Stupidly over priced only needed about 3 feet of pipe welded in should have been no longer than 30 min of labor wanted 150 and who knows how much labor he was going to charge but definitely no coming here for anything

I called in the morning to make an appt to get my resonator delete and the guy on the phone then said just bring it by after 3 p.m. so I’ll take a look at it. so at 3 o’clock I brought my car over, he took a look at it and said he could get it done in 30 minutes. I sat in the office about 15 minutes next thing you know my car was done and it sounded awesome!
If you need to get your exhaust done get it done here, the guy Dan is an awesome welder (VERY SMOOTH and CLEAN WELDS) and a real nice guy.

So last time I was here I had a exhaust clamp come loose and came by, I expected it to be quite expensive but turned out the owner charged me 40 bucks to weld it problem fixed 5 Stars! I was driving this week and heard what I thought to be an exhaust leak again so I went by and this time spoke to the nephew who runs the shop, I left my car told them take your time and call me when its fixed (I had asked for the same deal as last time weld the pipe for 40 buck) this was around 2:30. Came back to pick my car up at 4:40 as they close at 5 no call from them at this point by the way. I come in and the nephew tells me I have a cracked manifold !!! No big deal it is what it is, but then he lets me know I had a coolant leak from the heater core connector that was broken he said the fitting had worn over time and I had coolant all over the place. Funny thing is that part was replaced 2 months prior by my mechanic who has been working on my Jetta since new and this is my commuter car and I drive it every day with the A/​C running with no temp issues. I also have a slanted driveway so if my car was leaking prior to this it would have been all over my driveway which it was not. I come out this morning start my car coolant everywhere. I call him to ask him how much to fix it 20 dollar part he quotes me 120.00 for a part that requires 3 clamps to be removed and re installed at the top of the engine compartment, I know they are a business but WOW! 100 bucks for 15 minutes no thanks did it myself. I am paying to get my car towed to my guy which I should have done in the first place but he is in another town by my work and I wanted to save time didnt work out so good. Dont go here I used them one other time but I believe ownership has changed recently and so has their reputation and quality of service and honesty. I really believe they broke the heater core connector especially since it is located right above the manifold that has the crack and since it was replaced a few months ago.
Update 7÷22÷2014
So I just got my car back from my my mechanic Auto Haus El Camino in Santa Clara, the problem was a flex pipe that goes from the manifold to the exhaust pipe under the car. Total for parts and labor 300. Aman’s Auto are total ripoffs I wouldn’t go there to put air in my tires. Please get a second opinion for anything you can not see yourself these guys will rip you off.

called in for price on smog check for my vehicle. He said $ 60. i only called cuz i seen his ad on craigslist.

I would highly recommend Aman’s auto. Brought my car there for SMOG at STAR station. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and honest!

My mechanic who is next door to Aman’s auto, recommended I take it here to get smogged. I got a small discount and passed smog with flying colors. Aman went over the entire process with us and also notified us about a Valve cover leak on my Tacoma which we have scheduled to be repaired by my mechanic. Great customer service and the heads up on the leak was also nice. Would definitely recommend.

I used to go to this place a lot for muffler work and custom piping. I deal with a lot of low cars and need custom exhausts for them. Guys to good work but the prices have increased significantly and the quality just isn’t the same. i don’t see the Hispanic guy that works there any longer either. He was the only one I trust with custom work.
Last time I went, I was being charged quite a bit to cut and weld a muffler. Manager or whoever was sitting in the front office didn’t even look at my car at all. Very sad that the shop came to this.

We actually came to the place by mistake. There are at least 3 smog places under the same address. This one is in Unit A, the first one off of Cedar Blvd. I called another place and they quoted us $ 40 one SUV and $ 50 on the other SUV. We were on our way there but then we stumble upon this place they took us for $ 10 cheaper. $ 40 each for both SUVs. Each SUV took about 15 to 20 minutes. The owner did the smog himself and was very friendly.
The owner of the other shop actually came and told us we went to the wrong shop. I apologized but I saved $ 10 coming here. Business must be tough.
I am giving him 5-​stars for the smog certification and the prompt service. I cannot comment for anything else because I have only done smog here for 2 SUVs.

They did a great job repairing a section of exhaust pipe on my Escalade. They repaired it exactly how I wanted it done.
