Welcome to Uptown Pups Dog Walking! Founded by dog-​lovers in Washington Heights in 2014, we provide everything from regularly scheduled walks and playtime, to last minute check ins. We pride ourselves on building personal relationships with your dogs and giving them the individual attention they deserve. We additionally provide house sitting, and cat sitting services!

Hi! I am a transplant from Austin, Texas. I moved to the big city to study opera and graduated in the spring of 2014. I am a life-​long dog lover. I started uptown pups so I could have a job that I LOVE to wake up to every day, while still studying to pursue my career in performing.

Uptown Pups is wonderful. The price is great but the service is even better. I heard about Uptown Pups from a friend so I decided to give them a call and sure glad I did. I have a cat and was going out of town for a week. I just needed someone to come over and check in on her. They needed to make sure she had plenty of food and water, change the litter box, and spend a little time playing and brushing her. Devon was so nice and professional. She came over first to meet my cat and get my apt. keys. I knew I was in good hands and had no worries based on the initial meeting. While away, I received a video of my cat playing and a few pictures during each visit. When I returned, everything was perfect. She had plenty of food, I could tell her water was recently changed, and she was happy. I even received a Christmas gift in the mail with a little cat toy. I will be using Uptown Pups in the future for my cat and my «coming soon» pup! Thanks Devon!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I heard about Uptown Pups from my best friend, and decided to give it a try. I am one of those nervous pet owners and insisted on going on the first walk with walker Devon. She was sweet, kind, and knowledgable about what she does. My pup Barsa adores her. So she has my stamp of approval. Plus, great rates/​prices. Enjoy this company, they’re awesome!
