I couldn’t be happier with my wedding videos and with my experience working with Gusto. First of all, the videos came out amazingly: Gusto has a great eye for the moments that will shine on film, and even more importantly, a strong taste level and editing sense for putting video (and sound) together. The quick clips, highlight video, and wedding documentary each came out like little «feature films» that went further than simply replaying the order of events, and instead actually each told a story. His videos go way beyond your typical wedding slideshow/​montage. We also discussed beforehand the style and feeling of the videos I wanted, so that he could go into the day knowing the sentiment I wanted to capture and evoke. Working with Gusto is also a breeze because he is very responsive and professional. I worked with a lot of different vendors for my wedding, including a photographer (and photographer’s assistant) and Gusto integrated so well with them. Throughout the day, he and my photographers coordinated their approach so that no one was getting in anyone else’s way, and so that everyone got the shots they needed. Actually a lot of people thought that my photographers and Gusto all knew each other and were part of the same company because of how well they worked together! Wedding planning involves a lot of people and coordination – Gusto/​Life in Digital was easy and fun to work with, and was a vendor I could count on during the day of the wedding and for a beautiful finished product afterwards!

This review is long overdue, post wedding life flies by! We got married in October 2015. We are so happy that we were able to have Gusto videograph our wedding. It was the best decision we made for our wedding, and the crazy part is that we booked him the week of our wedding!
Long story short, before contacting Gusto we had spoken to so many videographers. They either were not responsive, 1 even double booked himself, and one even confirmed that he was available for that day and then never responded for months. At one point we almost gave up on the idea of having a wedding videographer. We contacted Gusto a month before our wedding, and right from the start he was responsive, super flexible knowing that we were on a budget. He always followed up with us until we made our decision. He’s a true professional and all around great guy! We are so happy with our wedding video! You can tell how passionate he is about his work through the video. And we loved how he always checked in with us during the editing process. It was truly meant to be for us to find him! For anyone hesitant booking a videographer, book him now! Save the headaches dealing with flaky vendors!

Gusto is by far and away the best videographer we could have had film our wedding at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma this past weekend! He came to where we got ready before and was just capturing everything. He was also one of the last vendors to leave! I couldn’t get over that he was still there at 1030pm! He’s filmed some of our friends weddings and no one has ever been disappointed. He was SO professional and delightful to be around. Gusto was the best choice we could have made in a videographer. His eye for storytelling, the way he captures small and meaningful moments, and his «cinematic» style to videography is just phenomenal. I was on the fence about hiring a videographer, as our wedding was on a super tight budget. As a wedding planner however, I am VERY aware of the love people feel for their wedding videos so I was very torn. When my business partner introduced me to Gusto I was sold. He is so affordable for the incredible video that you get, and it’s truly a work of art. On top of that he is lovely to be around, really a master of not being in the way during special moments (there are SO may videographers that have not mastered this skill) and our video looks like there were 5 shooters (nope, it was just him!). I am so thankful that I decided to hire him, as the video of the speeches and ceremony are completely priceless. Life in Digital created my Kickstarter video for Pop Karma, and we surpassed out goal by 40!!! Gusto was amazing — I had never done a video and hate being in front of the camera. He owned the project, walked me through, collaborated on the content and produced a super fast video that I love. It’s creative, compelling and has great shots. Gusto is just a blast to work with too. Life in Digital is fantastic!!!

We sought Gusto out for videography services. He is professional, affable, flexible and his prices are very reasonable for his work. This ended up being one of the least stressful part of the wedding for us, and I would readily recommend him for videography.

Gusto and his assistant Ro gave us the most amazing wedding photo shoot at the vineyards in Los Olivos. We were unhappy with photos from our wedding and decided to have them done again for our anniversary. Both Gusto and Ro are amazingly artistic, detailed and they captured the most expressive, natural and romantic photos. We were so pleased with the whole experience — the cost was so great for the amazing quality and experience! Many photographers often charge extras for everything! Digital file, edits, rights to reprint! It’s ridiculous! Gusto is so straightforward and just so good to deal with. He is so talented and artistic all around — it shows in his photography. We couldn’t be happier.

Gusto’s work on our wedding video was first-​rate. In fact, the whole experience working with Gusto and Life in Digital was excellent. From our initial meeting with him, I knew that I didn’t have to worry about this vendor (those of you planning a wedding know what I mean). Gusto listened to our vision and requests and genuinely gave me the secure sense that he «got it» and from there I let him use his creative talent to deliver us one of the best wedding videos I have ever seen. He spent the entire day with us, arriving before and staying later than the photographer even. He was so easy to work with before, during and after the wedding. He ran the videos by me several times until I was happy with every detail and sent them to me not only digitally through drop-​box but also burned the DVDs for us as well. 10 stars for this incredible videographer! It was my first time doing a photoshoot. I definitely appreciated his patience in letting me move and pose however I felt comfortable while he just took pictures – made for an awesome first experience! I am so glad I took the leap and tried this!

