California Dental Group was born with two locations to better serve patients, and Dr. Sahabi began to recognize the value of convenience and how it directly affected his patients dental care. In 1991 Dr. Kamran Sahabi graduated from University of Southern California school of dentistry and soon after embarked on what has become and amazing career. Dr. Sahabi is not afraid of hard working and he threw into his career head on. It was either sink or swim, and failure is never an option with Dr. Sahabi. His dental team and patients quickly learned that he possesses a unique ability to manage many things to ensure success.

Well I’m 45 years old so i’ve seen a few dentists and, i don’t like dentists — a rare consideration, i’m sure. My wife went here, praised them. So next thing i knew, i needed wisdoms out — my living nightmare. So I went, got free exam, and bolted for 2 months (lol). Was not looking forward to this — I have a really high pain threshold but not so much for teeth. Anyways, it was not bad at all, i was amazed. Keyvan was great, his name is Kevyan Arghavaniford so call him «Dr Argh!». The actual teeth pulling part was uncomfortable, of course, but really not that painful and no, i was not knocked out — you do not need to do that and believe me, i am a pansy when it comes to this sort of thing so if it was no problem for me, you can handle it. I thought they would use a hammer and chisel but not anymore, they just wiggle them out. I also had a crown and they literally did a perfect job — perfect fit. He must have checked and adjusted the fit 10x but you know, he did what he had to do, and made it a perfect fit and he was quick.

I’ve been here for a routine cleaning and it was swift and thorough. I waited about 15 minutes in the lobby and the whole procedure was really quick. My dentist was super friendly and the front staff were welcoming. There was convenient parking in the back also!

HONEST PLACE! Not trying to rip you off!
First of all I just want to say I hate the dentist! But this place was highly recommended to my by a friend, so i drove the extra 20 mins to try them out.
Overall the facilities were good and clean and they processed me quickly with very little wait time (had an appointment). The whole staff was very friendly and talkative and made smile even though I was very nervous.
I went to another dental office a month ago and they told me I need 2 crowns, 2 fillings which was gonna total over $ 3 grand! So I came here hoping they might be cheaper, come to find out all i needed was to fix a couple of filling and a cleaning thats it!
The dentist had me in and out, and worked on me and I barely felt any pain! It was truly one of the best dentists experiences I had. AND WOULD RETURN!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! HONEST, NICE, REASONABLE PRICE, AND MOST OF ALL MINIMAL PAIN!!!

I have been a patient at this office for over a year now; and, every time I go in for my Invisalign appointment I am greeted with bright smiles. Dr. Ariana is so caring and attentive. She makes going to the dentist’s office a not-​so-​horrid trip! She answers any questions I may have and addresses all my concerns!
As for the ladies at the front desk, they’re all amazing and always smiling, especially Narine! They keep the office so impeccably clean, just as all dental offices should be! I’m so impressed with this office because they’re always bettering themselves!

The dentist is great and in a good area but the front desk is full of females who made me feel uncomfortable. Little whispers and looking over at me. I don’t see how they apply for the positions they have and treat some the way they do. I would not recommend this one to anyone. It’s too bad because the doctors who do the real work are the ones losing out.

Very nice and friendly staff, from the reception person to the guy who took the x-​rays, the assistant and of course the dentist himself! The treatment with Dr RG was impeccable! Painless injection, 2 treatment was taken care of in the same day! It was a pleasant experience (well as pleasant as a dentist experience can be). I will definitely go back and also would recommend it to friends.

I was set up with this office through 1−800-Dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction. I was there for 4 hours and no one explained anything to me or even really spoke to me. When it came time to take the tooth out, they didn’t put me to sleep. I was fully awake for the whole thing. It was pretty much a nightmare.

I was a patient on and off for several years, but honestly would not go back. I was first attracted by their financing and payment plans, which were convenient and fair — later, when I had dental coverage, I continued to come mainly due to inertia.
So why the 2* rating? Excellent question grasshopper! The dentist I generally saw was seriously heavy-​handed when it came to working on teeth. I’m talking prison camp, wrench to the teeth, stuff that nightmares are made of, heavy-​handed. I honestly can’t remember his name, but he was a friendly East European gentleman with a pleasant demeanor — and the hands of a iron welder.
On top of the pain, some of the work (some cosmetic/​some standard) was not up to par and had to be redone later. I’m actually looking for a new dentist now to fix a filling that fell out from my last vist to CDG.
So, overall not a great experience for me here, — and it’s not a place I’d feel comfortable recommending to my friends (but I am looking for a new dentist, so hit me up if you have a good one)

Terrible place. I just moved here and was looking for a dentist. This one was close and covered by my insurance so I thought I’d get it checked out. Huge mistake. They rook about 20 x-​rays which was terrible to begin with. Then i waited for the doctor who told me that I might need to get two cavities filled. Next thing I knew I was getting injected in the cheek to numb my mouth. She was pushing too hard on the syringe and sprayed me on the face without apologizing or anything. Then they make you sign a waiver. They don’t explain anything or tell you what will happen next. The tooth filling was absolutely painful. I told the dentist I was in pain and she said that was normal and continued working and yelling at her employees. Then she left and I was told i could leave by her assistant. I couldn’t find the doctor to ask what I should do next. I was numb for the next 3 hours and have un-​even fillings and two days later I am even more sore then I was when I went in there. I can’t wait to find another dentist who can actually HELP me!

I got a Groupon to this place for an x-​ray and cleaning. After getting the x-​rays, they told me I’d need deep cleaning and refused to do the normal cleaning part, which was already paid for through the Groupon. They told me this deep cleaning would cost me about $ 400 and when I asked if they could just do the normal cleaning and I’d wait on the deep cleaning, they refused. I asked them twice to email me my x-​rays and left. I decided to get a second opinion and went to another dentist who did a normal cleaning and didn’t even mention deep cleaning. Meanwhile, I’ve called AND emailed California Dental Group for those x-​rays they never sent me and still have not received them. It’s hard not to feel like these people were just trying to squeeze $ 400 out of me, even when they knew I didn’t have any dental coverage.
Luckily, I complained to Groupon and they gave me a full refund. Please avoid this place!
