Inland Valley Rv

Had a trailer wiring issue and call Inland to see if they could help me out. Was told to come right in. I figured I would be sitting around all day but ½ hour later, they told me all fixed and gave me an extra fuse just in case!
Great service and very happy with results!

I went to Inland Valley RV, a place I have been many times before, to have some repairs to my electrical system. The switches at the stairwell were damaged. A fuse was blowing. The generator would not start from the cockpit. The drivers side mirror was damaged and needed replacing. I was told to bring in my coach on Monday at 8:30.
Monday at 10:00 I brought my coach in (phoned ahead to say I would be late and got an OK). When I arrived they could not find my appointment. The service manager I had talked to was out all week. Finally they found it for next Monday. OK, I will accept most of the blame for a miscommunication.
Not to totally waste a trip I took the guy (who appeared to be the guy in charge that day) around and showed him what the problems were. Then I went home.
Next Monday I brought in my coach, told the original service guy again about the problems and went home.
When I got a phone call that the coach was ready I went down to the shop. I was told the unit had been checked and that everything was working so the worker had removed the wire from the fuse! The charge, about $ 500. I asked about the other problems («everything was working»). The generator would not start because «there was less than a quarter tank of fuel» and since I had less than a quarter tank, they didn’t check it, but would for an extra charge. The stairwell switches that were broken and disassembled (remember «everything was working») had not been touched. When I said I needed them I was told that they would call me when it was done. At the call I returned to the shop. The switches were replaced for an additional $ 200. Somewhat miraculously the short had disappeared and they had replaced that wire. In the stairwell is a three-​way switch for house lights. The service manager stood by the stairwell switch and I went to the hall switch and we flipped them back and forth, the light went off and on. It seemed to work correctly, at least with the service manager on one end. When I got home I found that you could turn the circuit off and on from the hall switch, and if it is ‘on’ then you can turn the lamp off and on from the stairwell but if the hall switch were ‘off’ the stairwell switch did nothing.
They are going to call me when the replacement mirror comes in…
Over $ 700 and realistically nothing has been improved. I do have new switches but they are incorrectly wired. Could I recommend this place? Not a chance.

I was looking for a company to do a repair on my boat trailer and found Inland RV on Unilocal.I had called several places looking to have the wheel studs replaced and found Inland RV to initially be the cheapest. Upon talking to the first rep over the phone he suggested that since they would be working on the axles I might as well have the trailer serviced. He quoted $ 375.00 plus any incidental parts (he said on the phone I might need to replace a spring and implied nothing major).
I dropped the trailer off the following day and signed for the original $ 375.00 quote. I also requested a quote to have the jack replaced on my trailer. After leaving the trailer I got a call from another gentleman Richard stating that there were several parts on the trailer that needed repaired and my bill was jumping to over $ 700.00, $ 100.00 of which was the added jack replacement. I was a little shocked, but really had no other choice since the trailer was already there and I was limited on time. I agreed to the repair and they stated the trailer would be ready later that day.
I dropped in later without a phone call letting me know everything was done. Upon arrival the second gentleman Richard who called me for the repair greeted me and said my trailer was done. He went over the bill and said the jack was out of stock and wanted to know if I wanted to still pay for it. I declined and let him know I would pay when he got the part. He reduced my original bill from $ 860.00 to $ 799.00. I asked why he only reduced it $ 60.00 when he was charging $ 100.00 for the jack, and he said he took $ 100.00 off but had to add $ 40.00 for another part. Again, I just agreed and paid my bill.
I left the location and towed my trailer home, once home, I angled my truck like I always do to back it in and the trailer would not engage in reverse. I got out of the truck and noticed someone had removed the reverse lockout key and now my truck and trailer were stuck because I could not go backwards. I called Inland RV and Richard said he would look for the missing piece and call me. After 30 minutes with no call back, I snapped a picture of where the key was removed, left my truck stuck where it was, and borrowed my wife’s car and drove back to the shop.
I again got Richard and showed him what was missing on the picture I took and showed him it was clearly tampered with and he took me in the service area to look for it. He brought the mechanic over who said he didn’t touch it. Someone was clearly lying. First and foremost the trailer would not have been parked where it had been parked without the key being removed unless they forcefully pushed the trailer with the wheels locked. Secondly, they would have never been able to test the master cylinder of the brakes without the key being removed, meaning they charged me for parts that could have never been tested to see if they were bad.
I returned to the sales floor with Richard and he agreed with me that the mechanic had just lied. He then said they do not carry the lockout keys and he would call around and locate one for me which he did at another trailer shop (the one I should have gone to in the first place). He told me I could go and pick it up. I was absolutely fuming to say the least. I was not able to go to the other location as it was in the complete opposite direction and it would have taken quite a bit of time in rush hour traffic.
I left the location to head home to figure out how to move my truck. On my way home I called Richard and told him how incredibly disappointed I was in the business and he said the owner would call me in the morning. A short time later Richard called me and said the manufacture of the key said you could use a nickel in its place. I was able to use the nickel and get everything out of the street and my truck disconnected.
The following day Richard called and left me a message saying he had gotten me another key. I stopped by a few hours later to pick it up and met the owner of the business. He let me know he had gone to my house and looked at my trailer and left the key on my porch. He talked to me for a bit as I expressed my concerns about how the situation was handled. I expressed to him that someone had to be dishonest in this situation and I would have been fine if someone would have just said they removed the key and misplaced it rather than leaving me in the street unable to go in reverse.
The owner basically gave me the old line about how a man is only as good as his word. He then asked if I still wanted the jack. I told him I did because I still needed it, he said it was ordered and he would call me once it was in… haven’t heard from him yet… found the same jack on Amazon that I need for a lower price with free next day shipping…
I guess the owner and his associates are only as good as their word!!!

