i want to say thanks to Jesse. He was great to tell me he was booked up and referred me to someone else. I really appreciate it. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is when no one calls you back. Thanks Jesse.

Jesse was great, he hooked up my IPad — AppleTV — New TV — and the new Comcast wifi, all as a whole, this process was way over my brain capacity (I’m moving on in years).
Arrival was spot on, dealing directly with Comcast on their ever so slow connections, to putting the package together. I am very grateful for if I had done it my self, well I would have had to have called him!
Plus sparing me from screaming on the phone at Comcast, a practice well known, but so tiresome.

Hi! Jesse was great but unable to fix my laptop. Some sort of irreparable defect with the motherboard. He really tried, though, for months. In the end I was refunded for the service and only paid for the diagnosis.

Jesse did a great job repairing my laptop screen and hinge. He was timely and the price was fair. He also cleaned out my fan/​motherboard so my machine runs much cooler. Very reliable and trustworthy vendor. Convenient location but the only challenge was finding parking.

I feel like I should give Jesse TWO reviews here. The first one would be a six-​star review, since he was able to re-​build my dead Hackintosh in a few days very professionally. Yes, I said Hackintosh. That’s when you put an Apple system on a PC, and it’s tricky, and he’d never done it, and he figured out how, and that was totally and completely awesome!
But the second review would be a one-​star review. I asked Jesse to save all of my data from the back-​up drive on the computer before reformatting it to become the main drive. He didn’t, and because of that, I lost everything.
He tried to do data recovery to no avail, and when he returned the computer he gave me a referral to a service, where I’d have had to pay $ 350.
Instead, I purchased an $ 85 program called Disk Drill, which was able to recover most of the data. But what it did recover had lost all of the file information. So although I have all of my family photos back, for example, there are 16,000 of them in one file, unnamed, undated, and mixed up.
He’s a good business, and everyone else gives him five stars, but I trusted him because of them and in retrospect wish I had been a little more bossy or hysterical about how he did the job.

Jesse was great. He came to our office and fixed problems for us on five devices that another highly reviewed Unilocal IT consultant had been unable to fix. He was pleasant to work with and we will definitely be calling him again when we need IT assistance.

Jesse is a top-​notch resource for folks who need computer services. He is, in a low-​key, understated kind of way, competent, efficient, effective and provides great value at an extremely reasonable cost. I would have absolutely no reservations about referring Jesse to my friends and will certainly be calling him again should I need computer services. Thank you very much, Jesse.

I am self-​employed and for years I searched for a computer services consultant who is efficient, smart, professional, trustworthy, and that can communicate well with non-​techy people (aka me) — yet reasonably priced.
After trying several different services/​people over the years who didn’t quite fit the bill, (I had one person say that «negative vibes» were «upsetting» the computer, and another tried for 8 hours to fix the PC and then finally gave up — but still charged me), I finally found Jesse Edmunds right here on Unilocal.
Jesse is absolutely the best «computer repair» person I have ever hired (he is more like a top notch computer systems consultant than a «repair» person). On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d say he is an 11 (and I don’t give out ‘10s’ easily)…My Dell PC died suddenly and he was able to come to my office and QUICKLY get it back up and running, even better than it had before it crashed! He upgraded the system, saved and moved all of my Outlook data (I thought that I lost thousands of emails), networked my Mac and PC, among other things that he «magically» fixed and saved (obviously, I am not well-​versed in computer-​ese — thankfully Jesse is very fluent!).
Bottom-​line: As a self-​employed person, my computer is my business, it goes down, my business goes down. I feel secure knowing that Jesse Edmunds’ computer services are available to help with any future computer issues that I might have. Highly recommend Jesse.

My computer came down with a virus. Just like in my nightmares, it happened right before a major project was due.
Based on Unilocal,Jesse was the first person I called. Your reviews did not disappoint! Jesse went way above and beyond to fix my computer, with a very quick turnaround time.
Jesse is professional, communicative, and reliable. He is also reasonably priced (and good at dealing with semi-​hysterical customers). I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I had multiple issues with an old computer and ended up just buying a new cone but didn’t know how to restore my documents and files from the old hardrive. I was scared that such a small service would cost me a fortune if I went to places like Best Buy or any other computer store. I found Jesse on Unilocal and impressed by the good reviews, I ended up calling him. I must say that the reviews were well deserved. Jesse is quick, efficient and inexpensive. The turn around time for a small project was literally a day and cost me about $ 85. He ended up just turning my old hard drive into an external and I still use it today as a back drive. All in all, the service was excellent!

