Top Gun Paint And Body

Had one of the worse business experiences at this body shop. In my opinion they lie to get you in and change it after.

I brought by the shop my truck that needed some body work to the fender and door. I was greeted by Richard the owner of the shop. He gave me a great price to fix the body work needed. We scheduled the job. When I picked up the truck the work was great me and wife were pleased with work. I did notice a minor problem, so I showed Richard, promptly he made a call to his wife to get what he needed to fix it. As we waited one of the employees did the minor repair and it was perfect. We also noticed that he was fixing a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador. So I thought that this shop does exotic car also, so being I have a Lexus LX 470 needing body work. I gave the job to fix it. I took in my Toyota Camry in for a little less than 5k job. My paint looked mat, a piece of my vehicle flew off on the fwy, I took it back four times to get the door placed on correctly, it’s been approximately a year now they said my paint would outlast my old paint it actually looks worse than my original paint and I have bigger than quarter size chips & I can hear air seep in through my door I’m so displeased I don’t even bother to go back to ask them to fix it because the end result is still the same. Over promisers and under deliverers. I would classify this place as a nightmare worst place to trust even with there so called nice people card they play which, their really good at by the way. Maybe a scratch fixer but never a big job even if they say they supposedly can.

My experience with this shop has been nothing short of disastrous. I brought my car to Top gun in august. I too was given a bunch of broken promises, They were more than friendly up to the point where I signed the Insurance check… This was my first accident and i didn’t know that Signing the check over also meant. That you don’t have a say in the end result… They stated that the check needed to be signed to order the parts… DONT DO IT… They want the check to be signed so they get paid in advance. Any reputable shop Wont ask for payment UNTIL THE WORK IS COMPLETED.
This shop REEKS of AMMONIA from all the dogs they have there.
I was Told my car would be completed in a week… It spent over a month there, where i continuously had to babysit the shop because i felt my car was not in good hands, and was stuck after I had signed the check… Every time i went back something was either broken, Or put together wrong, or things unpainted… Never in my life have i had to feel like i had to babysit a shop in order to make sure the job was done right… They are supposed to be the experts!
After signing the check it took them 3 weeks to order the parts, and then they rushed me out the door because they had some SEMA cars coming in. basically slapped my car together. No attention to detail or quality.
When I got my car back Parts were broken, It had Paint Runs, RUST, The Doors were sagging and the paint was chipping between the fender and the door. Parts of the car were unpainted, and my car was literally ZIP TIED TOGETHER.
The rubber window seal was torn by one of the workers, they tried to pass the blame on to me that i brought it to them that way. (i had picture taken before hand that proved otherwise)
The very next day, my car battery was dead, (they broke a ground wire near the tail light, once again passed the blame on to me).
The new headlight they installed, didn’t work. They Mashed a Ball of copper wire inside the connector to make it work… HAD THAT SHORTED OUT AND CAUGHT FIRE… Who would be the one paying for a replacement car?
I was given a 5 year warranty, and they did not honor their work. They did not fix the things that were wrong.
If you decide to Have your car worked on here. Do these 3 things.
1. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, NO VERBAL AGREEMENTS
2. TAKE PICTURES BEFORE YOU TAKE THE CAR THERE
3. DON’T SIGN A CHECK BEFORE THE WORK IS COMPLETED!
I will never recommend this shop to any car enthusiast out there. To the UN-​knowledgable customer. Their work may seem «good», But to anyone who wants a quality job and a shop they can trust, I would shop elsewhere.
Quotes for the «repairs» to get my car fixed else where, THE CHEAPEST was 4400 $. That might be something to think about before you pay for work done.

This is my experience. They promise to take care of my car. It sat and they didn’t contact the insurance I had to do the leg work. They made promises then as soon a the insurance check arrived they changed their mind and retracted their commitment. They are not people who keep their word and become vindictive when they don’t get their way. If a zero star existed that would be my rating. That’s my experience and opinion. Hope yours is better. I would never recommend anyone to this shop. I wish a zero rating was available

Great people beautiful work! Did my toyota and I love it. Pricing was the best I found.
