Pacific Manor Ace Hardware, Paint & Nursery

This is a grate place to shop at! I is also a grate place to work for! I worked here for 3 years when i was in college. I’m on the road all the time now and have to go into different hardware stores all the time and I swear you can not beat the hardware selection of this place. Dave, Damon, Jessie and the crew have done a grate job on this store and picked out a very knowledgeable staff. This is still my go to place to get hardware at and i’m sure you’ll love it too. Plus its always better to support your local businesses over the big box B.S.

Everyone at the Ace Hardware in Manor is so incredibly helpful and kind. I come in for so many things! I love getting plants from Dottie and her great selection in the back. Today, I was in there because my bolt broke off in my trailer hitch for my bike. I had no idea how to fix it, came in there and John fix it for me! John totally helped me out and got me a new wrench that fits! I love this Ace!!!

The guys who work in the hardware dept are super helpful and always nice. They reduction of stars is for the plant lady.
She is so unbelievably overbearing. This ace is so close to my house, convenient if I need a spur of the moment gardening item. She has made every one of my shopping trips so uncomfortable, I would now rather drive further away for some piece of mind. I have tons of plant experience in the plant industry, so I don’t require much help, but today I went in looking for a specific product (which they didn’t carry, that’s totally okay). I was given asinine suggestions of what I SHOULD be using instead of what I needed. I came in for an item on purpose, not to be be made out as an idiot for needing what I need. Only go here for plants if you are a moron, cuz that’s how you will most likely be treated by her…

I needed a couple of replacement screws. I was greeted and helped right away and was walking out of the store with what I needed in less than five minutes. If I was at Home Depot, I’d still be wandering the aisles. Thanks for the great service, Ace.

I came in looking for drain covers and I left with some beautiful succulents. In addition to their drain cover selection, there’s an even more impressive plant nursery out back. And if you like succulents, you’re in for a real treat! There’s a nice selection available with a variety of colors, textures, and sizes. The woman in charge of the nursery is super helpful and takes good care of them. It was drizzling when we came and she was quick to cover them up.
I’ve joined the San Franciscans-​obsessed-​with-​succulents crowd, but it’s actually not an ideal place to grow succulents. Succulents are native to arid regions so the foggy weather of the Bay Area isn’t ideal. However, that doesn’t stop this nursery from carrying many different types.
For an Ace Hardware/​nursery, this is as good as it gets. With great service and an abundance of plants, what more could you want? :)

The Manor store is the BESt out of Pacifica’s two Ace Hardware stores. Staff members are welcoming and super helpful; if they don’t have what you need in stock, they will happily order it in to the store for you. Also, the plant nursery out back is a hidden gem, and is staffed with the friendly and knowledgeable Dolly.

The friendly staff are helpful and knowledgable. The plant lady is full of great advice. We are lucky to have this place in the PA.

Both owners work shifts there. Old school customer service. When you walk you are always greeted and ushered to the appropriate area. 95% of the time they have what I want in stock and priced very close to Home Depot prices. Besides, I would gladly pay 30% more here to avoid the crappy customer service at Home Depot or Lowes.

The Nordstrom’s brand of customer service might have been invented here. Walk in the front door and an employee will immediately help you out, not in a slimy, trying-​to-​make-​more– money-​out-​of-​you way, but with genuine care to ensure that you have what you need for your project as quickly as possible. What is your time worth? Come to this clean, well-​organized, local hardware store just once and you’ll never want to go anywhere else again.
p. s. The garden center in the back is a hidden gem with Dolly’s expertise and great coastside selections. :)

Amazing service!
Came here after no one would help me at homedepot. Jesse helped make my shopping list quick and easy. I was in and out in no time! He really went above and beyond helping me count and organize over 50 Nuts and Bolts!

Came in for a replacement screw and bolt for my toilet. Jesse helped helped me look for one, but after realizing the bolt diameter and length I needed was pretty unique, Jesse came up with an alternative by macgyvering a basic threaded rod and a nut. I came in not knowing what to look for and came out with what I needed. Very nice people at the store and very knowledgeable.

This place and the customer service is amazing here! They all are super helpful and want to help their customers… Best neighborhood hard ware store.

Mad Mad Love for my local Ace in Pacifca!
I called this morning and asked if someone would help gather various succulents, cactus soil and ground cover so that my husband could pick up everything I would need to create succulent planters.
Holly was so helpful and patient with me over the phone. I’ve got limited mobility so I was not able to go pick out the items myself, but Holly described everything to me. I told her that I trusted her completely to pick out great items and gave her my $ budget.
Holly also gave my husband a website to pass along to me later with information on how NOT to kill these things (hurrah!).

Friendly, neighborhood hardware store. The people here take time to help you out and make sure you get what you need. Much better than the depot or lowes.

I never would’ve thought coming to a hardware store would be so enjoyable. I’ve been here a few times now and every single time I step through the door there’s someone there immediately greeting me with a kind and genuine «hello may I help you find anything?» They’re actually all so eager to assist me and happy to assist me. They’ve trained every staff to understand the word customer service and they truly wow me as a customer. They remind me of the movie happy feet because they’re all so happy that it makes me smile and ready to dance when I’m in there because I’m just so incredibly happy with their service. I commend all the workers there, each and every one of them and thank you for always making it such a pleasure to visit. I especially appreciate Danny, Dolly, and Damon. These people have such a positive attitude and truly knowledgeable and enjoy what they do. Even if you don’t need anything just come here when you’re down and you’ll feel the happiness right away.

Nice little hardware store. I just wish they’d stop constantly asking if I need help every time I walk in. It’s like the employees are so bored they just stalk you, desperately looking for a chance to help. I’m afraid to turn the corner into the next aisle because there will probably be another employee there asking if I need help finding something.

It’s been way too long since my last update. However this Ace Hardware location remains an excellent local choice for finding the parts you need for your projects. And not just finding the parts, but receiving great customer service before during and after the sale. Still even go so far as to order new stickers for your ace rewards program in the event your current stickers are unreadable or your credit card has been replaced and your stickers are no longer available. I know they can look up your ace rewards program by a your phone number, but it’s that extra little bit of service this store is happy to provide that makes all the difference when visiting your local hardware center. As before, I recommend Pacific Manor hardware as an excellent local hardware store to fulfill your hardware needs.
