Wellington Hotel

I spent the weekend in NYC to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. Someone back home recommended The Wellington Hotel so we thought we’d give it a go. Upon arrival we noticed the hotel was at a great location, walking distance from Times Square and many stores/​restaurants. The bellman was really kind, helped us with our bags and the valet parking. Check-​in was easy, again I think the staff was friendly and kind. I must say the hotel has an older look, definitely could go for a make over. The real fun started when we got to our room.
It was just my boyfriend and I, but the room was TINY. I thought I had booked a bigger room (by the look of the picture on the website. Looks are deceiving!) All in all, we only needed the room to sleep and hold our things, however we couldn’t get over how tight it was in there. The bathroom was the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen in my life. My boyfriend couldn’t even go in there and stand with his arms spread across wall to wall. The room had no fridge for some water and soda we had bought. No coffee maker or anything extra, besides a TV with lots of channels. I want to say that if we would’ve had one of the «better rooms» then maybe our stay would’ve left a different impression.
On day one we left to Times Square to eat and walk around. When we got back to our room we had issues with our keys. They wouldn’t unlock our door, we kept trying until we had to go downstairs and ask for help. The girl at the front told us that the locks «had to be reset» or something along those lines. It was a real inconvenience as we had an event to get to, and had to get ready. A «security guy» came to our door to help, however «he forgot his keys» so had to leave again. Before he left he said to my boyfriend & I that «this floor is a family floor, so remember to keep it down»… We had only been there for about 1 hour max. We couldn’t have possibly made any noise to disturb anybody. It honestly felt a little stereotypical because we are a young Spanish couple. If it was the «family floor» then why put a single couple on that floor? Lastly, when we got inside after our keys got fixed, it seemed like someone had been in our room. We never requested service, we actually had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. We could tell some things got moved around, our bathroom light was on, and even the channel was changed. We’ll never know if someone did go in or not, but it felt really untrustworthy. (No safe in the room!)
The most annoying thing about our stay was once again, the bathroom! The knobs for the showers are so old we couldn’t figure out how to get the water a decent temperature. It was either too cold or skin burning hot (not exaggerating) The Wellington definitely needs to upgrade!
Checking out was easy as well. We couldn’t wait to get out. The staff once again was friendly and helpful. All I can give this hotel is the location, and everything that’s nearby. If perhaps you don’t care about the things I mentioned then you wouldn’t mind staying here. Will not be coming back!

