Pro Tint

I recently had our windows tinted by Pro Tint. The tint as of now seems to be ok however I am extremely dissatisfied with their service. During the tinting process they removed my 2 yr old daughters car seat and put it back exactly how it was without reattaching the anchors. Not once during the checkout process did they inform they had detached the car seat. When I called to express my concern that they put my child’s life at risk they tried to blame it on CA law that they were allowed to unattach but not reattach to which I said I understand but you need to let the customer know you’ve removed their car seat OR put it back differently so it is obvious it was removed. Then he proceeded to tell me they always tell everyone but they were super busy. Glad to know their super busy is worth more than a child’s life. I would never recommend this irresponsible business!

They tinted 3 of my cars in 2011 with pro tint. They have friendly staff, give you a great service with an affordable rates. I will definitely take my future cars to them for tinting. 5 stars

I’ve had two cars tinted here and I’ve had a positive experience both times. I will refer them to friends and return here again, myself. I wish I recalled the mans name who helped me this last time because he was very friendly and professional with me.
But in some ways, I can understand the mixed reviews… Here’s my take on it:
— their pricing is very competitive. However, they do not have a menu of pricing posted for their customers. This makes pricing ambiguous and subjective which leads to mistrust by the customers.
— the quality of their work is good and it’s done fast. However, their shop is cluttered, unorganized, and dirty which may cause new customers to expect poor quality of work.
— I’m a big fan of uniforms — and they don’t require uniforms. This makes the shop appear less professional which translates to less than professional conduct from their employees.
Bottom line is that if you can look past the surface of appearances, then this is a good place for business and their work can be trusted.

I don’t know what all of these negative reviews are about. Went In last Tuesday and was helped by Sam who was very courteous and polite. The quote I was given over the phone never changed and the wait time of 2 hrs was only 1hr and 15 mins! A week later and my windows still look great, no bubbles! Great job guys!

Ok, ok. I’ve seen the other reviews and they aren’t the most positive. As for my experience, it wasn’t bad, but I feel like some of the guys there need to learn basic customer service skills.
Shawn, the owner, is pretty good and got me scheduled the day I called. The guy who actually tinted my windows tried to give me some runaround and quoted me a different price than what Shawn had quoted and told me he couldn’t do it that day. I stood my ground and the worker bee eventually changed his tune.
Aftermath: the windows only took 2 hours to do and I was on my way. Shawn thanked me for my business. 2 weeks later, the tint still looks good.
Bottom line: if you come here, talk to Shawn and be firm when dealing with his worker bees. Decent tint.

Over priced, horrible tint job and bad customer service. Stay away its simple

First time here for Tinting and this place is the pits. Worst window tinting job possible and I’ve got 10 cars tinted in as many years to prove it. They dont clean the windows before setting the film on the windows leaving thousands of little dust spots all over the place. They also dont fit/​cut the film to the window properly so light passes through the corners. They are completely careless. My car was wet all over and I had to dry it myself. I’m contemplating removing all the tint and having it redone somewhere else. Stay away from this place.
Other services here are alright but its a hit or miss case by case basis. Buyer beware.

Either they got a new tint guy or my luck with window tints is just horrible. I took my truck back into them this past Saturday and they looked at it. They agreed to «fix» it but I had to take it in on Monday, so I did. After 10 minutes the guy came out said they didnt like how it came out fixed so they where going to replace the entire tint film on that window. 30 minutes later I got my truck back and everything looked good, except that the entire door from the inside was soaking wet. Door panel, window switches, cup holders, everything was wet. I didnt care and took off. This morning I find another freaking bubble, maybe half and inch long on the very bottom of the window.

I got my car window tint down here in 2004. This shop was recommended to me by a friend after I asked him where he got his tint done. They did a good job and if I remember correctly it wasn’t too expensive. I got the darkest tint they had and never had any problems with it. Well until my truck got stolen but that’s another story!
I’ve got a new car now so I’ll go back here to get my new tint.
