People normally come to donut shops before work. That being said, I decided to stop by here to grab a dozen for the shop and some coffee for myself. I walked into an empty shop with one guy yakking away on his Bluetooth ear piece. He sees me and says nothing. I let out a little whistle to say«hey, customer here». He looks at me and continues to talk on his phone. He was making donuts, I get it, donuts don’t make themselves but you’re making them for customers. Here I am! Once I saw him take the donuts from the fryer with his bare hands I opted against the dozen. I’ll just grab a coffee instead. I waited and waited and waited. I was in the shop for a total of 15 minutes without even a nod from the guy. I left without a word and will never EVER return. Service, food handing, coffee is probably questionable considering the methods of preparation. I would advise others to stay away as well. Especially if you are thinking of a «quick» stop at the donut shop.

The donuts taste too much like oil. The worst thing was that there was a piece of metal in the one I ate. Maybe it was just a bad day or a bad batch but I don’t think I’ll be going here ever again.

I went to this place with my mom and it was actually the first time I had a bad experience, my mom had ordered a coffee and there was another lady who got a dozen donuts and has he gave her, her change a cockroach just ran across the cashier table and my mom just started to laugh and the lady jumped the guy is also kind of a dick lol.

I keep coming back for the boba. It’s delicious! As far as the donuts go, I have never gotten one that was hot and fresh. I think they bake them in the morning and keep them until they sell… which could be days. That’s my opinion anyway. They’re always hard and cold… but the guy is nice enough and the boba is great. So I shall return…

Over priced and stale, this is the only shop within walking distance and that just bums me out because it’s not good. Hardly any filling inside of jelly and bar doughnuts .plus for three doughnuts not even big ones it’s was almost 8 $. In oxnard I can’t recommend any doughnut store it’s better to just drive into camarillo for rolling pins instead of wasting you time money and calories.

Can’t really go wrong with a donut shop! I turn into Homer Simpson every time I go in, I LOVE it!

I’ve been getting doughnuts from here for years and after my last experience, I maybe finding somewhere else. The gentlemen who runs this place is nice and personable although he can be hard to understand at times due to a language barrier. This time, a lot of the non-cake doughnuts tasted stale, which is weird because doughnuts I’ve bought from here in the past have lasted days while still tasting fresh. I’m not sure if they changed up their formula or what, but it definitely isn’t like what it once was.

I went there on National Donut Day. This is a nice place. The facility is very clean and well kept and maintained. When I went there you could see that they had had a very busy day and were busily making fresh donuts. They didn’t have my favorite, old fashioned, because of the obvious busy day they had. I did however get a dozen and the clerk kindly gave me a bakers dozen(1 extra) to accommodate. I’ll go back soon!

I found my new sandwich place. This place makes breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They are better than Quiznos and Jersey Mikes. Sandwiches are just like home, everything is fresh. The donuts looks so perfect they should be in a contest! They even sell Boba. It’s a family owned store. The employees are very nice, polite and friendly. I definitely recommend visiting SpudNuts!!!

I’ve been coming here since it first opened and I was shocked to get a stale doughnut. No worries, I had gotten 2 doughnuts for myself. So I bit into the next doughnut and immediately spit it out. Something in the icing tasted rancid! VERY disappointing! My friends and I have always loved this shop, so it was heartbreaking to see the quality drop so terribly. I’m now driving to the other side of town for my doughnuts.

Pros: Large donuts. Sell boba drinks. Cons: When they warmed the croissants(I got cheese and ham), wished it was hotter and wasn’t enough ham and cheese for me. Wished they had jalapenos to give it some spice cause otherwise it tasted a bit old. The spudnuts at Port Hueneme is way better. More variety.

Our sons go to a Tae Kwon Do studio close by and this Spudnuts store is a fave choice for afternoon snacks. I live their ham and cheese croissant and most especially their Thai tea boba smoothie. Their boba is always cooked well, not hard at all. It’s true that the guy is always on the phone but he is very cordial and attend to us nevertheless. We have particular faces such as the Choco frosted donuts and the donut holes.

Good doughnuts, terrible service. When a customer walks in, get off the phone and take the order.

I’ve heard of these and never tried them, so today is the day. The donuts were delicious, fresh, and light. And the service was super! The guy working the counter was very friendly and patient as I figured out what I wanted. If I’m in the area again I would definitely make a return visit.

Okay, so there’s always been a Spudnuts on Victoria and Channel Islands and only been there once like a long time ago. I was in town this past weekend and my little brother wanted boba and the closest place was Spudnuts at this location next to Fresh and Easy. I was surprise how big it was compare to what I remember from the other location. They have tons of smoothie choices and their donuts looked so yummy, but I was able to control myself :) The very next day BF and I were craving some boba so we stopped by Spudnuts before heading back to the OC. While my BF was deciding which smoothie to get i spotted Custard filled donut holes — MYFAVE! They were 4 for a Buck, so I got a dozen… it might be just me, but it’s rare to find a donut store that has custard filled donut holes so i got so excited. This place is danger when I’m in town now… Their boba drinks are $ 3.75(one size), they charge 50 cents for paying with a card, so I suggest to bring cash. As for the employee, he needs to cheer up and actually show some kind of service instead of just handing me my drink and turning his back right away without saying anything if he has a tip jar in front of me. You know what that means, no good service = no good tip or any at all…

I was in town for a business trip and stayed at a near by hotel. My buddies found this place on Unilocal,so we stopped in for some breakfast. I love going to bakeries and donut stops early in the morning when everything is usually fresh from the oven. It’s like you can see those cartoon air waves from the donut’s scent pulling me into the shop. For Breakfast: Ham and Cheese croissant, Cinnamon bun, Crumb Donuts, and some bottled green tea. Thoughts: The ham and cheese croissant was simple with a reasonable amount of cheese and ham. There was more breading than needed but that might be a good thing for bread lovers. I like my ham and cheese croissants to be extra hammy and cheesy where my bites oozed with cheese coming out. The cinnamon bun was very delicious. We got it immediately after it came out of the oven. Yippee! It was sweet to the tongue and warm in the mouth. The bun was soft and moist inside and out and tasted really sweet. Too much icing but I ate it anyways because it was fresh from the oven and so fresh. The crumb donut was large and tasty. It made those little 6 pack ones I usually buy from the vending machines to survive a night class look extra dinky and at a reasonable price too! For Service: I’m not sure if the person who helped us this day was the owner or not but he was super sweet. He offered to warm up our food which we would have eaten cold if he had not told us about that option. Who wouldn’t like their food warmed up for them? He also picked the cinnamon bun from the batch that just came out of the oven instead of the one on display. Extra brownie points for showing us breakfast newbies from out of town your awesome customer service. Thanks again for waking up my zombie-ish crew with your delightful breakfast selections. :)

Love, love spudnuts! Especially they filled custard holes! However this place charges 4 for a $ 1! Maybe prices have gone up?
