PiggyBoxes was started out of a need for to give people a way to leave a more eco-​friendly footprint during the moving process. Gone are the days of cardboard moving boxes and annoying packing tape, in are the days of clean, plastic boxes that stack neatly and save people time and money.

After working for a property management company for 4 years I saw too many people moving in and out with cardboard boxes and figured there had to be a better way. Everyone always had the same complaints about cardboard moving boxes. They are a pain to build, they rip, break, fall apart, and what do you do when you’re done with them? PiggyBoxes solve all of these problems! I love what I do, I love working with my fiancé Jamie, I love helping people have an easier move, and I love that we are able to impact the environment in a positive way!

I’ve used Piggyboxes several times and Todd is always right there with professional, friendly service. If you haven’t used the plastic totes for moving before it’s absolutely worth the cost. You don’t have to worry about assembling and taping up boxes or breaking them down and throwing them away. Piggyboxes should be your first and only call for moving boxes!

I have moved nearly a dozen times in my life, and if you have too, then you probably have used the cardboard boxes that home improvement stores sell, ranging from $ 2−5/each depending on the size and durability. You put them together with packing tape ($ 2−3/roll), break them down, and load them up in your recycling bin over the next couple months. It’s one of the small parts that makes moving suck.
Enter PiggyBoxes, which reflects their pink colored boxes (although we got the gray ones) and how they interlock and stack upon each other. These are super sturdy plastic bins with folding tops, so they can fit oversize articles (but wouldn’t be able to support another box on top). We ended up going with the 35 box option ($ 3.40 per), and received 5 large, 5 small, and 25 medium and a dolly. You get the boxes for a week, but can extend that out at a $ 30/​week charge.
Todd gave us a 2-​hour window for drop off and pick up, arrived on time and phoned us when he was en route. Very professional fellow, but in a down to earth way. I’ll be using them for all of my local moving needs, you should strongly consider them too.

I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to rent these containers in the beginning, but I am so glad I did. I especially loved the blue closet boxes. They are plastic and are much more sturdy then the cardboard ones, love the Velcro that helps seal the boxes for transportation.
All in all one of the best decisions I made to help with my move.

PiggyBoxes are great — it was definitely a big time saver in comparison to taping up and then breaking down cardboard boxes. Piggyboxes has been a great asset on more than one occasion. The convenience of rolling crates is fantastic and the owner Todd is a great guy. They deliver and pickup the crates and provide removable labels. I recommend this company highly if you are moving or just need to pack up stuff for a short time. Using crates helps the environment too because you don’t need cardboard boxes.

Everyone hates moving right!?! Well a friend told me about piggy (yeah I know dumb name)… Anyway, they were INCREDIBLE!!! I ordered the 2 bedroom package online with bubble wrap. And let me tell you. I’m never moving again but if I had to I’d call them in a heart beat.
You get more than enough bins (and they don’t have to be pink) and just fill them up and do your thing. It made moving seamless!!! Again crazy how easy this move was. Packed and stacked 4 high and roll to your car /​truck or whatever.
I don’t do many reviews or am very active but for them I’ll write a review. Don’t break a sweat, use them. You’ll thank me and the guys are super laid back /​cool to deal with. The process is super simple even a tool could do it.

I have moved 5 times in the last 3 years and always use these boxes. Still the best way ever to move ever! I have moved from Anaheim to Corona to Irvine to Tustin, to Placentia and back to Corona and Todd has always given me the best service! I think this is the easiest way to pack and unpack and I recommend them to everyone I hear is moving. Forget cardboard that is flimsy, awkward, and attract bugs. These boxes are delivered clean and pack easy. I do t think I’ll be moving again for a while so thank you Todd!