Weihnachten und der Jahreswechsel ²⁰¹⁵⁄₂₀₁₆ führten meinen Mann und mich in diese faszinierende Metropole. Wir bezogen also Quartier im Wellington.
Allbekannt ist ja, dass Hotels auf Manhattan-​Island grundsätzlich sehr preisintensiv sind. Doch dieses Hotel bat uns eine preisgünstige Alternative, dazu noch wirklich zentral gelegen. Und damit meine ich nicht nur die unmittelbare Nähe zum Central Park. :D
Von der 7 Av/​55^th West kamen in wenigen Minuten fast überall hin. Ob nun zu Fuß oder mit der Subway.
Am 23.12.15 checkten wir also ein und wurden wirklich sehr freundlich empfangen. Sofort wurden wir ungefragt in ein höherwertiges Zimmer eingebucht. «Nicht schlecht», dachte ich so bei mir. Das ging ja schon sehr gut los. :D Am längsten hat aber das Austellen der Frühstücksgutscheine gedauert, denn diese 18 Gutscheine wurden tatsächlich noch per Hand ausgefüllt. Wie offline ist das denn bitte? ^^
Die Lobby roch immer sehr angenehm nach Spekulatius. Jedoch nur bis nach Weihnachten.
Wir bezogen sodann unser Zimmer in der 21. Etage. Ja, es gibt wirklich keinen 13. Stock in einem amerikanischen Hotel! :P
Im Zimmer angekommen sahen wir dann das kostenlose Upgrade. Ein Kingsize Bett. So groß, dass es fast den gesamte Platz des Hotelzimmers einnahm und ich meinen Mann anrufen musste, um ihm eine gute Nacht zu wünschen. ^^
Diese riesige «Spielwiese» tröstete mich aber keineswegs über den abgewohnten Zustand des gesamten Zimmers und Bades hinweg. Ich hatte das Gefühl, wir würden in einem Zimmer der 1960er-​Jahre nächtigen, ohne dass hier je renoviert wurde. Das Bett war, für meinen Geschmack, viel zu weich und es gab auch viel zu viele Kissen, die ja dann doch nur wieder auf dem Boden landeten. Wozu das? O. o
Freies WiFi? Fehlanzeige! Rund $ 12/​24h sollte ich dafür latzen. Nein danke.
Das leise Piepen der Glühbirne ging mir bereits am ersten Abend gehörig auf’s Trommelfell, weswegen ich an der Rezi diesen Zustand monierte. Mir wurde zugesichert, dass dieser Umstand am nächsten Tag repariert werden würde. Doch auch nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen passierte nichts. Wir nutzten dann nur noch die Nachttischlampen. Ging auch so.
Die tägliche Reinigung des Zimmers wurde offensichtlich auch nur oberflächlich und nicht wirklich ordentlich vollzogen. Seifenreste und Haare waren jeden Tag noch sichtbar, nachdem das Housekeeping seine Runde absolviert hatte.
Das Frühstück, welches wir im Hotel integrierten, dennoch selbstständigen «Park Inn Diner» einnehmen mussten, war für mich eine mittelbare Katastrophe. Nicht nur, dass wir jeden Morgen anstehen mussten, um einen Tisch zu bekommen, auch hatten wir mit den Gutscheinen die Wahl zwischen Toast mit Eiern an Homefries (Bratkartoffeln) und Speck oder Schinken oder Würstchen, American Pancakes mit Butter und Sirup oder French Toast. Nachdem ich nach fünf Tagen jede Version des Frühstücks ausprobiert hatte, hing mir die «Auswahl» zu den Ohren raus… Kaffee gab es im «Free Refill» System soviel ich wollte. Für meinen Mann als Teetrinker gab es einen Teebeutel und heißes Wasser als «Free Refill». Einen zweiten Teebeutel gab es nicht. Echt jetzt??? -.-
Alles in allem war das Hotel okay und der Service freundlich. Ob wir jedoch hier nochmals einkehren werden, wissen wir nicht. Vielleicht nehmen wir das nächste Mal etwas mehr Geld in die Hand und gehen ins «Plaza Hotel» oder ins «St. Regis». ^^

Yes, the lobby is a bit small, but this is an older hotel. They have and are doing many up-​grades. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. It’s all in how you ask for things-​you be nice-they’ll be nice. That’s the way it should be. You can ask for a newer room. We did ask for a higher room (18^th floor with window on 55^th Street– very quiet)
Be patient with check-​in since the counter does get crowded, but all the desk clerks were so calm and polite! Yes, the room was a bit warm (we went Jan.18−21) – older hotel, older heating. We just turned off the heat and opened the window.
Our room did not have a coffee maker or ice bucket – we managed. We only stayed in our room to bathe, change and sleep. It is New York, so we were out and about!
They did hold my luggage for me and had a great system. I had the best time and will definitely go back! Oh, and book through the hotel site, and Wi-​Fi is free for two devices.

I stayed at the Wellington right after running the New York City Marathon. I wanted a budget-​friendly hotel near the finish line (Central Park) because I knew I wouldn’t want to travel far in a city that was already busier than usual thanks to the marathon, the World Series, and Halloween. The hotel was kind enough to store my bags, which a friend dropped off for me. Also, when I walked in — looking like a weary mess draped in my race poncho and medal — the staff upgraded me on the spot to a suite! I had a kitchenette, a massive living/​dining room, and a good sized bedroom and bathroom. The Wellington is definitely an older hotel that could probably use a makeover — the bathroom in particular was a little ragged — but it was quite comfortable and affordable given its location right in Midtown.
Highly recommended for those seeking a basic, no-​frills hotel while exploring Manhattan — it’s close to all of the greatest hits (Broadway, Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, museums, subways, etc.).

