History

I am a born and raised New Yorker. Food has always been a big part of my life. I’ve always wanted to open my own restaurant but never know what kind I wanted to open and also didn’t have the money in 2000, I thought why not walk dogs to make money and figured an idea with the come to me about the restaurant. I ended up getting distracted with walking dogs and kind of push the whole restaurant idea aside. Friends and attendees at barbecues I would throw would always suggest I find a way to get my food out to the world, whether that was starting a barbecue team, opening up a restaurant, or starting a catering company. I figured a barbecue team and catering/​food vending company are both things I can do while still walking dogs. While vending at a local barbecue competition some KCBS judges I met suggested I sell my sauces & rubs which led to the creation of Walk​ing​Dog​BBQ​.com where you can order my sauces, spice rubs, & find out where I’m vending.