BEYOND pleased with Piggy Boxes! I originally looked into this for the environment stand point but now, I can’t think of enough reasons not to use these! They were delivered right into my living room with labels and dollies. This saves so much time and it’s so nice that they stack onto each other making it so easy to organize. What can I say, Piggy Boxes are the way to go. My roommate and I moved from a 2bd/​2ba to a 2bd/​2ba and utilized the 50 box 2 bd option. We used every box, it was perfect.
Piggy Box Pros:
— Ordering them online is a breeze
— No need to build and tape or break down like with cardboard (extra steps, no thank you)
— Clean and smell good (they really do, cardboard can get stinky)
— Easy to move around/​stack and label (I put the labels on top of the piggy’s head)
— They look nice and uniform among the chaos of moving (such nice uniform stacks)
— They are delivered and picked up (yes please)
— Very environmentally friendly (yay)
— Fantastic customer service and very responsive
— And of course they are fun to talk about (piggy piggy piggy boxes!)
I can’t really think of any cons. They might be heavier than cardboard but we packed on the lighter side which worked out just fine because I like to be able to lift the boxes anyway. Plus they are so sturdy which helped keep our things from being damaged. Movers didn’t charge extra because of the Piggy Boxes, in fact they mentioned they fit better in the moving truck.
Basically anything that can take the pain out of moving is worth it. Thank you Todd and everyone at Piggy Boxes for helping make our move smoother! I plan to use them again and I highly recommend Piggy Boxes.

Best idea ever! Your going to pay for cardboard boxes anyways why not get ones that can be reused, dropped at you door, and picked up from your new location! You don’t have to figure out how to dispose of them and creating less waste!!! I was a last minute/​shotgun move and they were at my doorstep right when I needed them! Will never move without the service again!
Quick, easy, efficient, clean… (and eco-​friendly, but who’s really paying attention to that?). Todd (owner, delivery man, box cleaner, appointment scheduler, model) is an excellent guy and will definitely take care of you.
The boxes are clean, large and sturdy. They stack up so you can save room when they’re packed and after they’re emptied. Why bother with cardboard boxes you either scavenge for around the office or pay for at u-​haul, rip at the bottom when you lift them up, and you have no idea what to do with them after you unpack?!
Just for reference, I moved out of a 1 bedroom apartment (granted I’m a semi hoarder) and had 25 boxes. I probably could’ve used 5 more.
Go with piggy boxes, you won’t be disappointed.

Let’s talk some serious Move Hacks. PiggyBoxes is the best moving decision we made. It made me look like a genius for using them for our move. All our friends and family were impressed & inspired (maybe jealous too). :) We packed, moved & unpacked in 10 days. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have any brown boxes still in my house or in the storage waiting to be looked at later, aka never. We rented the well-​priced 2 bedroom package and it was just the right amount, it felt like magic how we packed all our things into it minus the furniture & bulk items.
You need to call Piggy Boxes if hate these things like me: brown boxes, tape, hunting, begging & desperation for free boxes, buying premium disposable boxes to create another chore of breakdown after you unpack, littering the beautiful earth, taping & dealing with broken boxes.
Todd the owner was very helpful and attentive to the order and personally delivered and picked up on time when you needed them to appear and disappear. Dollies that came with the package was genius for our backs, rolling them around the house to pack/​unpack.
We are very thankful for a wonderful company, service and product for our move. Support a local small business and call them to reserve your boxes, I hear they book up fast especially during Spring & Summer. Thank you Todd and PiggyBoxes for helping us!

Moving sucks. But moving with PiggyBoxes makes the entire process a million times better!
Booking and paying is done online and super easy.
The delivery of boxes was fast — like 10 minutes. They even were able to come a day earlier than they thought they could, which was great!
Packing with these boxes is no problem! They are so sturdy and I love that they stack up nicely.
Moving is a breeze! I’m sure our movers loved us cause we had these instead of a bunch of random, flimsy, cardboard boxes.
Pick up is as awesome and fast as delivery!
We rented 35 boxes. They were all clean, stacked up, and ready for us to use upon delivery The boxes are a good size, you can fit a ton of stuff in them. You are also provided with labels for the boxes, and we spent I think less than $ 10 for packing paper, which came in really handy.
I will never move without these boxes again. Not only did they make my move go super smooth, but because we were paying by the week, we were forced to unpack to save money. It feels great knowing I won’t have boxes sitting in my garage a year from now that I never «found the time» to get to.
