the bill has been dropped(because you pay first). Their credit card machine wasn’t working that day, so we had to pay cash, which was fine, just annoying, since we both had to peel through our wallets and empty them out as we don’t typically carry cash on us. My boyfriend had a BLT and sweet potato fries and I had a cheeseburger with regular fries. They were both okay — neither of us were impressed by them. Diner style food in my opinion and not entirely worth the price tag. We spent almost $ 40 on a BLT, a cheeseburger, and two draft beers. We could’ve gone to a bar and gotten a happy hour special and probably the same quality of food for cheaper. It was a nice place and cool to relax after a busy morning, but I wouldn’t go out of you way as it really isn’t offering anything special.

Summary: not that good especially if compared to other Gray Dogs(or other brunch places in the area). NOTE: Brunch is served only if you place your order by 3.00 pm. No matter what time you come in and/or you have to wait to be seated and/or [ :) ] if there is a long line at the counter.

I really like the grey dog breakfast here and the whole vibe. The first time I came here the grey dog breakfast was amazing and came with fruit like blueberries. The second time I came here they just gave me two pieces of cantaloupe which was disappointing. It’s a decently good choice for breakfast in soho

Went to try this place out on Black Friday, thought there would be an insane wait because the line was out the door, but ended up getting seated relatively quickly. You order at the counter but they bring you your food. I really liked the way the whole restaurant is set up, it has a very casual and comfortable vibe to it. They have an extensive menu consisting of breakfast/brunch food. Everything sounded so good. I had trouble deciding what to get. But I ended up ordering the«Grey Dog». It certainly did not disappoint. It comes with either chips or if you want fries, it’s an extra $ 1. Their fries were alright, it gets a bit soggy after a while. But overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and would come back to try out their other options.

I wanted to try this place out for my early birthday dinner with friends. So I decided to pick this place. Came in the store and it was really big. It was self service and we ordered our food, then sat down at the reservation table since my friend made a reservation. We had to get our napkins, forks, & etc. by ourselves. Their employees were really nice. They were nice enough to refill our sauces. The food came out really fast once we sat down and got everything ready. I ordered The Veggie Parm and it was so delicious. I rate it 5⁄5 stars. It had a salad on the side with balsamic vinegar and once you mixed it in it tasted soo good! The meal itself was pretty tasty. It had meatballs and cheese inside. Seasoning was great. Although I like more sauce in my food, I added hot sauce and the balsamic vinegar that came with my salad. I didnt know that my friends bought me a cake and all the employees sang happy birthday to me and my friends. Thank you for the wonderful service. I am glad that I chose this place for my early birthday dinner. :)!!

MUSTCOMEHEREFORBREAKFAST! The moment you walk in, you get a table reserved by your server who’s in casual clothes and with a load of handkerchief like things. He will place it on the table you will be sitting and remove when you have settled. You order upfront. There is no waiter coming to your table and handing you a menu. It’s a new experience in which I love. You get to go up to the counter and browse all the cookies and muffins as you decide on what to order. The server is outgoing, easy to approach and will let you know the details. You order, pay, tell them your name, and sit at your table to wait for your food’s arrival. It’s a pretty laid back setting. I like how they are in their jeans and shirts yet they can carry out their tasks professionally. The food: Grey Dog Breakfast and their Omelette. It’s comes in a very large portion. The Grey Dog Breakfast I order had french toast, bacon, sunny side up eggs, sliced banana, blueberries, and some potatoes all on one big plate. Presentation wise, it looks tasty and delicious. The dish gave off a great aromatic scent. With this dish, you get salty and sweet. This dish is very delectable. The Omelette was already half the size of the plate. It was HUGE. It also came with sliced bread and potatoes. The omelette contained mozzarella cheese, spinach, and sausage. It was delightful. I also had their banana walnut muffin. It was a colossal muffin with lots of walnuts in every bite. The muffin had a great smell of banana and the walnuts just gave it that crunch. It was moist and sold out immediately. Although I couldn’t finish it(which was sad for me), I enjoyed it very much. I know all this sounds like a very heavy breakfast but it wasn’t at all. It’ll get going for your day with their luscious flavors. I strongly recommend the the Grey Dog Breakfast.

Salads on salads on salads. This location is as good as the others. I had the roasted beet and quinoa salad and my friend had the country style salad, though we ended up splitting. Both salads are great and super filling! For drinks, she liked her prosecco and my homemade lemonade was decent, if a little bland. I’ll be back!

Line up, order, take a seat and a waiter will bring over your food. Besides that, everything else is self-serve including the utensils, water, napkins and condiments. Great place if you’re looking for a quickie lunch that’s delicious and fresh! I came here with a friend and it was the perfect little place to eat and catch up. It is a smaller place so when it got a bit busy, I did feel some pressure to get up so don’t think of sitting here for too long since it is a pretty popping place. Got the quinoa beet salad and my oh my. I wish all salads tasted like this so I wouldn’t be so miserable trying to eat salad every single day. It was light, but full of flavor. I don’t know what the dressing was, but it was DELICIOUS! sweet, tangy and light, but it had enough punch to cover the bitterness of the arugula and make it taste good. I sound so basic raving about a salad, but it was on the better end of most salads I’ve had. I inhaled my food. My friend got the fish tacos and she enjoyed them too! Not fishy and I heard the crunch of her fish as she was chomping down. I would come back to try their other salads. Nice little place for when I’m trying to watch what I eat.
