Sui Generis Custom Clothes – Joyrider Bicyclist Clothing

I LOVE JOYRIDER CLOTHING!!!
I’m a fashion addict & love riding my bike. Now I have the perfect outfit to ride in. Their knickers are super comfortable, the wool floats around me, feels like I’m wearing water. They’re easy to move around in, which is important when I’m going on a ride, & they look really cool. The arm warmers are stylin’ & great for riding because I get cold easily. The details on the clothing are amazing, they use only natural fibers, & everything’s obviously of the highest quality.
It feels good knowing that I’m wearing a Bay Area artisanal clothing brand. I know they’ll hit it big because their line is smart, unique, and fits into my life – & I got it before everyone else! I appreciate how they’re consciously trying to make clothes that are good for the environment & laborers, too.
JoyRider makes me feel good, look good, & enjoy my ride that much more. These are the kind of clothes that I’ve been looking for!

This is one of my best finds of this past year! At the Sunday Temescal Farmers’ Market there is a stall with an ancient sewing machine and a very cool woman making all sorts of things! Hanging all around the stall are the most incredible looking biking pants and beautiful waxed cotton trench coats (with vents in the back for riding on your bike without that bunchy-​feeling.) The pants are made of tropical weight wool (not itchy!) — it stays cool in the summer and keeps you warm in the winter. There are all sorts of hidden pockets with closures to keep keys, etc in without having to hoist a backpack around.
I fell in love with a pair of these delightful pants and she escorted me into her little nook and took measurements. I was not supposed to know that my husband had already made arrangements to score me a pair! Anyway, I received these custom-​made pants and I LOVE them! They are NOT low-​rise (because, let’s face it, who really wants/​needs to see butt-​crack on the bicyclist in front of you??)…they hit about knee length so nothing gets caught in gears… nothing’s near bicycle grease… I could go on and on about how well-​made these are, but I think to truly do this seamstress justice, you need to check her stall out for yourselves. Amazing fabric. Beautiful quality. Fast, friendly service. NO LYCRA! Now I need to save up for one of those coats!
