A Coin Shop

This is the place to go for a real down to earth and honest to goodness coin shop experience. I have bought items from Joe and have had him buy from me. In no instance was I ever disappointed with the fairness of the transaction either way. A couple of my favorite items I got through Joe!
Over the last couple of months I have recommended that a friend of a friend take her coins and jewelry to Joe for his honest appraisal and possible purchase. After both of the meetings that we had there at his shop on 13^th Street she told me what a good time she had and how much she enjoyed his genuine and helpful attitude and she was very pleased with how she was treated. She did not sell him all of her items. He even recommended another place we could go with some of the items that he was not in the custom of buying. This referral also turned out to be good for this woman.
Overall I recommend A Coin Shop because of the fact that if you do not have a good experience dealing with Joe, it’s because you are going in with the wrong attitude, not the other way around. This place, because of the guy running it, is as good as it gets!

Looks like John D. is the man with a bad attitude. I have had nothing but positive experiences in this place.
The owner is genuine and beyond generous. Watching him purchase some «junk» for his shop in order to help a woman meet her rent check was quite possibly one of the kindest things I’ve seen.
Maybe John D. will have better luck at a place like Sols, where they «care» for their customers.
