last time my family or i buy a car from here… i got myself a 2014 dodge avenger brand new from the start since i had the car i been having a issue with it. i already took in my car to service about 7 to 8 times already. they acknowledged there was a problem but they don’t know what it could be. my dash lights and radio turns off and turns back on by it self and tcl goes on. i got sold a lemon car from them. and they don’t want to take the responsibility for it. i tried to contacted the manger by phone or email but i keep getting told he is in the meeting. i mean if he has time to write back on my post on fb. he can have the time to call or write back to my email.
this is b.s. i have already contacted a lawyer about this.
and save your time and go somewhere else.

Awful finance department and management team. Don’t go to River Front Chrysler unless you want to sink your credit score overnight. They’ll promise you they will only run your credit once, but its a lie. They shotgun your social security to multiple lenders and the next day your credit score drops. Mine dropped literally 25 points by the next morning after visiting River Front Chrysler. I’m not even upset they undervalued my trade by at least $ 2k. The fact that they told me they would only run my credit once, and didn’t is appalling and reason enough never to trust them or buy a car from them. In the meanwhile, it will take months to bring my credit score back due to all the hard inquiries.

Another bullshit Dodge dealer. My brother shows up at his appointment time, but no one is looking at his truck. Apparently the appointment time is to show up to tell somebody what is wrong, not to actually have it looked at. I thought that is what the phone call to the dealer in the first place was for, to tell them what was wrong. More bull shit piss poor service. No wonder no one wants to do with these damn dealers.

Bought my wrangler last year here. Rob from Internet sales told me that since I was buying the car out of cook county that I didn’t have to pay the cook county taxes. When I asked him about it he said that I misunderstood him. A year later comes a tax bill from cook county. I know better to go with what I know but he even told me that again when I was buying my second jeep which I bought from bettenhausen in Orland park. So it is where u live not where u buy the car. I knew that but I listened to him.

My wifes 07 jeep compass start acting weird about 2 months ago. headlight and turn signal went out. Bought set of bulbs and still not working and this care doesn’t have fuses it’s electronic controlled fuse box or something tike that. So we decided to call for appointment to check it out. After my research fuse box needed to be reset so I explained situation yo the service rep and he said no problem come on down. Went in on Saturday morning, they checked me in, took my car and tech said it’s not fuse box but something with the ground. Possible broken wire. Wires on that car are hair thin. They didn’t charge me a penny for diagnose and treated me with honesty. My and my family’s all business goes to river front. Thanks

Purchased a 2015 Dodge Journey. The sales and finance staff were easy to work with. Our salesman spent a good deal of time going over the vehicle was made and even promised to find a good home for my beloved trade in.

Nothing like telling them the exact car we want that is at another dealer and think they would do a swap but when they asked my husband what we would pay (much under than expected but on purpose for negotiation) they said they will call back. They called back right away and said «there is no way we can come down to that price» and then my husband said ok expecting there would be a counter-​offer. Nope! Told him if he wanted a vehicle for under $ 30k he can set us up in a minivan. I want the Renegade. Not a minivan. Why not respond saying lets work on the price, lets try to get us in a lower level model, nothing. That was the end of the conversation. Little do they know, we got that Renegade from the original dealer for $ 4,000 off msrp plus the $ 500 «incentive» I qualified for. RF is not the only dealer that won’t negotiate but keep calling around and try some dealers e-​price and see who is willing to negotiate. Let River Front and others know they aren’t the only player in the game.

I recently went to River Front Chrysler with the intent to purchase a Grand Cherokee. I knew the prices would be a little higher than I wanted to pay but imagined they would work with me on getting the price and rate at a place we would both be comfortable with — I wasn’t expecting a huge price drop. The person I started working with was nice but a little unorganized and used profanity a few times while we talked. This sales person had another client in the showroom and needed to finish the sales with them (which I understand). I was turned over to anothe sales person who was rude, mean, and lacked patience. While looking at another model, he said we needed to stand in the shade because he had a hangover. He didn’t smile once and was short with answers. I asked him about a tow hitch and he told me to save a few hundred dollars and take it to U-​haul. The first option would be the dealers (who knows the car best) and the price would be worked into the total of the car but he didn’t give me that option. When we went back to the showroom to talk, he sat down and said «I’m a straight shooter, here’s the price I can give you… I can’t go and won’t go any lower.» He then said, «I bring this place a lot of money so I guess they let me do what I want so I can save you 500 dollars but that’s about it.» Just minutes before this exchange, I overheard a white male (Yes I’m black) customer and his wife tell the salesman «give me your best price and several pricing options.» The salesman respond, «I will do all that I can to get you and your wife the best price, even better than you think… I’ll work with you.» He smiled and even thanked them for coming in. This guy was going to get a sale mainly because he was willing to work with the customer. The guy helping me was a joke and made me even wonder if race had anything to do with it. I kindly took a card and quietly left, never to return. The worst part about it all, I’m already approved for more than they were asking for and was willing to write the check that day. They lost a sale because of terrible customer service and unprofessionalism.

