Great coffee but SUPER HOT… Still sitting here 10 minutes after getting it and still too hot to drink … Haha
Also the donuts could be a little more fresh … This is Tim Hortons so I won’t go below 4 star … But donuts while tasty… We’re stale a bit

Next to Beer and Hockey, Tim Hortons is the third major religion in Canada. Now that they’re here I know why! My wife is from Canada, so when I heard they were coming here in 2009, I took her to the grand opening without telling her in advance. I hadn’t seen her that happy since our honeymoon! Anyway, Tim Hortons coffee is better than Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbuck’s in my book. The donuts are simply the best. We bought glazed donuts from Tim Hortons, Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Crème in Penn Station and tried them side by side. Tim’s won hands down. They were lighter, fluffier and tasted better! What I don’t understand is why the chain never advertised on TV or radio. I never have seen a single ad. Maybe that’s why they’ve gone from a dozen locations here in NYC to just three, and that’s a damn shame.

Its 1am and home sick, needed something Canadian to cheer me up, long and behold a Timmy’s, had the Ice cap something was not the same, I am guessing Tim’s gotta be served at home cause it just isn’t the same and taste wise way off. Donuts were old and hard but the bits were ok. It needs a Canadian touch.

Don’t go– it is not like the ones in Canada I ordered the #3– sausage, egg and cheese on English muffin and it was mushy and the hash brown was cold with burnt edges. They messed up on the donut labels so that made ordering extra frustrating. You are better off buying your breakfast from the street carts.

I don’t know what the fuzz is all about.
This place was ehh. We ordered ice café mochas. They were way too sweet. Maybe I didn’t order the right coffee. Who knows but it was not fresh nor did it taste good. :/

I love Tim Hortons (I’m from Canada), but this Tim Hortons kinda sucked…
The breakfast sandwich itself was pretty good, however the coffee wasn’t… And the service was so slow! It took about 5 minutes before getting served (we were the only people there) and another 10 minutes before getting our food and drinks.

My gf loves her some timms as a buffalo ex pat. This location was run down and messy. Shared space w some yum brand chains. Overall coffee was good especially if you need your timm fix.

I thought the service was great. I did go on a Sunday morning about 8am or so, not too many people in line, but still there was no issue with their service. I actually like the fact that they confirmed which donuts I wanted, and didn’t just pick what they thought I said. It was a woman and younger guy behind the counter, they were both very pleasant and he took the initiative to mark the top of one of the coffee cups with an ‘H’ for the Hazelnut coffee, so we would know which was which. I thought their service was great. Plus I think I saw Jack Rico, who I’ve seen on a couple of different shows reviewing movies, if it was Carrie Keagan, then it would have been a 5 rating!

I agree with what Ken T. said below. The service here is the pits. How many donuts are there to choose from? Nine? Twelve maybe? Seems pretty simple to keep track of. Especially when I’ve never seen more than 3 customers in there at a time. If you can’t find the correct donut that someone’s asking for, there is a serious problem. Last week I asked for a pumpkin donut. After looking them over for a comically long time, he finally reached for a plain donut. No. I had to stop him and point it out to him. (On a side note, I also doubt that do-​rags are part of Tim Horton’s uniform.) Today I asked for a boston cream donut. Different employee this time. I got to my office to find that she placed the donut upside down so all the chocolate was stuck to the bottom of the bag. Come on. This is not rocket science, here.
So yeah, the donuts are great. And there’s no line like you’ll find at Dunkin. But they really need to be a little more discriminating with their hiring process.

This Tim Horton is totally inferior. They only serve two flavors worth of timbits… what in good heavens is this blasphemy?!
Hybridized with Cold Stone, this little TH location is definitely not the best. They take a while with the orders and don’t seem to have many TH specialties [READ NO TIMBITS :(]. The coffee is okay, your usual Tim Horton brew. The donut that I ordered seem to come out pretty fresh.
Bottom Line: I don’t really care about coming back to this place, maybe if I was in the area.

Disgusting. I have been to Tim Horton’s in Canada and was excited to find out I could go there when I visited NYC, but it was a huge disappointment. There was no air conditioning so it was very uncomfortable, there were flies EVERYWHERE. I actually saw two land on some bagels that one of the employees had just left sitting out on the counter, when she returned to them, she put them in the case. The service was not terrible but could have been much, much better. Very dirty looking, stains all over the tables and crumbs all over the floor. Would not recommend going there. I hope some of the other NYC locations are better.

So upsetting to see people write about bad experiences with service because I came here when a man was working on Sunday night, he was soo kind and just overall a nice man! He did a great job with my coffee :) delish!

The service is pretty bad. I literally asked for a chocolate donut and pointed at the chocolate donuts. The lady then picked a maple donut so… In addition, the place has no air conditioning whatsoever so it was horrendously hot inside. With that said, the donuts were pretty darn good. Tim Hortons donuts are the good stuff and I will come back for the donuts, not the service.

The service is horrid but get the iced capp for sure! I always get this when I come visit this area. It’s a must. I can’t explain it. It’s just so dang good. It’s way better than a frappuchino. LOL. I should go back and try the donuts but I haven’t yet.

It’s almost unfair that I drank dunkin donuts all these years. Tim Horton where have you been all my life? The coffee is affordable, smooth, solid. The donuts are tasty but I am not much of a donut person. I liked the honey dip one, the dough is nice and baked fresh which is shocking because the location didn’t exactly inspire the belief of fresh baked goods. Def check it out if you’re in the neighborhood.

I remember loving Tim Horton’s hot chocolate and donuts when I was Montréal a few years ago. I only then wished we had locations in Chicago. Imagine my excitement when I came across this location walking distance from my hotel. I had one chance to stop in because I wanted a hot chocolate fix. It was as good as I remembered. Nothing else too memorable with this other than the location. It’s a great alternative if you don’t want to wait in the long ass line at Starbucks across the street.

Donuts are the BEST — hands down — wish we had this chain in Florida…
Was introduced to this product while on vacation in Canada a few years ago and fell in love… and do yourself a favor — have the hot chocolate on a cold day… mmmmmm

Took my girlfriend who was visiting New York here to show her how great Tim Horton’s are, but soon realized this was nothing like the ones in Vancouver.
Asked for the egg white sandwich combo and they said they were out of hash browns. This was at 12PM in the afternoon! What kind of Tim Horton’s runs out of hash browns. I asked if they could substitute it for a second coffee and they said no bluntly, only a donut.
I decided to scratch the combo and get 20 timbits, which turned out stale and dry. Nothing like Tim Horton’s in Canada at all.
The service here was awful. Rude server who wasn’t friendly, dropped my box of timbits, and didn’t give any napkins until I asked three times.
Overall a poor representation of Tim Horton’s compounded with poor service made this my worst visit to a Tim Horton’s ever.

This is a 3-​star Ho’s. It’s not in Canada, it’s not the region that is practically Canada, and it’s in NYC. So you’re going to expect crap service, and you’re going to expect that the donuts are prepared off site.
That being said, it’s close to my office and I can get my French Vanilla double-​double fix when I need to walk over. YAY TIMMY’s!
