He’s always on time, or if a few minutes out, always calls or texts me. He’s super clean and cleans up after himself. As both a plumber and heating specialist, he can be invaluable with most issues. If he can’t help you, he will help you find the right people to assist you. I consider him to be a perfectionist since he will take the time to diagnose your problem and find a long-​lasting solution, not just jerry-​rig it to just get by. My heating system was down several days ago, I searched around for the help. Either no response after I left a voice message or telling me I had to order the part myself which will surely take longer than I expected. I found Ron by Unilocal and talked to him as well as sending him photos of the possible broken part. The 2^nd day Ron came with the newly bought part and helped to fix the system promptly. The price is also very reasonable! Highly recommended!

Great customer service! Ron was right on time and he took the time to explain what he was doing. Very patient, very personable! In fact, he diagnosed the problem over the phone and made sure he had the rights parts he needed for the repair. My bathroom sink was leaking water from the drain pipe. He made extra sure the leak was fixed. I also had a secondary issue of the water draining slowly and Ron was able to clear the blockage as well.
I would definitely recommend Ron! He’s also very neat and makes sure he cleans up and doesn’t leave a mess behind.

Called Ron at eight PM on a Sunday night. He was here at nine AM Monday morning to install a new water heater. Totally professional, friendly, and did a fantastic job with the new water lines and gas pipe going to the new water heater. Super reasonably priced as well. Was expecting to pay 2000.00 dollars based on other Unilocal and google reviews. Total for new water heater, labor, and haul away was 1200.00 bucks! Highly recommended, and he is a local guy to boot!

Ron’s been doing work at my house for over 1 years, from plumbing to heating. Today he came in early to remove my old heater and install a new Trane XR80, at a great price. When I got home, I couldn’t tell he’d been here, except for the new furnace and thermostat: he’s courteous and respectful of your home! I’d be glad to recommend him!

Ron was responsive and courteous. I had a mystery leak that he helped figure out and repair and really made my day. I was so stressed because the leak was over my furnace but Ron was professional and took care of it. He was careful and concerned about my house and not tracking stuff on my floors. My heater was not working. It was not firing up. Our first service call to Bragg heating, which misdiagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate of over a thousand dollars. I authorized the work which was done but the furnace still wouldn’t work. Then they said it was the circuit board for which they said was no exact replacement, and recommended replacing the furnace for over $ 4000. Then I called Maintech Service. Ron Sheehy came over in 15 minutes. The man is one of the most honest guys I have met. Within 20 minutes he shows me the problem. I see the burnt circuit board. He manages to get the exact replacement part within 45 minutes. His total cost was $ 325. His costs are more than reasonable. He knows what he is doing. And for sure he is a trustworthy person. What more can you ask from a repair service. Hands down he deserves 5 STARS. Heating or plumbing be assured that you’ll get honest quality service for an honest price.
