Young A Bui, DDS

This guy is amazing, grew up in the UK, and he has fixed all my bad dentistry (butchers!).
I have not had a problem since and I feel more comfortable with my smile and most importantly seeing the dentist again.
His injection technique is fantastic,
Very calm, tells you what he is doing so you feel comfortable.
I was so relaxed having a root canal I nearly fell asleep (no drugs!) I have now started referring friends in NY to go seem him for work to be done.

Now I can confirm all the brouhaha (great excitement) regarding Dr. Young Bui! He’s awesome!!! I read the online reviews about him and decided to give him a try. I could not have been more pleased. I had pain on the upper left side of my teeth anything cold that I drank hurt like the dickens. I also couldn’t chew any food on that side too. It was very painful. I met him on 9÷22÷15 for and evaluation that day he scheduled me to come in the next morning 9÷23÷15 to do a root canal. I can’t remember the last time I felt at ease in any dentist chair as much as I did with Dr. Bui. He is very professional, personable, thoughtful and funny. He explains the procedure to you step by step (hand holding). He’s gentle and very considerate. I told him I was very afraid to feel any pain. He didn’t lecture me. He just numbed me up good! His staff Michelle/​Martha were very warm, professional and personable as well. Very clean and state of the art facility. He was also very quick. I had no pain at all. I was actually humming and tapping my fingers to the music. I believe it was soft rock. I went back to work within hour. A few hours later he followed up with a call and asked me how I was doing. I couldn’t believe it. Because not many doctors take the time out to personally call you him or her self. Anyhow, he is really good and anyone who’s in pain should come to this man!

I needed an emergency root canal and I called the dentist that I’ve had for 30 years. He referred me to Dr. Young Bui, who called me at 7:30 on a Sunday morning and we made arrangements to meet at his office at 10:00 am for an emergency procedure.
He was one of the most thorough Endodontists I’ve have ever experienced and I have had a few root canals. He was patient, kind, and was concerned about my teeth and I. He was with me for close to 3 hours and I felt that he got to the root of my problem and eased the pain that I was feeling.
I highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Bui is the da Vinci of Endodontics! I am experiencing the worst dental problems in my life and had a very recent root canal that was awful. Needless to say, I refused to go to the same specialist when I was told I had to get another root canal.
However, I was referred to Dr. Bui by my current dentist. The good dentist is accommodating when you are in pain and need an evaluation. He tells you what he is doing, answers all your questions (I always have at least 10); knows what he is doing (no eye paralysis!!), uses the correct anesthesia, and gets the job done. And he is funny to boot. And did I mention, the staff is terrific.
For Manhattan, his prices are reasonable and not as exorbitant as some other other NY dentists.

Dr. Young Bui is the best endodontist on Manhattan island. He knows his work and does it perfectly without any complains. Highly recommend to all people who is looking for endo specialist.

I was reffered to Dr. Bui by my Oral Surgeon. I heard and read many horror stories about the whole root canal procedure but it really was the opposite when I went in to see this guy. Since this was my first root canal ever, I walked in anticipating a whole lot of pain, but from him injecting my gums with anesthesia to cleaning out the roots, I did not flinch once. There was a bit of mental discomfort from hearing him drill the tooth but I did not feel a thing. The procedure lasted an hour and that was it. Imporant to note too that I had four wisdom teeth extracted two week before, so the process of getting dental work was still fresh.
The office manager Martha was very nice and accomodating. Dr. Bui and his staff assistant made it very comfortable and they both even cracked a joke or two throughout the procedure.
That night I even got a surprise call from Dr. Bui checking in if everything was okay. Great guy.
I’m definitely making my way back here if I need another root canal.

Young Bui is exceptional. I had a bad job done on a root canal at another practice and needed emergency treatment. When I got off the phone with Dr. Bui’s office’s receptionist, I immediately felt like I could trust him and his staff. You know when you get that feeling?
I’ve had 3 root canals performed by my previous endodontist — one time he did a poor poor job. He forgot to put a crown on one of them! Needless to say, had to switch and definitely had to make sure I found someone who knew what he was doing. During my first appointment, Dr. Bui spent time explaining what he recommended we do, listened to any complaints and concerns I had, and even cracked a few jokes to lighten up the atmosphere. He’s not just a professional, he’s a funny, down-​to-​earth guy — and I appreciate that quality in my health professionals. Don’t you?
So if you’re looking for a specialist who can take good care of you, Dr. Bui is your guy!

He’s in a new practice, even better than before — great office at 30 East 40^th Stree (646−434−1481), lovely staff, and still with weekend hours. The first time I needed a root canal, I was afraid of the entire process. Dr. Bui and his staff put me at ease, numbed my mouth (the needle didn’t even hurt and I don’t like needles), fixed the severe problem in about an hour, and I left his office completely relieved — no pain!!! The second time I had to see Dr. Bui, I knew what to expect — pain relief and great results. And I got just that. He is a quintessential professional, with integrity, knowledge, and skill.