If you like to be significantly overcharged, scammed and hustled for auto service, then River Front is the right place for you. On my Chrysler 2010 Town and Country, I was quoted $ 550 for radiator hoses, $ 900 for torsion bar and $ 485 for rear brakes (rotors/​pads). At an independent shop in Batavia, they quoted $ 375 for hoses, $ 350 for rear brakes and said only the bushing needed replacement at $ 175 (instead of torsion bar.) Over $ 1100 in savings by going somewhere else.
Additionally, they charged $ 130 just to diagnose the problem.
Also, don’t fall for the «we’re too busy trick» where they say that they’ll try to squeeze you in just to look at the car. So, I dropped it off on a Friday not expecting service until Monday. Amazingly, they called right after I dropped it off, explained what was wrong and that I could have my car fixed at the end of the day. Mind you that I had no appointment and did not call ahead of time… I simply dropped the car off Friday morning. It felt too good to be true that they could turn around a car this quickly.

Car dealers suck for the most part primarily because they develop their own reputation!
Thinking about the wrath of the upcoming winter, I decided to test the «Mopar Express Lane» for a new battery for my Dodge Truck. The fear of being stranded in a Denny’s parking lot on a late, cold & snowy night set me straight!
As advertised «Done Fast! Done Right».
I quickly paid the emotionless cashier and busted out of the dreaded «waiting room» in under 10 minutes! «I do believe in miracles»!

Visited this dealer several times to have issues taken care of under warranty. Good reputable dealer. Mark the parts manager is a great guy also. Great techs. My issues were taken care of in reasonable manner and it’s much appreciated! !

Seriously, I can’t believe how I got played.
I wasn’t even there to buy anything. I had just gone to an Auto show and wanted to test drive a couple of the trucks I liked.
He set me up with saving the best for last… as they always do. He told me that I couldn’t afford it. But thought I should see what it felt like.
I fell in love hard. 2009 Jeep Liberty Limited… Fully loaded, with Skyroof.
But it was winter, so they made it a point to tell me they couldn’t open the Skyroof.
My wife is a professional negotiator and we could barely talk them down at all from the sticker price. Of course, the first attempt wouldn’t be within our budget and the second one was just slightly outside where I could go. But we managed to stretch a little.
They gave me free oil changes with the car. I cam back for my first one which was like a month latter. They had 3 pages of things wrong with it when I brought it back. Including that the tires were dangerously bald.
I spent weeks arguing with them… finally they agreed to give me the tires off of a 2012 Liberty… Which probably means that my old bald tires are now somebody else’s problem.
Now it turns out that the Skyroof is leaking… and there are stains that if I had been able to open I would have seen. This will probably be a $ 3k repair. I’m pissed.
I will never buy another vehicle from them, and it’s unfortunate that I get free oil changes cause that means I have to see them every couple of months. I still love the truck, but no thanks to them.

The customer service related to the service department has become TERRIBLE. I am stuck in a service contract with these clowns, so I have no choice but continue dealing with them. The building has become run down and shabby, the staff isn’t any better.

Shopped online with internet mgr Chris getting back to me right away. Got the best price in an email and showed up to let him look at the trade. It took a while but they got me the most for the trade and a good rate on money and we drove home that day.
That ladies and gentleman is the way it should work.

I just purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee here. My suggestion if you’re looking at purchasing a new vehicle is to deal with Rob Goldman and Chris VerHagan in the internet sales department. I had originally dealt with a salesperson… who was decent. However, I had 2 other dealers that were about $ 700 less so I emailed Rob who responded right back that he got it approved. I arrived at 3 pm on Saturday afternoon in a limited time frame and they had me out of there with a detailed car, plates transferred and and a quick rundown in just over an hour. Chris would have spent 40 minutes on the demo — however I had to be somewhere at a certain time. They were EXTREMELY friendly, everyone I dealt with introduced themselves to my 11 yr old daughter as well. These guys are fantastic.

Had a great experience shopping for a vehicle at this dealership. Test drove three cars with very friendly sales rep, Dan Spooner. No pressure, no nonsense. Went to the dealership to look at cars on their website, and the cars were priced exactly as advertised. No games. Appreciated the experience.

Seriously the worst experience EVER! Test drove a car wanted it and during the negotiations sold it to someone else without any warning… Stay away! So shady and when I asked why they shrugged their shoulders and laughed… They don’t care about repeat business or creating trust all they care about is $ and how to hose you… Buyers Beware!!!

Stopped into River Front to look at a used Jeep Cherokee, took it for a test drive and really liked the car. That was the end of the good experience. While we were waiting for the dealer plate to take the test drive, another sales person and a customer kept walking by and looking at the Jeep, my wife asked our sales person is someone else looking at this Jeep. He said no they are interested in a different Jeep. Ok we thought cool we drove the car sat down with the sales person and started talking. Come to find out they were selling the Jeep we just test drove in the next cubicle over to the people that were looking at prior to our test drive.
I have no problem with the selling it, however don’t waste a hour and half of my and my wives time looking at and driving something that isn’t available.
I have heard more bad than good about Riverfront at the North Aurora auto mall and now I’ve have personally experienced the same.

Nice service manager and sales people, BUT the service was so bad it was almost laughable.
There was a small rust spot on the roof of our 1 year old SUV which was sent to body shop. It came back with powdery white flecks all over the inside. They then sent the vehicle out to be detailed. Then a new dented part had to be ordered. Went to get it installed and the part was defective and had to be reordered. This wasn’t found out until it was in the shop. Now back there to have it installed & waiting & waiting for tech to decide when to bring it in.
It’s a 40 mile round trip for us to bring the vehicle there for service. We’ve made 7 round trips there in the past month which adds up to a lot of time and gasoline.

River Front has a nice staff, but they could not fix my car, that is having electrical problems. I gave them three stars, because they are nice people. Again, I need my car fixed!