Somehow, inexpicably, I managed to avoid the various and sundry virus’ going around. But then… YOUR’RE IN DANGER! With the help of Unilocal I was able to find help from Jesse. Knowledgeable, friendly and available… the best. Jesse worked out the problems and the kinks and I had my computer back in a few days.

I left him a message in the morning, and at noon he was calling me back. He picked up my mac (I don’t have a car) at no extra cost, diagnosed it, and brought it back when done, within a couple of days.

While Susan is many things, techno-​savvy is not really one of them.
Techno-​literate and massive nerd/​geek? Yes.
Checking the far reaches of my computer after my hacker incident to see if there are any viruses lurking in the shadows? No.
Mr. Edmund’s was friendly and professional. Super fast turn around and affordable pricing. He really seems to know his stuff-​Macs, PCs, etc… I have complete faith that he could fix anything that goes wrong with my computer.
A million times better than that so-​called «genius» bar at Apple.

Jesse is second only to not spilling water on my laptop. Unfortunately, not-​spilling-​water-​on-​my-​laptop was not an option at the time (because I spilled water on my laptop), so I consulted Unilocal and called Jesse. He was professional and communicative, and the repairs ended up costing slightly less than the (very reasonable) estimate he gave me.

My business with Jesse was slightly different-​I purchased a used computer from him. His service, however, was top-​notch nonetheless. He delivered the PC, went out of his way to recommend and obtain the appropriate cabling, and set it up himself. When it became apparent that his PC wouldn’t work with my old HDTV the way I wanted it to (not his fault) he not only found a work-​around but offered to refund my money if I wasn’t satisfied with it.

Nothing but excellent! From the response time to the actual repair and delivery, Jesse’s customer service and know-​how shows.
Pricing is definitely appropriate.
Seriously, when my other laptops craps out, I will be calling Jesse again. No one else gets to touch my stuff. I will be telling everyone about how good and honest he is.

I’m a user of Unilocal,but I actually signed up for an account just to provide this review for Jesse Edmunds. I am a small business owner with an office and a home office, so I have a small network at the office as well as similar needs at my home.
Upon coming to the office one day, I realized that our internet connection was not working and nothing I did could restore it. I do not consider myself PC illiterate, but after talking with Comcast for about an hour to no avail, I decided that it made more financial sense to call a professional in to take care of the job. Enter Jesse Edmunds Comuter Services.
I phoned Jesse and he made an onsite visit to our office the next day. Upon discusisng our issue, he insightfully tracked down the problem, which was actually a hub located in a closet in the next office. Prior to beginning his work, he gave me an estimate of the time required to diagnose and probably fix the issue, and the estimate was right on. Since we didn’t have a replacement, Jesse drove home, picked up a loaner for us from his home, and came back to install it. He left the loaner with us for about three weeks I think, at no cost! That’s SERVICE!
After restoring the internet, I decided to hire Jesse to help with some other IT projects I’d had in mind. Namely, to reconfigure our small network to include a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device, install and network a new PC, add more RAM to one PC, and get all our printers/​scanner working on all machines. Although the latter has become a challenge due to 64-​bit Vista’s incompatibility with many peripheral drivers, everything else was accomplished on time, and on budget.
Jesse was curteous, professional, and the jobs were done right. I was so satisfied, that the next time we had an issue, I called Jesse immediately, scheduled for 2 days later, and he was here again and fixed our issues again.
On this visit, I also asked him to diagnose a laptop that went «kaput» over a year ago, and without any problems he was able to figure out that it was not a lost cause, gave me an estimate of $ 150 to fix, and came in under that estimate at $ 112.50. The problem ended up being a hard drive corruption issue and all the programs, data, etc were completely saved and the laptop is working great.
I would highly reccommend Jesse Edmunds Computer Services for any small business or home IT repairs. He has proved himself to be knowledgeable, capable, and affordable. Thanks Jesse!

My laptop was stricken with some kind of computery disease. I found Jesse on Unilocal and gave him a call. He responded almost immediately and after a couple of emails I made the appointment.
He arrived right on time and after a bit of dialogue got right to work on the victim. Within a couple of hours (he quoted me 2 hours and was right on target!) he was done.
I knew going in what it would cost (approximately) his quote was right on. He does charge hourly — which is nice — because you know how much to expect and if it starts racking up — you can stop the process if it just isn’t worth it and buying a new computer makes more financial sense. Plus he gives a discount to Unilocalers! What a deal! He not only fixed the problem, I got a little discount and I have scheduled his services for another victim in our household.
He is courteous, efficient, reliable, and accurate in his assessment and fix of the problem.
