Kirsch Therapy

Our teenage son has developmental Vocal Apraxia. He has been going to Kirsch therapy for the last couple of years and we are so happy with his progress! The staff is professional but also very personable. With our sons schedule they are always so flexible, there have been times when I had the wrong day and they still worked us in! Our son enjoys going and that is what is most important to us! I have been taking my son with Autism and Apraxia to Kirsch Therapy for years. They have worked with us to secure sessions at convenient times, scheduled overlap sessions with both a speech and occupational therapist in order to meet my sons unique needs. He enjoys going there and that speaks volumes to me. I love how they get just as excited about his progress as we do! The therapists always are thinking outside the box and with a child like mine that is important. Also, they mix up the sessions to keep it motivating for him and provide him with visual supports to make sure he knows what to expect. They have helped us with his iPad AAC device setup and help him make progress within his TouchChat App, oral motor is worked on with a combination of Prompt and TalkTools. In OT they use a multi modality approach and give him lots of movement activities. You will not be disappointed if you come here!