Have brought my RV in several times and have finally found a place I could trust! Very happy with the service they have provided and with the last repairs I had done there, I had a family emergency that prevented me from driving my motorhome home and Pete the owner actually drove my motorhome back to my home., that’s what I call customer service! Highly recommend Inland Valley RV for your RV repairs and they also a great RV supply store as well!

I brought it there to reseal the front roof strip on a class C, a new piece of panel on the inside ceiling, and new front vent cover. They looked at it and then gave me an estimate of 625 to 750 dollars.
I thought pretty steep, but with the good reviews I read I’ll try it.
They called a few days later and said can you pick it up this afternoon. I asked if there were any bad surprises with the repair and he said no.
When I got there the bill was — — — –1193.01!!! How the H can an estimate go up that much when they personally looked at it first and said there were no surprises found in the repair!!!

I have to add an update on this review-​I recently got an email from the owner’s wife basically apologizing and offering a $ 100.00 credit towards service. I thought give me a break. But then I received a call from the owner Pete asking if he could ask me what happened and he would appreciate it if I would be willing to talk to him.
So I brought the estimate and receipt with me. After I told him what happened he apologized and explained that he’s been sick and not able to be in the store much-​however he’s back now and after finding other problems some employees no longer work there. I told him the «seal job» still leaks-​he said he would fix it no charge, just let him know when I could bring it in. I rechecked it with a hose to verify the site of the leak (still the same) and I’ll be taking it in as soon as I can.
Hopefully the leak will be fixed-​and I am pleasantly surprised that this business owner responded once he saw my bad review to try to rectify the problem-​a rare occurance now a days!

For basic repairs on a new trailer or couch, this place isn’t bad. But anything challenging that takes time, this place will basically run you off.
The owner and manager seem to get overwhelmed with just the thought of a average project. I have had multiple trailers that I brought here and received the same response from the owner and manager.
I think they would be happy with one RV at a time.
There’s other places that welcome the business, I suggest finding those first.

I purchase all my RV products from this location. More recently, I utilized their repair services — my toy hauler came back looking like new! It was amazing how they fixed the fiberglass and the trim! I was so impressed, I referred the owner of the 5^th wheel that hit my hauler. Great customer service and great people.

This business employs a man named Sky. Sky broke the front window on our camper and tore the arm off our hatch. He promised to take care of these things but after we paid him over eight hundred for a job quoted at three fifty, he stopped returning our phone calls. DO NOT USE SKY At Inland Valley RV!

Friendly and Courteous Customer Service. It makes me want to Work There! They gave me some great advice for my trailer swaying problem… I had two veteran trailer pros who took the time to narrow down the problem for me, and then the service technicians walks in and gave me some great ideas as well.. All for Free!. Several weeks later, I called them to see if they had the part in, and this nice lady who answered the phone was very polite and helpful. Looks like over here you’ll find some real nice people here who have great customer service skills that’s hard to find nowadays, it reminds of a genuine good old fashioned handshake while doing business.

Just discovered this place. Excellent service, well supplied showroom.

This place is awesome! I am new to rv-​ing and have many questions as I learn the ropes. Pete, Dave, and John are all one of a kind! They always have time for you and give you all the advice, tips, and info you may need! All done with a smile on their faces and awesome customer service. They have everything you need. Do yourself a favor a go support this truly mom and pops place that still does business the way it was meant!

After a bad experience with Family RV in Ontario. It was refreshing to receive outstanding service from the people at Inland Valley RV. The owner and employees are true professionals. I will return to Inland Valley RV for all future service to my RV.
