Connie is the best! Great alterations, reasonable prices, and I can always count on great customer service and a large smile on her face. This shop is a true gem in the valley. I get all of my alterations done here. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

Blanche’s has been doing alterations for me since 1974. I recently had them add some material to one of my skydiving jumpsuits, and they fixed a couple of broken seams without me asking, for no extra charge.
If there are nicer, more reliable people to deal with, I haven’t met them yet.

Connie and her staff did an amazing job! I rarely write reviews but I am so pleased.
This is my first time having alterations done. I thought it was a waste of money, so I wore store bought skirts that never fit my frame. (big hips, smaller waist). The change is phenomenal. The skirts I brought in fit perfectly. The only evidence of any alteration was were almost invisible darts that looks like it they part of the original design. I have no reference for time or price, but it was certainly worth it!
The store only accepts cash or check, so keep that in mind. Also, the only thing that went wrong was that my clothes were finished a day after I was told. Make sure to call ahead or stress the importance of a deadline if you have one.

Connie is super nice and helpful. She has fixed a number of shirts and pants for me. Very happy with everything and would recommend her to anyone else.

As someone who can sew very well myself, and have made wedding dresses, tailored suits, drapes, and more over the years, I found it difficult at first to hire someone to do what I could do, if I had time, which I do not. Over it! Blanche’s does GREAT WORK, is timely, reasonable, and it’s always a very pleasant experience to step into their shop and be greeted with a friendly smile. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Brought my daughter’s prom dress on Monday for last minute alterations and picked it up today. Best alterations shop in the valley. She is super sweet, fast, professional and friendly.

I was 45 min away for a appointment and my pants separated at the leg. Walked in and they fixed it up right then and there. $ 10 what a deal for such fast service!!!

i used to take tons and tons of clothes to Connie (the woman who is always there and does the tailoring is not named Blanche). One time all of my skirts came back a mess. The lining was all bunched up and the seams were not right. I called her and because she was closing for the month of August, I asked for my money back just for one skirt, so I could take it elsewhere and still be able to wear it, as it was a summer skirt. After a long conversation, she said she was ripping up my whole check (what?) and put a customer on the phone with me to verify that (what??), and told me not to come back.

This is the best Alterations and Tailoring in the Valley, I send all my friends and family members here because they are incredibly friendly, affordable and do excellent work in a timely fashion, even when you are in a pinch and need it NOW! I have since moved out of the area, and was visiting for a few days and they were able to get my skirt fixed for me before I left. (I should bring all my clothes in when I visit!)
Blanche’s is one of those hidden gems that usually only the valley natives know about… let’s change that — everyone should benefit from this shop. :)
