I would rate this bank as the worst bank in the city. Ran by a bunch of rude people that don’t want to do the job they are supposed to do. I wouldn’t recommend this bank to anybody. While standing waiting for someone to actually help me I witnessed the manager talk To a customer on the phone as if the person was dumber than she is. Then she slammed the phone down and processed to loudly speak about the conversation in front of other customers. The only reason I gave one star is because there isn’t a negative star option.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. I tried moving my money to a locally owned bank thinking that they would treat me as more than just an account number in a corporate bank. In reality they treated much worse than either HSBC or B of A at least those banks treat me as an account number whereas valley treated me like dirt.

I’m going to have to knock them down a star because of their hours.
They are open Monday-​Thursday 8am-​4pm
Friday 8am-​6pm
Saturday 10am-​2pm
Such limited hours will give the average person pause. My schedule is flexible, and I’ve even had trouble getting here when the bank is open.

This is my local bank in New Jersey so its really nice to have a branch convienantly located on the upper east side of NYC where my girl friend lives.
I’ve never actually been inside other than to use their ATM machines. But the bank seems very clean and safe.
