Greg came out and fixed my washing machine hookup that was shooting out water. He was professional, friendly and reasonably priced. He fixed it up in an hour or so and even gave me tips on how to replace the other washing machine hook up. Amazingly he did this on Father’s Day! I will definitely be calling Greg for my next plumbing job.

A huge thank you to Greg for helping out my 92 yr old grandma in a emergency situation. I called him on a Saturday afternoon and he was kind enough to pick up his phone and go to her house immediately to solve the problem.

Greg is the best! Don’t waste your time (and money) with other plumbers. Trust me on this one… just call Greg. You’ll see what I — and many others — are talking about. There’s a reason Greg has SO MANY FIVE STAR REVIEWS!
For the second time, Greg saved the day at our office! Once again, he was fast, friendly and effective. His bill was easily $ 100 less than what any other plumber would have charged for the service he provided.
If Unilocal had an option for TEN STARS, I would have awarded it to Greg.

Greg is a lifesaver!
The patient toilet at our medical practice clogged up to the point of affecting the staff toilet as well. The building management phoned another plumbing company, who came in and quoted us $ 240 to fix the problem. After sending them on their way, we turned to Unilocal and saw Gava’s Rooter — which had 29 FIVE STAR reviews!
Greg was at our business within 40 minutes, sourced the problem and fixed it effectively. His fee was extremely reasonable — saving us $ 160!!!
We just found a new plumber, and HIGHLY recommend Greg to anyone needing plumbing services.

Our toilet was clogged and Gava’s Rooter & Plumbing came out today right away. Did not even want to charge us the normal 75 dollars. Took him 10 minutes to unclog it too. If anyone needs a plumber I would definitely give them a call! Will be using them again too!

So, I have to say first and foremost, that Greg is amazing! After calling around and reading review after review for several plumbers, Greg is the one who scored my business. When he arrived, looked at my sink, in which the disposal has not worked for I have no idea for how long as I recently moved in. When I explained this, and how it does not drain well, and gave me an estimate, he by far the most reasonable. So I hired him on a Friday afternoon, and he came out first thing Monday morning. He was pleasant, professional, efficient and quick. He truly does stand by his work which is rare these days. If I ever have any plumbing problems, he will be the one I call. I would highly recommend him to everyone!

What can I say that has not already been said. His prices are fair and he does an honest and clean job. He’s organized and very importantly… he’s punctual.
You’d be wasting your time is you look any further.

First, I owe Greg this long due review for the quality of work he had provided me the past 2 occasions that I needed plumbing help. He has been genuine, transparent, and extends over and beyond the work within the scope of his job. He does not over charge, over commit and under deliver. I consider him an individual with great integrity of the work that he puts into. Lucky to have found such a excellent plumber and a good friend.

Greg is the man. I got to know him through Unilocal and Due to my other plumber that flaked on me and thank god he did. Greg stands by his work. He goes above and beyond to satisfy its customers. I have had two works with Greg so far.
I own a rental property in Whittier. Leaky galvenized drain pipe under the kitchen. Greg wanted to come the same day thats how much he cares about his customers while other top rated Unilocal plumbers were not answering their phones and thank God they did not.
There was puddle of water under the house, gnats were everywhere. Greg had to get the restoration guy to make conditions workable for him. which is totally reasonable as I did not either want him to drown lol since he told me he could not swim. Anwayz the cleanup guy did great job and Greg went in there the following day replaced the busted pipe with black pvc pipe. However greg also discovered more leaks further along the old pipe. He told my tenant that he will be back tomorrow to replace extra section of pipe. I would like to mention that This was extra work for Greg which he did not charge me anything for it. Since he did not want me to have more problems in future.
Greg went above and beyond to meet my expectations because he cares about his job and customers. He does not upsell stuff and his rates are beyond resonable.
I had a leaky grabage disposal (twice in last 3 montha) called Greg and I asjed for his recommendation on Which one to buy. He instruted me to buy a really good machine, He came and took his time and did a phenominal job putting the new disposal with beyond resonable rates. His rates are realistic and gives free estimates. His attention to detail, craftsmanship is next to none. Again, he gives you warranty and stands behind his work. Call Greg and you will see. After over priced quotes and no shows or callbacks with other plumbing services, I located Gavas Rooter and spoke with Greg. We initially set up our appointment during the week but the rain forced us to reschedule until today.
Greg showed up early and snaked the clogged drain near my washing machine. Everything was done quickly and professionally. Greg is a really nice guy and the service was awesome! I definitely recommend Greg for any plumbing work you might need, he is professional, knows his stuff and is easy to talk to as well. Thanks again for your help Greg and I’ll be calling you for any future plumbing issues or upgrades we may need!

