Afsaneh’s Spa Salon

Afsaneh really knows what she’s doing. And I get the color I want without all those chemicals. My dear friend, David, loved, loved, loved my hair after a cut and color from Afsaneh. She is also a truly lovely person.

Afsaneh came in super early to squeeze me in on a busy Saturday at her salon. I had read so many good things about her and it’s all true. She is a lovely person and a gifted stylist. An appointment with her is absolutely worth the drive from Joshua Tree, LA, San Diego or anywhere else. I commend her commitment to using organic products. The salon didn’t smell like chemicals and my scalp wasn’t irritated by the color. I am so impressed with my new ‘do and I’ll definitely be back again and again!

Sunny is a very interesting lady! I loved what she did to my hair, the color and cut are both great — price is reasonable for Palm Springs. I will certainly be returning.

Afsaneh’s Salon is very different than other salons in the Coachella Valley. Her salon doesn’t smell like toxic chemicals when you walk in. She uses non-​toxic products and even has quite a selection of organic hair products too. Her salon is clean and calm, and the water feature gives an element of tranquility. She is a friendly and kind person who loves her dogs, so sitting in her chair as she worked on my hair, was very easy. My hair had previously been butchered by someone at Supercuts, and Afsaneh did her best to bring my hair back to life. She gave me simple and inexpensive tips to promote healthy hair growth, rather than peddling her hair products. She exhibited a great amount of patience with me, while she had to stop once during my deep condition and once during my haircut to allow me to use the restroom, as I am 39 weeks pregnant. Although her prices are a tad bit more expensive than Supercuts, it is worth it to skip the hassle and embarrassment of getting your hair butchered at a place like Supercuts, to go straight to the professional. From here on out, I will only be going to get my hair done by Afsaneh, aka. Sunny. Besides that, it is nice to support local business owners, rather than franchises.

So I recently moved to Palm Desert and needed good colorist. All these great reviews plus organic color intrigued me. All the reviews are true! Afsaneh chose a beautiful color for me. Couldn’t be happier.

Afsaneh (Sunny) is the most talented stylist in the desert. Her salon is the only one I know of that carries and knows how to deal with organic hair color. Most salons will carry no ammonia hair color but can never get the color right. You can tell that Sunny knows has more than enough experience. She also makes sure my hair always looks stylish and up to date. I walk out feeling and looking amazing. I have recommended several people to this salon asking where I have had my hair done.

There is no better! Have had my color done all around the world, and no one gets it like Afsaneh, or as we call her, Sunny. She is not only a super intelligent magician when it comes to turning your hair around for the better, she is also just about the sweetest person you could ever meet. Ask her about the 10 dogs she rescued!
And on top of all that, what a treat to have all organic hair color. And basically a private salon all to yourself. And you never feel rushed. And she has free coffee and snacks!
I actually drive 2 ½ hours from Los Angeles now for an appointment. Yep, she’s that good! All your friends will comment on how radiant and healthy your hair looks,

It is such a relief to find a salon in the desert where the owner is such a professional. My hair was like straw when I started coming here… dry, frizzy, over processed. With the organic products paired with Sonny’s fine style, my hair finally looks like hair. Near El Paseo but without the El Paseo prices… you really owe it to yourself to call and make an appointment. Sonny does not disappoint.

Afsaneh is truly a artist & cares about the health of my hair. The BEST color, haircut and Blow-​dry I’ve ever had. I walk out feeling like a movie star every single time.

Afsaneh (owner) is amazing. She gave me a haircut and highlights… WOW! I can’t stop talking about this place. She said she just opened so I’m happy I got her before people found out about her. I don’t ever Unilocal but then again I have never been soooo happy before!!!
