Amnesia Salon and Spa

Scheduled an appointment, arrived 15 minutes early and was taken back 15 minutes late. My stylist was nice and pleasant however, at the end she made it seem like styling my hair was going to be a hassle so I left with un-​styled hair. When I got home I straightened my hair and styled it how I normally would only to find my hair cut was choppy and looked like I cut it myself with unevenness and long strands hanging all over. I was going to go back to have it fixed but I’ll save myself the trouble and go somewhere else. I would have expected more for a $ 50+ haircut.

I had my hair done by Aurora and she was amazing! I absolutely love my new hair cut. My only complaint is pricing. Online states $ 45…but that is for short hair. :(
I would definitely recommend Aurora for anyone who has long hair. A++ stylist! Will definitely be back.

Ask for their Master Stylist, Megan! She truly is the best, but really, you can’t go wrong with any of the girls. We’ve been going here for 5+ years now and are never disappointed.

Chelsea did an amazing job and I will probably be coming back. My only complaint is that their menu needs to specify prices. My husband noted that I should have only paid $ 45 and ended up paying $ 60. After calling they said $ 45 is for short hair only. A tad expensive compared to other places I’ve been, but nice experience and clean salon.

I must say its been 15+ years since I’ve been to a Salon do to previous unsatisfied salon experience. I’m very picky when it comes to my hair. And I decided to give it another try. When I called to make an appt. I wanted to get balayage done. Mind you, that is a lot of work to get done and again it’s been a long time since I have let someone touch my long black hair. My stylist Yesenia greeted me with such a welcoming vibe. She made me feel so comfortable and she did a phenomenal job!!! I was so nervous didn’t think my hair was going to look incredible. I honestly must say this place was amazing, great crew as well! If anyone goes here please ask for Yesenia I PROMISE You… You will not regret it!!! I’m sending all my friends to this place and then some!!!

In Las Vegas, I’ve had many bad experiences with hair stylists. Sometimes I don’t know how people get hired because they’re so terrible.
I went to Amnesia today for the first time. Even after reading the reviews. Customer service was great at the front desk, and Alexis did my hair. Getting straight bangs has always been an issue. Everywhere I go they know exactly how to butcher it. But Alexis actually cared about what I wanted & made sure I was satisfied before I left.
She let me know the way she does hair, and how she will try to shape my hair to my face. She curled my hair and made it look beautiful just because. She was awesome. :)
They serve wine, coffee & water. Which is wonderful. I didn’t have any, but I loved the fact that they had it there.
I REALLY liked this place. Its close to home & like I said I was very satisfied. Ill continue to go here from now on.

Annesa did my haircut, I was so nervous at first but she was amazing and super sweet! I loved how it came out!

Three weeks ago, my friend and I went to Amnesia for their VIP Spa Party. I made an appointment for us both to have a manicure and pedicure as her birthday present. When we arrived there were hors d’oeuvres set out as well as a Chippendale performer there speaking to incoming clients. We were promptly asked if we wanted any beverages and we opted for the mimosa. Very welcoming!
We had to wait a few minutes for our nail technicians before sitting at the beautiful pedicure chairs. My friend is recovering for loosing a big toe nail from running it into a door as well as a fungus she got on her other foot at Red Persimmon. Her nail technician at Amnesia was excellent. She suggested the extra paraffin wax treatment (an extra $ 5) as well as removing all of her calluses (which she had a lot of since it’s been awhile since she’s gone to a salon). She was gentle where needed and made her feet look great. During the pedicure another mimosa was brought to each of us and were asked if they could put a plate of food together for us.
My friend is also recovering from recently removing her acrylic nails and the technician suggested Shellac polish (an extra $ 10) to help strengthen them since they were thin and brittle. She used a lovely natural color and my friend mentioned recently that her nails are on their way to being healthy now. She even wants to return to see the same technician to get great care again.
As I type I’m looking at my Shellac nails and realize they lasted a long time and still look great. I had two different ladies work on my nails (one for pedicure and one for manicure) and the end product was great. Great service, great color, and long lasting. We are looking at going during their Valentines Special for another round of new nails.

I literally come here to see chelsea. I wouldn’t have it any other way. She knows exactly how i like my hair and i always leave the salon looking and feeling amazing. If you’re in need of a hair change, BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH CHELSEA. You will not be disappointed. :)

Inexperienced stylists…
My appointment was at 1pm on Saturday for a single hair color change… four and a half hours later, the stylist was re-​dyeing my hair for the THIRD time because she couldn’t get all my hair the same color!!!
Meanwhile…the girl in the chair next to me was getting her hair butchered by her stylist. There was a small section of hair that was at least 3 inches shorter than the rest… I think I could’ve done a better job!!! They face you away from the mirror the entire time, so you don’t know what’s happening until it’s too fricking late!!!
My hair was turned into STRAW from all the processing:’(. I went directly home & have had my multi-​colored straw hair soaking in coconut oil since.