I don’t normally write reviews unless I feel strongly about a business, but Greg at Gava’s Rooter is amazing so I thought I’d share my experience.
It was the night before Thanksgiving and my entire household was making different foods for our ‘friendsgiving’. I’m pretty sure my potato skins in the garbage disposal was the last straw, but basically our whole thing clogged up on both sides and was flooding out of our dishwasher. On top of that, our sink is connected to the neighbor’s sink so their water was coming up through our side; imagine the panic we were having when all this water kept coming out of nowhere.
Anywho, we got a quote from another company on Unilocal and they were going to charge us holiday prices up to around $ 175 which was crazy and even their ‘regular’ prices were around $ 105 so we said we’d check around for more. I called up Greg on the day after Thanksgiving (which still some companies consider a holiday???) and he was available same day. He texts (which is real convenient since I prefer text) and he arrived perfectly on time.
Not only was he super friendly, he fixed our entire sink really quick, showed me the problem of what caused the clog, and even gave me tips on what brands to buy from the store for safer degreasing methods that are less caustic to our pipes. And on top of that, his price was significantly lower than the other company’s «regular» pricing. He even accepts cash, credit, or check so you have a nice amount of options for payment.
So all in all, he was quick, efficient, informative, and very affordable. He swears by customer service, and his dedication shows in how he works and interacts with the customer. If you’re looking for a plumber, I swear just call him up and you won’t be disappointed.
Now if only other companies (like automotive) operated like him, the world would be a better place hahah

We just found our new plumber! My mom had a bathtub drain that had been stopped up for a while. We tried using a snake ourselves, but it just didn’t unclog the drain. Within a few minutes Greg unblocked the drain. He was very efficient, knowledgeable, methodical, courteous and extremely kind. We will be using his plumbing services exclusively in the very near future for other projects.

After two failed attempts with previous plumbers, it was nice to finally work with a dependable guy. We called on a Sunday afternoon and he was able to come that same evening. Greg was pleasant and professional and most of all, has the best prices out there! He cleared two of our drains so quickly. Look no further, call Greg if you want a good plumber!

Unanimous 5 stars? Really? After using Gava’s Rooter today I can definitely confirm 5 stars is right! Long story short my kitchen sink was messed up and leaking from multiple places in the piping/​joints. I tried, but I couldn’t fix it myself. I called Greg at 10AM this morning and as of 1PM this afternoon the sink is good as new. Greg is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and had a trustworthiness in his words. He sent Armando out within 30mins to inspect the problem for FREE. Armando relayed the findings to Greg who called me back with the diagnosis, solution and cost. I’m no expert but the price seemed fair to me. Parts and work even came with a one year warranty! I proceeded with the work and wa-​la! A short time later we’re good to go. Armando was great too. #awesomenewplumberfound Thanks guys!

Absolutely found my plumber as of today. What a nice, friendly man Greg is. So happy for the price he gave me and on a Sat. Thanks to Unilocal.Armando is the man who actually came out and SO nice as well. Give them a chance and you will never lose their Number.

Gavas plumbing services is the best. Greg is very professional and honest. He doesn’t try to up sell his services. I had him at my house today, for 3 separate problems, and he couldn’t find anything wrong. He didn’t even want to charge me anything for the visit, which I insisted upon, as he drove all the way to San Pedro. His prices are very fair and reasonable and he is extremely knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend him.

Greg is great! He answered quickly and he texts. I called my list of four approved plumbers and nobody responded to this job. May have been too small for those other guys. But Greg came same day to switch out two of my toilets’ flowmaster because I had a $ 500 water bill. It was constantly running after each flush.
He did it for a GREAT price. I felt like i was robbing him. That or I’m use to being overcharged by the others. I will definitely be using him again!

I highly recommend him. He helped clear my main line. I called on a Sunday morning and he gave me a decent estimated time, which he followed through with. Reasonable price and went the extra 2 yards (of unclogging)’

I honesty don’t know how I was lucky enough to find him! He came out to unclog a shower drain which has to be done from the roof top as we have no clean out. He quoted me 150.00. He fixed it by going through the drain and charged me $ 65 he also went on top of my roof and found three leaks and wanted to come back by to show my husband. He showed up the very next day with supplies to fix the roof and only asked for the amount he spent. I wrote him a check for $ 225.oo total thinking the main drain was still $ 150 he said I can’t take this it’s way to much!!! Who does that these days! We agreed on $ 125 and I was very happy! He will be my go to plumber going forward.
A lot of other plumbers were quoting between $ 225 to $ 350!