I check some infomation about Wellington Hotel online before i went there, saw some their page and photos about Wellington Hotel, it looked petty nice. When i got here, first impression was still alright, the lobby looked just like the pictures i found online. although the reception seem to be smaller than I expected, they were quite efficient, it didn’t take long, it already our turn. I came with my partner, we were going to stay here for awhile for holiday. after around 10 mins procedure, we got everything ready.
My first impression to the room we got were just alright. It did remind me most of the hotels in big city, for example in HK. The room itself wasn’t really big, but it still got a small closet room. The bathroom was a bit small for two persons and it didn’t has a window, when I lookaround, some small parts of the wall in bathroom were coming off. But together was still fine, it was quite
did take me to a short time to figure it out how to use the shower, since it was quite differet compared with more of countries Europe. well, it was fun anyway. The highlight in the room was the bed, it was really comfotable and the view of our room was also quite nice, it faced to the Times Square direction, pity that it wasn’t to the main steet.
For the breakfast of the hotel, we got some Breakfast tickets for that. location was at the Park Café which near the hotel, it was so difficult to find, it was just left side after came out of the lift. But pity that it got only really limited choice on the ticket, for something not inculded on the ticket, we had to pay me.
The hotel did not offe free wifi servive, they offed high speed internet through. But we didn’t get it, it was simply too
didn’T make scene to us, since we were going to stay here for long time. so We got a prepaid card instead.
At the end, I found the Wellington hotel was nice, its location really help us save lots of time to travel around. it was really closeto the Central Park and got lot thing going around. The staff were also quite friendly to us, during our staying. there are some parts in the room or the hotel itself can be improved. but again, I did enjoy our time there.

The hotel was generally not bad. It is closed to time square and some other sightseeing places. However, the wifi here was soooooooooooooooo terrible. Neither of my iPhone and my friend’s could get connected to the wifi. My iPad continually got disconnected. My friend wanted to play games during night but he was always struggling between disconnecting and reconnecting. That was so distressful. In addition, the wifi here was really expensive. The room was satisfying except for the WIFI so if you need to use Internet, please do NOT live here.

Fast and friendly service at the front desk. Aside from being innundated with check ins, they were helpful and even upgraded my room. I WILL come back here any time I’m looking to stay in midtown. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful!

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is its location. I arrived on a Monday night to find my room had no working air. The temperature outside was in the 70s so the tiny room was unbearably hot. When I called to let the staff know she told me to open a window because they take all ac units out of the rooms in the winter. Management said all they could do was offer us a refund. They didn’t try to accommodate us at all. Then it took over 30 minutes to get our car out of valet. Terrible customer service and over $ 150 a night is ridiculous to not have air included. I wouldn’t ever recommend this hotel to anyone nor would I ever choose to stay here.

Previous reviewers who complained about this hotel simply don’t get it. It’s not perfect; it’s «old» and «tired» and doesn’t have some of the amenities of a newer hotel. But the location and the people working here more than make up for it. Seriously. 2 steps to the subway? And a short walk to Rockefeller Center? Yes, please. A housekeeper who impeccably cleaned up after my teenage daughter’s whirlwind messes. Awesome. $ 100 a night in midtown Manhatten at Christmas time? Pretty darn close to perfect.
I’ll tolerate the itty bitty bathroom with tile that probably needs to be updated in exchange. I can live with a carpet that’s not brand new. Whatever. I wasn’t here for the room anyway. Will stay again.

WORST hotel experience of my life. No exaggeration, I had switched 3 rooms! First room had blood stains all over the sheets, second bedroom the magnet on the door couldn’t read the room card, third room which was an «upgrade» was near the laundry room is what it sounded like. I heard nothing but a boiler (It actually felt like a boiler room), the windows weren’t facing any direction but a building so the room was pitch black, shower/​bathroom was disgusting, there was still fecal matter left over in the toilet. I just could not take it. OH and it gets better… the outlets in the room were completely shot, I couldn’t charge my phone or get on y laptop. I was on a business trip and nowadays it’s rare to have to pay for wireless internet and they were charging $ 5/​hour. WTF is this dump. And every few hours it sounded like someone was hammering at a pipe (the heater). I think I got maybe 3 hours of shut eye. I recommend choosing any other hotel than this one. Don’t be fooled of it’s outside appearance or the location of the hotel. It’s terrible. They are using the age of the hotel (115 years) as a crutch/​excuse not to upgrade or renovate. AWFUL! I am doing you a favor.

I saw a young man piss in the elevator. The elevator got stuck and the child could simply «not hold it in». The atmosphere of the hotel gave me a «I’m about to be murdered» vibe, and the lack of natural light solidified my first impressions. Overall I didn’t die and the location was in New York so 2 stars.

