I’ve been here 25 years 4 sets of rims & tires. $ 2,500 stereo, exhaust MagnaFlow 3 vehicles. Problem I visited twice last week. I spoke to Shaun a couple times. Ben quoted$ 300 Blackvue dr650gw dash cam. AL & Ed sound $ 150. North County Mobile Electronics $ 80!

So this is my second time going to pro customs. And both times for the same thing, rims and tires. And both times not a planned visit. I have 22 inch rims and tires on my car. And if you have ever had large rims and low profile tires then you also know that you will eventually have a problem. They look really cool but can be a real pain in the butt. And always seems to come at wrong time .
So after the rain we had of course the streets are full of pot holes. And it’s seems like my car finds them all. After going to LA I came out the next morning to find my car on a flat tire. Further investigation revealed that the rim was cracked. So instead of taking it to a local shop where the price and turnaround time can very greatly… I used my AAA plus and had it towed back home.
So pro custom got the car on Tuesday morning and sent the rim out for repair. He informed me that it may be back before Thursday (New Years eve) but no guarantee. And the price was $ 150. Not bad. But definitely was hoping to have my car back before nye. I received call very next day that rim was ready. I went ahead and purchased a new tire and installed and out the door for about $ 360 total! Again if you know big rims and tires, tire price very widely. I got the tire for $ 189. And service was quick and easy. Less than a hour total time there. Definitely my go to rim and tire place from now on, as I’m sure won’t be my last pot hole experience.

Good price but terrible service. Pretty redundant people working there. Had to go back twice to get tires and rims installed… then was told that I had to come back to get front end alignment. Called literally 3 – 4 times a wk to set up an appt to go get it. They always either cancelled or claimed that the guy who did the alignment was sick. Demanded that they either pay up to go get it somewhere else or set up an appt right away. Went ahead and setup an appt (1 month later).the shop was two blocks away, it was dark (night appt). He claimed that was the only time the guy was available. Next thing you know there’s a huge dent on my brand new truck… there’s no way I can fight because I «walked away». Must have intentionally damaged my truck. BEWARE of this shop.

Had these guys paint my truck back in 2012. The paint looks pretty good in my opinion but had been chipping off consistently throughout the years now and they charged me a lot for it. Will not go back and would not recommend them.

Very impressed with the work I had done. The technician removed two sets of HID kits that another shop had installed sloppy without a relay. They removed the HID’s and replaced with new fogs lights and whole new headlight housing units, adding a custom look. I would recommend this place for anyone trying to upgrade their vehicle because they do good work. I did not buy wheels from them as I already have them but I did see the selection and they carry quality products and have a knowledgeable staff. I will be going back for other needs in the future.

I did some work to a 2008 F 150 here for a very good price and the work they did was great. I had them put a leveling kit, toyo open country A/​T tires, flow masters, super chip, k&n intake and two 10 kicker subs with the box and a 600watt amp. The audio shop is owned by someone else but they got it all done at the same time. I will definitely be bringing my truck my for a little more things that I want. I only deal with Shaun because the customer service from his employees is not so great. I definitely recommend this to everyone in the military and civilians as well. Shaun I will see you soon.

This place is awesome! I’ve recently moved out here after being stationed in Hawaii and was hesitant on doing any vehicle work in oceanside for obvious reasons. With that being said I did my research and found this place and i’m glad I did. Shawn (the owner) is a very friendly and straight forward guy. He will not throw BS at you and will recommend the best for whatever situation your in. He will look out for you budget and make things work (deals). I’ve had new tires and rims put on at this place and they came out great. I’m currently doing a new paint job with them as well as purchasing new tires and rims from them again to match the new paint job. I will not go anywhere else! The best service and prices are HERE!

You get what you pay for. Replaced my wheel studs for a great price. But a mess was left on my floor mats, they left the battery die so they had to jump it and I have to go to acura to get a radio code. Won’t go to the shop again.

Hands down the best prices in San Diego. Came very close to internet price on the exact rims I got. With the install, it was an easy choice. I read the reviews about the poor customer service which is far from the truth. It is a car shop! Not Nordstroms! Shawn was very knowledgable about his products and answered every question I had. Not pushy, no up selling, no bs. And to the guy who said «they need to update their décor» you sir are a fruit.

The roof of my truck was rusting for reasons unknown to me so I got a couple of quotes, one in Kearney Mesa for $ 1000 & the other from Pro Custom in Oceanside for $ 500. Although reviews were terrible on Unilocal,I decided to save $ 500 and take a chance. So glad I did. The job took a little longer than expected & the clean up job wasn’t great (dust from sanding was left inside my truck) but I can’t complain when I paid half price & they did a great job otherwise.

Went here looking to get a leveling kit with install. Got a quote for 290 with alignment which Is a great deal. Took a little longer than told but came out looking great. The area where it was installed was all cleaned out so there wasn’t any foreign matter in between the new parts and my truck. I had no problem with the staff there. I guess that Is dependent of how you act towards them. Overall best price around for good work. I dealt with Shawn and he is a pretty chill guy.

I recently purchased wheels and tires from Pro Custom in Oceanside for my Dodge Ram 1500 and had a great experience. I shopped around in San Diego and the internet and surprisingly they had the best price. Additionally, they were very thorough with their follow up. Other places said they would get back to me with pricing and did not. Pro Custom did everything they said they would do. It is definitely a «dude» shop and they aren’t overly friendly but who cares?! I am a woman who was buying wheels and tires and they were extremely informative and addressed my concerns over the other negative reviews. After doing research, other reviews recommended SD wheels and tires but this place beat their price hands down and was more convenient for those of us who live in North County.
