Ross Alan Reclaimed specializes in reclaimed barn wood from the Midwest. We have a unique selection of 150 to over 200 year-​old mixed hardwoods, dimensional, hand-​hewn beams and barn siding in all colors. All of our wood has a story and the character it gives brings new life to any project, whether it be building furniture, interior design in your home, office or restaurant. Other services we specialize in are: furniture design & fabrication, milling, flooring, installation & delivery available. We can supply as much or as little as needed as quickly as you want it. We are very competitively priced for what we have to offer and we also offer major discounts starting at 100 board feet or more. Call for specials! All of our wood has been inspected and is certified bug free.

History

Established in 2007.

Ross started out in custom design and fabrication for reclaimed furniture, establishing himself as Ross Alan Reclaimed. Working for 100’s of high profile clientele through the years, he learned in’s and outs of the different types of species of wood and the proper way to treat and bring old wood to new life and a new purpose. Whether it was someone who wanted the more rustic «farm house» quality of reclaimed wood, or a clean modern and contemporary style for a more polished look. Being from the Midwest, Ross then made relations with a lot of the men and farmers who have the honor of salvaging barns and buildings because of safety hazards, thus forming in 2015 «Ross Alan Reclaimed Lumber.» Now located in the heart of Noho Arts District for the people of Los Angeles to enjoy.

Business Owner

Ross & Georgie met way back when they were roommates. After several years of being roommates, they fell in love with each other and started a family. They have two children together and reside in Los Angeles, CA.

After years of Ross designing custom made reclaimed furniture for people, they realized the importance of bringing reclaimed vintage woods to Los Angeles for a reasonable price. They wanted to be able to teach people to reuse and recycle with materials that have already been harvested years before without charging people their first born child to afford to do so!

Together, Ross and Georgie want to be able to give the highest quality of product and guest service they can offer the public by what they choose to come into their shop. It is all hand selected materials and brought here with a bigger purpose in mind.

They also believe in the importance of giving back to the Earth, so with every purchase of a Furniture piece, they will plant a tree to give more life.