It’s never an easy task to book a value hotel in the middle of Manhattan. You either end up in a dump or overpay. That’s why AirBNB is killing value hotel business in NYC. Just like Über with taxis.
Thankfully, Wellington Hotel turned up just fine. You just can’t beat the location. It’s perfect in any way. Just a few blocks from either Central Park or Times Square, so it’s safe to walk around at night and you have unlimited restaurants or deli options at any time.
It’s easily accessible via subway too, with a lot of commute options in a two blocks radius.
Ammenities were basics. You have no room minibar (fridge) and you have to pay for wifi Internet access. USD 5 per hour sounds like a ripoff at first but you can use up to 2 devices at once and both coverage and speed were fine. You can always go to the Starbucks across the street for free WiFi.
There is no safe available in the rooms, but you can use the ones in the lobby. They are free but you have to keep the key and there is a USD 100 charge if you loose it. Really primitive method and I hope they go digital.
The bathroom is small and at certain times of the day water pressure was really low. According to the hotel stuff it was normal and there was nothing they could do.
Beds were great and so were the pillows. TV was a 32′ LED with basic cable.
There are pay-​as-​u-​go PCs in the lobby with printing capabilities. For only USD 2 you can check-​in and print your fly vouchers really fast.
The carpets from either the lobby and the room were a little old and dirty, so was the overall look of the hotel. It’s an ok Hotel if your only gonna use it for sleeping and you need the best location posible in Manhattan, without going broke.

Reading the previous reviews it’s clear that people do not understand this is a simple budget friendly hotel. If you are looking for the newest and nicest hotel full of additional bonuses, then don’t come here. If you are looking for a great budget friendly hotel, then look no further!
First, you can’t beat the location. Five minute walk to both Central Park and Times Square. The subway is right outside the hotel door. There are several great restaurants on the same block and right around the corner. Did I mention this hotel is the perfect location?
The hotel is older and they are trying to keep it «original». I agree it’s dated, but still very comfortable. We had a king bed and slept great each night. TV was new and large. Bathrooms were decent size and shower was great. My only negative of room was AC, it was a little inconsistent.
If you are looking for a comfortable bed in a safe location to explore the city, then this is the place. We were very happy and will be back!

I stayed here while visiting NY on a solo trip. I am a wild & crazy girl who travels to big cities alone! :)
Anyway, the hotel’s location is the big selling point. Room prices are standard for mid-​town and the Wellington isn’t going to win any design or décor prizes. The location is awesome, however!
I was easily able to walk to Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Trump Tower, the NY Public Library, and Columbus Circle, all while wearing very fashionable high heels! :)
Tons of shopping, lots of restaurants, and everything anyone visiting NY could want! Mere steps from the subway!
The Wellington’s location is so good that I even overlooked the girl at the desk who was kind of sarcastic and sour. I will stay here again!

This hotel was not what I expected… It is very very old and not very well kept up. We arrived and our air conditioning doesn’t work and the window was open airing it out. The shower would scald me with hot water every so often.
I am traveling from out of the country and has packages shipped here. One package was not here, even though I had confirmation that it was delivered. When working with the front desk I was treated with disrespect. They told me to check surrounding hotels. After checking other hotels and asking the front desk a day later they found my package. The front desk did not apologize and still treated me with disrespect.
I will never stay here again.

I’m not sure if it is because of the May prices, or because of the location. Anyways I was charged almost 2000 dollars for staying a week, this is what I got:

You know I always think the nitty gritty annoying facts are the things that make an hotel intolerable. And, Wellington Hotel has a lot of them…
Don’t likes:
1. Unclean water, it might be frequent in NYC? (Like in Manhattan by Woody Allen) But you see the tap waters like in Manhattan and you feel the same way with Issac…
2. Complementary wifi requires manual input of a randomly generated password, everyday. Each password is only valid for one device (I had a suite for my parents and me, we have 7 – 9 devices in total). Each password’s maximum session is 5 days, which means if you stay longer than that you need additional different passwords. This is ridiculous to me… never experienced this before in any hotels.
3. You need to pay to use lobby computer and you need to pay for printing. Maybe it is also a NYC thing because (money means a lot? or it is nearer to Wall St?) some reasons… but it is annoying for me because what I need to print out is just a couple of tickets for some places. I log into my dropbox, open the document, print 3 copies of them, I was charged about 3+ dollars and they give me an ultra long code to access my unused time later, which I never used, but minimum charge is ~3 dollars.
4. Noise of the AC is high, and there is no way to turn the AC off, almost everyone in my room feels a bit catch cold when we check out. We tried to turn its temperature higher but we still wake up cold…
5. There is no coffee or tea in the room, neither an equipment to make them… again, maybe it is a NYC thing? First time experienced in a hotel…
6. Cups are not quite clean, well I tip 5 dollars everyday… am I being too stingy?
7. No laundry devices, nightmare to long staying… they have laundry service, 7 or so dollars for a t-​shirt I think, similar but higher prices for other stuff. I feel like their washers and dryers must have a labor union.
8. Water leaking from ceiling of one bedroom, dripping on the carpet. They fixed it after I told them, but I hear some other lady reporting leaking waters in the lobby too.
9. Unstable bathroom water temperature and pressure, especially in the morning. Well my parents take showers at night, lucky them.
10. Out dated rooms, faded colors, makes me feel like I’m staying at a motel. (But I think the motel I booked provides complementary breakfast…)