We did an in-​studio photo shoot last month. Gusto made my fiancée feel really comfortable during the process, and he provided some great settings and props for the shoot. His editing and touch-​up was fantastic, and he was easy to work with through every step from booking to printing.

Weddings are a once in a lifetime event and of course I wanted to have a videographer! Choosing the right one wasn’t easy… my husband wasn’t too crazy about hiring one. Searching on line and viewing on Unilocal… I found Gusto! We both agreed we liked his artistic and raw style.
Gusto stayed through the entire event, very professional and upbeat. He took the time to listen to specific details on how we wanted our videos.

This review is way over due! My husband and I chose Gusto as our videographer for our wedding on 5.25.13. We both agreed that he was our best vendor, hands down. He took the time to make sure everything was perfect, from filming to the final editing. His service was impeccable and we are so glad we chose him to capture our wedding day. We have and will continue to recommend him to friends and family.

I had the privilege of working with Gusto, I did a boudoir style shoot. He was very easy to get ahold of, any ideas or inspirations I had, I never felt hesitant to send them his way. I felt that we were on the same page as to how we saw the photo shoot going about. When i arrived at the studio, the space was beautiful, open with lots of natural lighting, and had a clean loft style feel to it. I brought a friend along who was also accommodated with drinks while she waited.
Gusto was very respectable and professional. Most important thing that stood out to me was the fact that I could play whatever genre of music I wanted. Right off the bat I felt comfortable, I was having fun while on the set, allowing that to be embodied in my pictures. Through out the photo shoot there was good communication back & forth. If he felt the photographs needed a little tweaking, he would kindly suggest a different approach to achieve the vision we both had in mind. I was able to see how the photos progressed within the day, and I was impressed. Proofs were edited within the week. Every photo I was emailed left me amazed each time. I was stunned at how tasteful they came out. I was able to gain an understanding of his vision for our photo shoot. My overall experience was a ¹⁰⁄₁₀. I would definitely refer him, and would highly consider booking Gusto for further projects in the future.

I loved working with Gusto. He is down to earth, and makes you right at home. I have never done a photo shoot before, so I was really nervous at first. He made me very comfortable in front of the camera and soon started capturing images that I couldn’t believe was me! I highly recommend him for sensual shots. He really knows how to capture beauty.

Gusto did videography for my wedding, and he was absolutely excellent on all counts: service, price, and final product.
He’s gracious and polite, thoughtful and communicative, prompt and courteous. He went the extra mile for me in many small ways. As we were reviewing and finalizing the videos, he was very receptive to my feedback and requests, and never made me feel bad about being picky.
He worked with me and my limited budget to come up with a package that felt like a great deal.
I’d been planning to use a videographer friend whose style I loved, but that didn’t work out. I showed Gusto a sample of the friend’s work and asked if he could emulate it. Gusto was honest enough to say it was new territory for him but that he’d happily give it a try. I really appreciated his willingness to try to provide me with exactly what I wanted.
The final product was three short video montages, set to music. They’re wonderful. They’re not a 100% perfect imitation of the style I’d hoped for, but that’s understandable. They’re very well done and make me happy every time I watch them. And considering the deal Gusto gave us, I feel like we struck gold.
If you use Gusto for videography, just one tip: If you plan to have him interview people on camera, you may want to give him some guidance and direction about what sorts of questions you’d like him to ask and what kinds of quotes you’re hoping to get. He and I didn’t discuss this ahead of time, and when he asked some of our wedding guests if they’d say something on camera, most just said some basic things like «Congratulations! We’re so happy for you»… I’m sure if I had talked with Gusto about this ahead of time, he would’ve been great about asking more specific questions and getting some more colorful and interesting quotes.
I’ve already referred friends to Gusto and will definitely be using him again should the need arise.

As evidence by my stunning Unilocal profile pic, I’ve used Life in Digital before. What can I say? When something’s good, gotta keep it on speed dial. So this time, I took advantage of Gusto’s killer videographer skills. I had a school project and wanted to record a interview, being low on technological abilities I gave Gusto a call. He was able to fit me into his über busy schedule and finish all the editing before my deadline. Gusto was on-​time (which believe me, is a HUGE plus), he had all his own equipment and was so personable and professional. The overall quality of the video was so awesome! And it was so affordable! I’ll definitely use him again.

If you are looking for eclectic-​yet tantalizing shots; the Life in Digital Crew will def provide them! Gusto is very professional and his turn-​over is super fast! Life in Digital shot a commercial for my company in LA recently, and I was amazed at the quality of work and customer service that Gusto provides.
