I went to Amaral’s to see if they could cut me a couple 1″ sections of 2″ piping for a project I was working on. The technician measured the piping with me and cut the sections I needed in less than 10 minutes. I asked him how much he was going to charge me for this, and he said it was «all good.» Now that’s customer service. I’ve been going to Amaral’s since 1994, and have always had excellent service from them. I give them 6 stars.

because of city construction, i accidentally dented my exhaust. causing a 8 – 9 inch crack. took it to Amaral, he had it fixed in 10 minutes. what else can i say? good ! fast and efficient! cool guy.

We used to go to Amarals for all our problems because they were great, but we stopped going a few years ago because their service really starting slacking. They would keep our car for 5 to 6 days and not even work on it. They never had any parts in stock and they always had to be ordered, then finally once they were done fixing the car, they’d charge us a tremendous amount for ordering the part, shipping, labor, and having it sit on their lot for the week.

My parents’ ’97 GMC Suburban had a troublesome problem where, over time, the battery would drain for no apparent reason. If it sat for two days, the battery would be drained, guaranteed. My mom would need to resort to the portable battery-​jumper almost every week. We replaced the alternator, starter, battery, and disconnected every single extraneous electrical system (door locks, windows, etc.) trying to track down a short. The problem continued. Finally I had use of it for a few weeks and took it to Amaral’s for a diagnosis.
The mechanic called a short time later and explained the problem. A part on the transmission had gone out, causing the transmission to continuously draw power from the battery. Unfortunately, this part was prone to failure and a replacement would likely fail in a fairly short time. He could either replace it, or rewire the electrical system so the transmission would only draw power when the ignition was turned on. I was leery at first, until he explained that he was quite familiar with the problem, and the fix, having first performed the work on his own Suburban.
The work was performed in a surprisingly short time and cost less than $ 300 to repair.
I have other stories of the great work they provide as I’ve been going to Amaral’s for over 15 years now. Their service is always professional and knowledgeable.

Great service and quality work. They’ll give you a ride back to work and pick you up after work is completed.
When I got home, I crawled under truck to inspect work and I saw text-​book perfect welds. These guys are great!