As much as I truly enjoyed my stay at the Wellington. They have a lot of things left to improve.
1.) Rodents? There was a mouse trap under the heater. I kept hearing scratching sounds through out the day so I was paranoid it was a mouse each time! Turns out it was the extremely old pipes the building has. Still the traps mean there’s mice somewhere.
2.) I took my own sheets and pillowcases luckily! Something I’ve been taught to do by my grandmother. I’m so glad I did because their sheets looked dirty to me. One had a stain.
Those were the reasons for me reducing this review by two stars.
The location is definitely something you can not beat! It is the best! Walking distance to all the main places, bike rentals up the street. It’s just excellent!!! And there’s a diner downstairs that’s always open late so that’s another huge plus.
I just truly wish they would replace ALL the sheets and mattresses, & replace the carpets!!. Not sure if they can do anything about the pipes but at least cover the small holes around it that looks like what mice come in through

Lots happened here
Good at first then once we confirmed to extend our room for the evening. They lost our reservation and booked someone in our room! So we had to leave after getting into a dispute, good! I’m tired of the water going cold every time someone went to the bathroom! Not being able to regulate heat… Oh and my window came all the way out. The tub didn’t drain well and now we are going to a bit more modern place plus the food wasn’t so good from room service :(

Wir waren im Januar eine Woche (Samstag bis Samstag) zu Gast im Wellington Hotel.
Die Lobby machte einen sehr guten Eindruck — der Check In ging flott und ohne Probleme. Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg freundlich.
Das Zimmer war von der Größe vollkommen ausreichend für 4 Personen (Deluxe Zimmer Double-​Double) — 2 Doppelbetten, Bad, Kleiderschrank, TV, Kühlschrank, Tisch, 2 Stühle, …alles da.
Die Betten waren ok — Meiner Meinung nach ein wenig zu weich, aber das ist Geschmacksache.
Jedoch konnte man an einigen Stellen sehen (Wände, Fenster, etc.), dass die letzte Renovierung schon eine Weile her gewesen sein muss.
Das Bad war ausreichend, aber auch in einem ähnlichen «aktuellen» Zustand. Ein nicht funktionierender Föhn, wurde ohne große Wartezeit ausgetauscht.
Das einzige was wirklich nervte, waren undefinierbare Geräusche der Heizung (von Zeit zu Zeit, nicht dauerhaft). Wir nehmen an, dass es «Klopf”-Zeichen der Rohre waren, welche bei Temperaturunterschieden gearbeitet haben.
Das Hotel war für uns völlig ausreichend, da wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren und es nur zu schlafen genutzt haben. Von daher, durchaus zu empfehlen.
Vor allem die Lage war für uns einfach super. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist eine U-​Bahn-​Station und zum TimesSquare sind es keine 10 Minuten Fußweg.
Wer allerdings auf das Hotel bei der Reiseplanung ein größeres Augenmerk legt, sollte sich nach einem anderen umschauen.

