History

Established in 2005.

Emily Lewis began her organizing career in 2005 with a focus on office organizing and makeovers. She formed Art of Space in 2007 in Bend, Oregon and soon started helping clients in their home offices as well. Relocating to the bay area in 2010, Art of Space now serves residential clients in Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville, Walnut Creek, San Francisco and Marin. Art of Space focuses on the individual’s needs and ways of being. Emily has a compassionate and caring approach when working with clients. She understands that each person has a unique relationship to their environment and the things in it. She takes a gentle but assertive approach to help people achieve their organizing goals. She believes that clearing spaces of unwanted clutter and getting things organized helps one achieve peace of mind by releasing unnecessary stress and living a more easeful and happy life.

Emily’s fascination with health, music, and positive transformation led her to the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco where she obtained a Masters in Arts in Integrative Health with a concentration in Sound & Healing.

As an Integrative Healing Arts practitioner bridging creative expression, community and well-​being, her objective is to help people live happier, healthier lives! This includes helping them create more peace and harmony with their inner and outer environments through working holistically with them at every step of the way. Emily blends her health and music background with her organizational skills bringing a unique approach to assist her organizing clients.

Art of Space has grown from a side business into a main endeavor as Emily has seen the effective positive impact she has on helping others organize their spaces. She serves residential clients in Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville, Walnut Creek, San Francisco and Marin.
