Established in 1986.

After spending nearly 7 years with Ampex Data Systems, in the Audio Video Systems Division (1980 – 1986) I went on to start S D Video Engineering servicing VTR and TV Broadcast customers equipment, for 29 years providing high quality service and VTR repair

Business Owner

Sotero Delgado is a well known hybrid engineer in the Los Angeles County Television industry not excluding adjacent cities and states and Mexico

I first became involved in electronics in 1964 starting with vacuum tubes, radio and television, moving on later to transistors, solid state and IC circuitry and others.

VTRs is my passion and always go out of my way to make sure the customer get the best of me and do not rest until the customer is satisfied. my specialties now are Sony HDCAM SR and its related family, Panasonic D5 and related families too. Of course older VTRs are always fun to work on since they bring loving and pleasant memories.