Location is the only positive — close to Central Park, Times Square and public transportation. The second entrance on 55^th is closed where the cab dropped me off so I had to walk around to 7^th Avenue to the other entrance in the pouring rain with my bags. Receptionist at check-​in was icy. Perhaps you can tell your people to be more hospitable when you’re working in the hospitality industry. Everything about this hotel is old, not in a charming way, but in a gross way. The lobby is old, the hallways are old, the elevators are old, the rooms are old. I would describe the décor as something you would find at «grandma’s house.»
My room was right off the elevator so I heard the ding all night, but that was the least of the noise problems. There was the street noise — I was on the 9^th floor and I felt like I was sleeping on the street, I heard every car, truck, honk and person. Biggest noise offender was the heating system which sounded possessed — like someone pounding a pipe inside the heating unit. All night long, as the heater fan kicked on, it would make this awful loud, banging noise. I don’t know of anyone who would be able to sleep through it. If you’re staying here, be prepared to drug yourself with sleeping pills. Huge gaps above and below door let in the bright hallway lights.
As for cleanliness, the sheets smelled and seemed clean, but there were hairs on there (not mine!). There were dust bunnies and trash under the bed, looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in years. There was a used shower cap hanging on the outside of the bathroom door (that I guess the maid forgot to take). The toilet seat had a droplet on it and hadn’t been cleaned. All around the tub and sink there were layers of caulk (like 10) — how about instead of re-​caulking over the disgusting grime, you just renovate your hotel? This hotel desperately needs a massive renovation. I had gotten a deal for two nights here, but would have been pissed had I paid full price. There’s a charge for Wifi and I had to pay $ 3 just to print out my boarding pass downstairs. Do yourself a favor and pay a bit more and stay somewhere else!

This is my second time that I return to this Hotel. I can’t say enough for this hotel. I love the room and the amenities. The Hotel staff is amazaing and go out of there way to help if there is any issue. I won’t say names but he knows who I’m talking about. Thank you for everything you do for myself and my family when we stay at your hotel.
Grerat location, close to Central Park and Subway and close to many things. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel has small rooms, dirty, old, can’t control your AC unit and low behold there is no free WiFi.
5 stars for the great location, where it’s located close to everything you’d need to go to from Central Park, Times Square, Hell’s Kitchen, Broadway, the Subway to even the Halal Guys food cart. The place is perfect whether you’ll be getting around by taxi, über or by foot.
The cons, for a penthouse room it came with two queen sized beds a barely there bathroom/​shower and small living area with a TV. No refrigerator, no controls on the AC unit and no free WiFi. The beds were a joke, having blankets that looked to be dated from the early 90’s– pretty sure I owned the same fuzzy, pink foamy blanket when I was a toddler. They were springy and uncomfortable. There’s one elevator that goes up to the rest of the rooms and the penthouse floor is on the 13^th floor (if there’s any superstitious people out there). Since the penthouse is on the 13^th you have to take a separate elevator which is small, rickety and extremely hot. Don’t even try to get room service, the prices are straight up a rip off: $ 21 for a breakfast plate of eggs, toast and sausage? House keeping was okay and the little soaps/​lotions were so tiny.
Once checking in, upon asking about WiFi the woman working the desk told us the absurd prices for $ 25 for 3 – 4 days and only ONE person/​device can access the internet. What? Seriously? After recognizing my disbelief she offered that I could sit in Starbucks or go to another hotel across the street. Wow.
If you’re looking for a room, to barely live in and just going to be needing to get around the immediate areas and to shower this is the hotel for you. Also if you happen to be a fan of Borat, you can stay here and tell your friends you stayed at the same place he did. (I don’t know why one would find that to be proud of … but y’know). I suppose one redeeming factor about this hotel is that there’s a good chance you’ll run into someone famous. On the way back to the hotel from Times Square, my brother and I did run into Shia LeBeouf … but that’s a story for another day.

Inconvénients;
–L’effectif à l’entrée de l’hôtel est froid et sans sourire. Impersonnel et même presque grossier dans leur manière d’interagir avec la clientèle. Le portier passé son quart de travail à jaser avec ses collègues au lieu d’attendre les pensionnaires.
–La chambre est horrible. Pas vraiment par sa taille mais bien par son manqué de tenue. D’abord la température de la douche persiste à fluctuer; chaude, froide, plus froide, pas assez chaude… Ensuite, la chambre est sans thermostat. Il était impossible de contrôler le calorifère. Nous avons passé les nuits bouillis à même nos sueurs! La qualité du matelas souffre d’une fermeté minimale, à peine de support. Nous avons reçu une chambre située près d’une zone de rénovation. Il y existait une nuisance sonore, assez pour irriter.
Conseil: Prévoyez au moins une trentaine de minutes pour la réception de votre véhicule si vous voulez en reprendre possession. Les frais sont de 35 $ par nuits et sans IN/​OUT privilège. Il n’y a pas de machine à glacé. Alors, demandez au lobby avec sourire et un pourboire.”
