Very friendly customer service! Josh showed up punctually and was very professional. I asked Bug Pro to spray for ants, and Josh found a few other things that needed to be attended too. He found a wasps nests that he took down for me, and an outside area with a lot of spiders, that he sprayed too. I’m grateful he found both of those before my dog did. I highly recommend Bug Pro and if you call, you should ask for Josh!

Great service. We’ve been using them for about 5 years now and have seen great results. The pantry bugs and ants are gone and the rodents that used to roam the ivy hill in the backyard are no longer a problem. I recommend them to my neighbors and many of them have stayed on as customers as well.

Josh came over last Friday to spray. He showed up on time and was very nice and professional. I had several questions for him and he was able to answer all of them.
He started out with a brush that he used to de-​web our home (we had a spider issue). He was very thorough and was patient with me as I asked questions about everything he was doing (it was our first service). He pointed out a few things that might be leading to our spider problem (one side of our backyard is a little cluttered).
After he de-​webbed our home, he began spraying around the perimeter of the house and then sprayed in problem areas where spiders and other bugs might be.
He did a great job and I was very happy with the service and the product. Thanks!

Our house was infested with spiders outside and in. Called Scott and had the house treated.
Now we are on a regular maintenance schedule and it has made a huge difference.
Their response is prompt. Technicians are clean and courteous. And we are happy that we have found a pest control company that we can trust.

I wrote a complaint in 2014 for lack of response and service from Bug Pro. After the complaint, the owner has done his best to rectify the situation. First he offered a year service complimentary so we could see the improvement. Secondly, he personally followed up after appointments to make sure it was to our satisfaction. As of today, we critiqued certain areas and he offered to review with the new technician. My husband and I are impressed that the owner, Scott has shown to us that he values his customers, will make good on what went wrong and will continually trying to improve his company with constructive feedback. We are paying and using Bug Pro and currently do not plan to change companies. Thank you Scott & Bug Pro

We’ve had many spiders and bugs in our yard and on our patio. They come out and spray periodically we have not experienced any bugs since then. We were concerned about toxic chemicals because we have dogs but they use a safe product so our dogs have had no reactions like they did with the other companies. We also like how fast they are in doing the job. Our neighbors have switched to Bugpro too.

Scott, the owner, is very nice. He called me right away and emailed me back when I left a message about ants coming back after a week. I think there’s a colony under our condo. Gross! He is going to come back tomorrow to spray again at no charge.
They also charge a lot less than other pest control companies that I’ve spoken to.

We have a really bad ant problem in Costa Mesa.
I saw this guy’s truck that had his number on the side, so I called the number last night and they showed up early this afternoon. They were fantastic. They charged a super cheap price and the ants are already noticeably different.
My high school buddies worked pest control so they told me that many places don’t spray with much chemical. I bugged (no pun intended) the guy who came to my door and he explained all about the chemical ratios and even showed me the stuff they used. He said it is slow acting so the ants don’t come back and they take it to their nest and stuff.
I’ve been spraying with «Raid» cans because I don’t really believe in pest control and I have to say, it wasn’t that expensive to hire. My landlords don’t respond so I was kind of on my own.
When I came to Unilocal to give a review, I was sort of surprised because this place gets blasted in Unilocal reviews. I probably wouldn’t have gotten them if I just went by Unilocal,but I’m glad I did because they were knowledgeable, courteous, and an honest price.
They came out the very next day.

I was with them for over 10 years. Over the last 5 years, their customer service has been horrible. No one answers their customer service line, no one returns messages, no one responds to emails! I finally called and left a message cancelling my quarterly treatments. I sent an email as well just in case someone didn’t get my message. Someone came out and sprayed anyway while my dog was outside! I ended up taking my dog to the vet because she had developed a rash on her paws. I sent another letter threatening to sue them for the cost of the vet if they came on my property again and sprayed. The owner called and yelled at me for 20 min. He did offer free service at the end but I’d rather pay and get good customer service from a reliable and trustworthy company… their interest is obviously not in their customer.