I arrive for my 0900 hair appt at 0845 and the front desk person said my appt was yesterday. I made this appt 2 days ago and specifically requested first thing Saturday. (Fail!) They attempted to squeeze me in but wanted me to sign for/​agree to pay double what I normally pay for roots and partial highlight… so I left. The salon looked very nice though. Probably what the extra charges are for?

I go here all the time specifically for Twee! She does amazing back massages because her hands are to die for.
I also get full facial wax and Brazilian! When I say you can trust your vagina in her hands, I mean it. Brazilians feel like a breeze when she does them.
You can also get military discount here plus wine with any service. Can you say YES?! Everything is reasonably priced but there are no massage chairs when you get a pedicure which is why I can’t give a perfect five stars. In terms of nails, they do not do tips only regular or shellac manicures.
Also a lot of hair services are offered but I have yet to do my Puerto Rican hair here so that’s about all the knowledge I have.
All in all, if you are looking for a nice reasonably priced service, this is the place.

I am only giving a 3 instead of a 1 because I have had a great experience until now. Yesterday I was told someone else was booked in my 2pm appt today so I got reschedule for 9am today just to find out the salon isn’t even open until 10. I’m very frustrated with this lack of customer service

I Thank you amnesia for fixing me!!! Well I went to another salon I won’t name for a bad double color I had done one year ago. Auburn on top and blonde on bottom. My hair actually fell out while at the salon, the blonde part. My hair was long, thick, and naturally licorice curly. I can’t believe I paid them!!! How stupid of me. But now I won’t stray from amnesia hair salon… they were great by helping me getting my hair healthy.

Thuy is amazing. I ONLY SEE HER. Nails, and Waxes. She is a master at the Brazilian wax. You’d think it’d hurt but the only thing you hear coming from the wax room is laughs. She really makes you comfortable and does a very good job. I also use her for eyebrows, and of course my manicures. I highly recommend her for services.

The salon called me back shortly after I left the review. The owner offered to have their lead stylist (Grace) fix my hair and offered me a 50% refund. Grace was incredible and the owner was very personable and friendly. I will be back.

First off… only reason they get a four and not a five is well, they’re pricey. But I only go twice a year and don’t mind splurging when I do. This being said, I have loved every experience I’ve had here.
Today, I’m getting a cut and color by Megan. She’s great, super sweet, knowledgable, and listened carefully to my requests to insure we were on the same page. Grace is my main girl though. She’s done my hair the last three visits. I love her, my loyalty is still with her. But I was in a crunch today seeing family photos are two days away, and these roots needed to go. As far as hair goes, I will keep coming. Color is always what I ask for, and even when I’m crazy reluctant on cutting anything off, they somehow work magic and cut the nasty but keep the length. Exactly what I wanted.
I’ve also had a spa package here for Mother’s Day. Ummm… just amazing. Facial, on point. Massage, on point. Pedicure, eh I’ve had better. But I blame that on the fact they brought in some extra ladies due the busyness of the day.
Overall, this is my place of choice. I won’t go anywhere else. Ask for Grace or Megan!!!

After my previous experience at a salon I was nervous to try another one. I called Amnesia at noon hoping there would be a decent stylist mentioned from one of the reviews. The receptionist booked me with Anela in less than an hour. When I arrived they offered me a bottle of water. The salon was clean and well-​kept. I showed Anela a few pictures of the color I wanted. She had to do a color correction on top of the messed up highlight job I had before. She was attentive and made sure I was included on everything she was doing. I would definitely recommend this place and Anela.

My 3 yrs old daughter gets her haircut here. Staff is friendly and good with kids. I don’t know much about haircuts, because I’ve been bald for 11 yrs but her haircut turns out to be beautiful.
And it’s cheap! What! $ 4?

If you have been to Massage Envy or Canyon Springs, you’ll feel as though you’re receiving services at the YMCA.
I purchased a living social voucher for a 50 minute massage and 30 minute facial. My appointment was at 5:00 pm today. I didn’t get called back until after 5:15 and I was on my way home at 6:20, and I’m writing is review at 6:40.
The facility is very nice looking, but the massage rooms are bright. Definitely not a relaxing environment. The fire and ice massage. Well back rub is something that can be done by your spouse. None of your kinks are worked out. They just throw in some heat occasionally, but it was nothing more than a back rub and an arm massage similar to the one you receive when you get a mani.
The facial. Consists of a hot towel on your face, a cleanse that burns, and a moisturizer oh and lip balm. It lasts about 10 of the 30 minutes if you count the 5 minutes your face is burning.
After about 15 minutes, I found myself patiently waiting to be released. It wasn’t relaxing, and so not worth the money or time.