I was satisfied with Bug Pro for years, unfortunately when I asked to cancel my service, it was a nightmare. I called back in October 2013 I couldn’t get ahold of a person. I left 2 messages, asking for a return call which never happened. I paid my October bill because they sprayed, I wrote cancel on the bill. I e-​mailed them. They never responded to my e-​mail. They sprayed in Nov. I payed my bill. I wrote cancel on the bill. Same thing in December. Finally January I just stopped paying. Yeah! They stopped spraying, but they say I’m 90 days behind. No actual people to deal with. What do I do? I’m afraid if I pay the bill they will spray again. And, I really shouldn’t have to since I cancelled in October. Please Bug Pro Contact me. I’m writing this in hopes that I can finally talk to a person from your company. You’re killing me here!

Unbelievable! I have used this company approximately 2 years. Because my first original experience was so bad, they gave me free service for a quarter. Now, 2 years later, I am still not paying for service because they have never gotten their act together. I won’t be surprised if this review disappears. Periodically I check Unilocal for them and as soon as the review makes them look bad, it disappears off Unilocal and comes back with 0 reviews. I had a mother rat that chewed into my garage wall behind my washer and had 7 babies. They said they’d take care of it. After 5 weeks, I hired another company and they had the problem gone in a few days! Not even an apology from Bug Pro!
I had a roach problem pop up out of nowhere. They came out and said they’d take care of it. After, I believe, 7 return visits to spray, I took care of it myself by researching online and doing about 10 things including emptying my entire kitchen. They were not doing anything for it because there were always adult roaches, even after every spray! Thanks to ME, the roaches are completely gone!
Then there’s the ants. I have ants terrible this year! They came out and sprayed. About a week later I called again letting them know they’re in my house. They came and sprayed outside again explaining the ants inside will come out to they’re colony and it will kill them with a bit of time. Then I called again still having ants in my children’s room! They, again, said the same thing and sprayed outside even though I asked for inside, saying they would just come back. Now, 2 weeks later, I have called their customer service Monday, Wednesday and Friday very upset saying I do not care about the colonies, I want my children’s room sprayed NOW, and expect a call within 24 hours (completely reasonable in my eyes)! My children have been sleeping on my bedroom floor for 2 weeks because the ants in their room are so bad! Now, I have a horrid ant problem and very grouchy grumpy children because they aren’t in their own beds getting proper sleep. This was all explained on the message… because no one EVER answers the customer service option! Try it, you’ll see. I finally called out another company and the ants were completely gone in a single day, and I have seen no signs of them since! I have no idea how this place is in business. Honestly, 2 years free service, but without a single result. Oh, and yes, I have had to use another company for every real issue besides the regular quarterly spraying. No idea if that has or has not worked for anything. I would think they’d rather get things right and get paid rather than keep giving out service. Kinda think they’ve just been spraying water. No idea, and bummed I can’t give a 0 star review!

I was given the name of Bug Pro by my best friend, who has used it for his home on a subscription basis. He was eager to pass on the name when I needed pest control in my home. At first, I was disappointed that their business hours to even make an appt are only between 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday thru Friday. Makes it difficult to carve out a moment when you are in the full time corporate world.
I discovered their website, and was offered a Live Chat with a chat agent. I explained my situation, and was looking for an appointment as soon as possible. The chat agent confirmed that their business hours are only between 8:00AM and 5:00PM Monday thru Friday, but they would be happy to pass along my inquiry and someone would get in contact with me during the work week. I also filled out the contact form on the site, and got no phone call.
I finally spoke to someone very friendly by phone (I think his name was Dave?) on Friday afternoon, around 12 noon. I honestly started the call with feedback. I couldn’t believe I was still chasing them down, and was shocked that no one had tried to contact me since I was pretty much begging for their services.
We scheduled an appointment for Monday March 11, between 8:00AM-12:00PM.
In short, no phone call, no rescheduling. They NEVER SHOWED UP, and NEVER FOLLOWED UP.
I think I am done trying. I will go with a larger competitor.
Very disappointed, and I work for one of the largest Customer Service Providers in California…
